Thank you for all of your support !
I think the bigger boxes can easily get overloaded. This one works well for putting together kits for different projects
I tried it. I like the idea. One box for drilling, another for soldering, third for screws, another one for nails, etc... Unfortunately I finished with too many boxes. 🤣 And many of them are overloaded. 🤣🤣🤣
I would agree, for carrying around the big boxes can definitely be too much sometimes, wheeling around not so bad though
I’ve used this same ammo box to set up a high voltage cable splicing kit. Fits all the hand tools and little bits of hardware that you’d need, and works great!
love kits, no matter what it is, such peace with grabbing one box and everything you need is in there to finish a job !
Those adjustable dividers inside the toolbox seem pretty useful. Also, with this being quite a tall toolbox it really opens up the options for what you can store inside
its great, I really hate having to put stack tools on top of one another, that's definitely a big factor of why I like these the best, my runner up would be the 3drawer box for the same reason, just so much better not having to dig through tools to get to other tools !
i like the idea of setting up specific kits with those ammo cans, i think they are the best fit to have a power tool with its hardware/accessories all together
fully agree
I’m a big fan of the ammo can as well. I set mine the same way you do yours with the fasteners attached on the bottom.
Such a nice set up - rather compact for what you can carry in it too !
Thanks for this video. It’s nice to see what fits in there and to get the benefit of your views on its utility.
I purchased this ammo can today and really impressed.
The pack out system is tempting. I have a bunch invested in Occidental Leather, some Veto and other bags and boxes. Keep trying to keep away from the packouts.
I have a set of occidental bags, they are awesome! I love their quality of build, truly top notch!
It's hard to find a smaller box which can hold a compact blower.
Been looking at this for a bit.. I’m convinced now. Thanks man
Glad I could help!
I prefer the Stacktech Compact Toolbox.
I’ll check that out!
Jus buy Milwaukee bro stop tryna be different
Keep going bro, you have a good potential!❤
Seen these filled with a grid of 1"+ PVC conduit to hold screwdrivers, pliers, and other hand tools in an exceedingly easy-to-see, 'first order retrievable' way. I would imagine the can would fit up to 10" channel locks. Probably great for those that do the fast-and-light 'bring in the box, open it up, fill a tool pouch with the 7 tools you need for the task/morning/day, rotate tools in and out as required, everything back in the box at end of day.'
I've also seen someone turn one of the drawer units + dolly + seat pad with Packout mounts attached to the bottom into a rolling work seat -- I imagine you could do the same with this, and it looks like the can is a bit shorter than the drawer units; might be a more comfortable height.
1000% ! I have seen that drawer rolling seat build, aside from being really expensive for what it is, I've been pretty tempted with wanting to do something like that - I like that idea with the PVC ... I might look into doing that - I am constantly changing my mind or my use for certain things so i never end up doing something too permanent haha - thanks for the comment !
Another idea for a video...not sure if you do your own vehicle maintenance, but if so, maybe a toolbox tour of your mechanic tools (if you have a separate one).
this is on my list ! I have one more drawer I wanna figure out better before I do a video on it but this has been on my list !
More shop videos. Looking forward to the shop series.
Man, I got such low viewership on the first shop series video that I kinda scrapped the idea, maybe I will bring it back, those are some of my favorite videos to watch
Nice ammo box. They should make ones half the size as well
Agreed! more options the better!
Good video. Maybe you could do a video on how you organize the inside of other PACKOUT boxes.
Great idea! thank you!
Love this ammo box.
After using all manner of tool organization types the soft side bag is by far the best. Hard sided boxes are restrictive in a lot of cases. The idea of dedicating boxes to specific tasks is a good idea but once again the bag easily accomplishes this style. If youre moving around on a job site the tower of boxes is probably the way to go but for the average home owner the bag is for sure the best. The less ridged the container is the more it offer flexibility providing you keep it organized and dont allow your bags to cross contaminate where youre searching for stuff across a heap of bags.
basically a purse for tools, you love that!! 😂
Those pesky, toxic masculinity, hard cases... you hate that
A good video would be on tool upgrades, like getting better tools to replace other tools that have made a difference in your workflow. Either to better brands or different tools with better options or accessories.
great idea! I have one that definitely comes to mind that I have been wanting to do a vid on but I'm sure with a walk around the shop I could come up with a good handful of things ! Thank you !
