@@WarriorHumble24 you should check out more of Trazyn the Infinite. Saying that he collects people, artifacts, and things is putting it incredibly mildly. His collection is absolutely insane. He has several regiments of imperial guard. He has several space marines. He even has a CUSTODES. He has a Krork, an enslaver, and a battle diorama made from an entire army of orcs. He even tried to collect an entire Tyranid fleet but got rid of it after they kept breaking out. One of the craziest things he has is a perfect clone of the primarch Fulgrim. Trazyn is a great character.
The main focus of the Horus Heresy trailer is Primarch Horus Lupercal, Son of the Emperor, First Among Equals, Warmaster of the Forces of the Imperium, and finally the Arch Traitor. If you are interested in learning about him, then check out the book Horus Rising by Dan Abnett.
Now that you've seen most of the official stuff, I have a few more recommendations for amazing fan-made cinematics: * The Lord Inquisitor Prologue * The armoring of a Space Marine * Death Korps of Krieg (the one by Sodaz) * Siege (also by Sodaz) * Strolling through Ultramar (super short and just for fun) Since you reacted to the Imperial and Necron trailers for Battlefleet Gothic Armada, I would recommend also watching the "40k Ork Cinematic" upload by Chapter Master Valrak, it's a cutscene from the game that basically serves as the Ork trailer. lastly, if you think that you have acquired a base understanding of the factions and lore by now, it could be fun to give the parody series "If the Emperor had a Text to Speech device" by Bruva Alfabusa a chance.
If you haven't already seen it, check out Astartes 1-5. It's a VERY high quality 40k short film made by one person. There's also videos explaining what's going lore wise for newer people but watch the original first.
First trailer features Ultramarine Primarch and CURRENT RULER OF IMPERIUM, Roboute Guilliman. Not much to comment here, altho you maybe noticed that he said "as imperium rots around us" which is nice touch, since he was in stasis for 10000 years and hates current imperium. Second trailer features the Arch-Traitor himself, Horus. Yes, the very same one. And yes, Horus heresy is named after him. The only permanently killed primarch we know off. So some of primarchs are immortal and can revive themselfs, everyone who sold their soul to chaos is also immortal and will be back sooner or later. Horus however, was killed by Emperor so fucking hard, that his soul empowered by 4(!) gods of chaos simply gone, forever. Which is impossible feat for 40k, but shows you how strong Emprah really is. Gothic armada...Not much to talk here honestly. Big monsters are as you might guessed, tyranids and their bio-ships. The robot guy narrating one of trailers is the Thief himself, Trazyn the infinite. Very famous Necron Lord. Famous for stealing...everything and everyone and having a massive collection that includes even alive clone of Primarch if i'm not mistaken. Which is a very, very big deal. Death of hope if first fan made trailer you reacting you reacted, nice. High quality work, but this is one of few content makers who never joined GW, unlike others (Sodaz and or astartes creator for example). You mostly done with official GW trailers at this point i think. Still plenty of game trailers left, plenty of somewhat official fan made staff (authors did joined GW after all). Good luck!
For the first trailer, the voice that was narrating was supposed to be Roboute Guilliman, the primarch of the ultramarines. The whole scenario is the human imperium fighting off a tyranid hive swarm named "Leviathan". The second trailer is supposed to be narrated by Horus, the primarch of the luna wolves and how he lead 8 of this primarch brothers on a coup and attacked earth.
The creatures are Tyranid Bio ships. A Void Kraken is different but pretty much what the name implies. A giant space squid that eats ships. But for reference on how big these things are, it has no problem taking down a Firestorm Frigate which is a "small" Imperial escort ship but still comes in at 1.8km and has a crew of 250,000. So saying they are floating cities is more accurate. But honestly I don't think trying to get 100% of the lore down is smart. It's too much info. Like the space marine 2 trailer, Titus, you can tell what company he is from, his years of service and his rank just by looking at his armor. Is that necessary to know? No, but that's how deep it is. I feel it's better to grab 1 thing you think looks cool and branch off from there (like a game or book or cool mini) than digging through lore vids or get a lore dump from random ppl on the internet. Honestly there is a lot of misinformation that gets spread like that as well. Little rant :P It's crazy how nobody can get that minigun BRRRRRRRT sound right. Guess movie makers want you to hear ever individual shot but common man, multi barrel weapons like that can fire some 6,000 round per minute. Not just a problem in the first trailer, I've seen fighter plane movies fail to get that right. Just bugs me every time.
dude, To my deepest regret, I forgot to recommend a video to you (probably one of the best)...forgive me... please don't report me to the inquision^^ "SPACE MARINE ARMOURING RITUAL"
I believe the gothic part themes with the voice over. "We are ready to die in the millions in cold space," for duty/humanity so the armadas themed like a graveyard/church as they are dead men out in the voyage.
The first video was already partially explained by other comments but it also indicates that ,while the imperium looks and sounds powerful, it is not as correct as the preachers and authority figures make it out to be. It takes victories but also hard losses in the battlefields whilest also rotting from corruption and lies. Engaged on all sides whilest corrupt on the inside, who would want to rule that?
You need to watch lore videos. Although it doesn’t have epic animation, you’ll fall in love with the lore. The remembrancer explains pretty good lore. Wolf lord rho is pretty good too. Majorkill although people shit on him; he’s pretty good for quick explanations with comedy. Amber king has the best voice acting and etc.
those big space bugs are the tyranids they are a hivemind like conscious that come from outside the milky way galaxy they are here to eat all biomass the hivefleets currently attacking mesure in the trilions and those are only the scout fleets they create a type of physic signature that cuts off all communication rendering warp travel nearly impossible and long range coms unusable they isolate entire sectors consuming them and creating more tyranids they are also very adaptable and all information goes back to the hivemind each to that each hivefleet will be stronger then the last
The metal guy with the green light is Trazyn the Infinite. He is a Necron and he "collects" people, artifacts and things.
Thanks for the info! 🙏
He sometimes even help someone, but only he could gain something to his collection.
And to add a bit of Context. Trazyn is greatest character in this fictional IP.
@davidwalker5990 I wouldnt say the greatest, but he's up there

Already saw and reacted to it. It's actually the very first Warhammer 40K I saw and posted on the channel!

"Who is that guy" I know he's very naughty.