Love packout. Good luck hitting 1000
thank you !
don’t know if you’ve made a video on any electrical testing equipment or other measure if devices but i’d love to hear your experiences/opinion with that kinda stuff
Fluke everything! I have a good handful of meters and such, nice idea ! added to the list !
I’m thinking about getting one to put sheet metal tools for ductwork in
great idea!
Pack it out. Can it hold ammo?
Does the segments come with this item?
Definitely could, would be super heavy of filled though - yes the partitions come with it!
Great info. Thinking about getting into Packout. Might start with this box.
Wondering if the M18 framing nailer would fit in this.
I have the m1815ga finish nailer, which should be similar in size but probably a bit smaller... I will try it out next time I'm working out there and let you know - definitely would have the partitions out and it would take up most of the space
Videos are great, ideas on how to organize various tool kits
thank you much ! added to the list !
1. You can make video about lending tools. The non-tool neighbour not necessairly needs to get your best tool, because he can brake it.
2. You can make a video about borrowing tools. You do not need to own a tool used once in ten years.
3. What kind of hammers do you use?
4. What are your best 3 tools?
5. What are your worst tools?
6. What is in your First-aid kit? Do you have one?
7. Security glasses. Helmets. Straps. Gloves. Shoes. Etc.
8. How do you segregate tools? Electrician, plumbing, drilling, etc? What is your way?
9. How do you clean tools?
So many topics comes to my mind. Maybe I should become a youtuber?
all great ideas, thanks ! and yes ! start up a channel !
@@UpstateMaveric Also:
1. Food and drinks in the field, boxes, bags, knives, spoons
2. Picnic tools for fireplacing with family
3. Saws, knives, axes
4. Precision tools for electronics
5. Ropes, bands, expanders - all this kind stuff for packing and transportation
6. Clothes for a hard working man
7. Smart tools that work in many unusual situations, but not necessairly multitools.
8. Your projects you work on.
9. Unsolved problems - fresh ideas may pop out in the comments.
If you do plumbing:
1. What valves do you prefer?
2. What pipes? How you cut and join them?
3. Sink, faucet, toilet installation.
If you do electrics:
1. What kind of cables are there? What are they for?
2. Security equipment for household voltage (110-230V)
3. Cable connectors, wagos, twists, etc.
4. VDE insulated tools.
Any other jobs are also full of topics to be covered.
I was looking at this exact box a week ago but it's like $100 here... I can't justify that cost right now... though it's a great size.
where are you at ?
@@UpstateMaveric I get the Canadian price gouge.
Love Bahco and Packouts
alllll the good stuff!
Nice review!
Thanks!
Strap on a GoPro, and take us along for a motorcycle or dirt bike ride.
motorcycle is parked for the season! a bike with a 150hp (and me riding it) is no good on the slick winter roads! really would love to get out on a dirt bike though, been thinking about getting one actually. I'm not sure if I'd make content with those tho !
Lemme get that wrench!
good luck!
Do a day in the life at your job for a video idea
Awesome idea! A whole day in 10-15 minutes shortcut. 👍
I'll have to a pick a busy day so my job seems cooler than it is ! hahah thanks for the idea!
@@UpstateMaveric Yeah, add some flames, shooting, chases, fights, pretty girls and you will be a 'zero-zero' agent saving the THE SHOP. My name is Wolfer, Nic Wolfer. Martini, please. Stirred and not shaken (opposite to James Bond preferences). 😁
More packout
packout always does well! Thanks!
Perhaps some chainsaw and wood splitting vids?
Yes definitely want to do that - up here in Upstate NY the ground is so muddy right now I've kinda stayed out of the woods, I'd like to get out there but need a freeze up ! Adding those to the list though!
probably one of my favorite hobbies is working in the woods so that would be really great
Work car walk around and camping
before reading your comment my thought was that I would do an update on my work car set up, so you probably can expect that tonight/tomorrow - thanks ! As for camping, I have been thinking I would run another channel with hikes, adventures, backpacking and other type 2 fun stuff ... not sure! time is so limited !
