Ive started my photography journey with my secondhand, amazing value, £700 mint Fujifilm XT-4. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. The XT-3 is the daddy of my pride and joy and you cant argue with what a weapon it still is in 2024
XT3 is an all rounder, and im even happier because chris is like hte perfect teacher who makes videos dedicated for them, this makes it the perfect camera for beginners.
I learned how to shoot on the XT3, so I wholeheartedly agree. The handling and physical controls were crucial for learning and keeping me engaged in photography
My favorite Fujifilm camera is still the X-H1, because i still use a lot of M42 lenses and the X-H1 got in body stabilizer that works really well with old vintage lenses, also i find it ergonomically a very pleasant camera. Dual SD cards, bigger view finder. I only own the X-E1, X-T1 and the X-H1
@@jasonmckinney3730 Yeah to me it's the best camera for my shooting purposes in every aspect, especially for the vintage lenses I own, and I use em a lot !
Yeah my favorite but not something i kept unfortunately, sold it and got the a7rv, much better focus and image quality. Smaller body and ergonomic is great too!. Still, xh1 feels so dense and the tilt screen has the best mechanism
I absolutely agree with you about the dials with photometry and drive being removed/changed. I miss both of them so much. Sure, I've got my workarounds, but those two dials really worked for me. I wish I still had my XT3 as a backup to my XT5 (which I love!).
XT3 also had the nicest shutter sound. The shutter sound just sounded different, unique. Maybe this is not a big deal, but for me, it is and i loved it!
Yep. XT3 was the camera that made me practically stop using my full frame and fall for fuji. Think I bought it because of your channel. This year I was think of an XH2 but after fujis handling of the Autofocus stuff I was remninded not to get attached and bought some micro four theirs gear instead.
agree :) I bought mine in 2019 and will never sell it! I took it around the world, on long-distance hikes, into snow and desert. once it dies, I will frame it and hang it on a wall. It's a gorgeous piece of art! beautiful photo-centric camera. the battery grip is "glued" on my xt3, making it just perfect.
I agree with you Chris. You also didn't mention the "feel" of the camera. My X-T3 feels in hand like a real camera. My X-T5 feels like lightweight plastic. The build quality and materials used on the X-T3 are just better than the X-T5.
Agreed, it's a remarkable camera and a great value as well. I just purchased one with less than 5000 shutter actuations for $863.00. The shutter sound is simply sublime. It's a true classic.
After reviewing all your previous video in 2023 april, I bought a secondhand Xt3 and I have no regrets at all. Xt3’s have one of the best shutter sound among all the Xt series. Thats the reason i love xt3 the most. Thank you so much for introducing this amazing camera.
Thanks a lot for your view. After having used Fuji gear for more than 40 years, for me my favorite is the X-T5. Why? I started to use X gear with the X-T1 in 2014 and moved to the X-T5 in 2022 as soon as it came out. For me, it was a homecoming to my first Fujica cameras. Small light and easy to use. And I did not have to use a battery grip, which makes the camera heavier than necessary, to extend battery life. I did feel the same way about the optometry dial as you do. Furthermore, I hardly use video and thus my favorite is the X-T5. I can walk around on one battery all day long and take hundreds of pictures without tiring. That is what I wanted since the X-T1 on which I always had the battery grip for said reason.
The X-T4 beats the X-T3 in all components (big battery, IBIS stabilization, dual video recording simultaneously on two cards in VIDEO MODE, rotary screen - good for vlog, additional film simulations, etc.) The X-T4 has the same classic design. I also have an X-S20 camera, but my favorite is the X-T4
I'm also happy with my X-T4 & X-S20. Used the X-20 for international travel & it worked out very well using the 18-135 Fuji lens. Learned a lot using my X-T3 as my first Fuji.
You aren't wrong about the specs, but many people strongly dislike the rotary screen for photoghraphy, and the build quality/haptics are worse as well. The camera feels less sturdy. I picked a 3 over the 4 for those reasons (also, price. It's a much better deal at current prices considering how similar the cameras are).
I'll tell you that I am so glad I bought my X-T3. I got it just after Fuji lowered the price to$999.00 that one year. I got mine in January of 2021, barely used with the warranty still. good. It had the 18-55, extra batteries(2 extra OEM and 2 third party), the Fuji grip extender(non battery), and everything still in the box and wrappers. I did a lot of research and shopping before buying. It came down to performance for the money for me. Also, I wanted a camera to take hiking. The X-T3 is a rugged machine that I just love.
Um, if you're big into film recipes (sort of the whole point of using Fujifilm cameras) the X-T3 has the big disadvantage of _not_ having white balance shift memory for all your custom C presets. It's a major pain having to set each white balance shift if you have the same white balance e.g. Auto for different presets. That was fixed for cameras that started coming out just after like the X-Pro3, X-T4, X100V, etc.
That’s a great point - I completely missed that one when I was making the video. I'll have to keep that in mind !!! 👍 Damn, I wish they could just fix that via firmware!
Totally agree Chris. Certainly my favorite Fuji next to my X-Pro 1. Such a versatile camera. I use the vertical battery grip with the extra 2 batteries for long range endurance. Thanks for your great tutorials over the years. Very much appreciated. Cheers, Sean.
My first camera is the X-T1, and I have it until today. I also love the X-T3 as you do. I use it even after buying the X-T5, because it's easier to use compared to the X-T5. I use the X-T5 only if I need a paparazzi camera (to magnify what I have taken on the camera).
Of all the Fuji cameras I've had, and I've had quite a few (apart from the last generation), today I would only repurchase the X-T3. At one time it was the best value for money. Plus this camera had ‘that something’. After moving to full frame I also finally appreciated how Fuji has quite a range of tiny and fantastic native lenses. Well, and what Voigtlander is now doing for Fuji is also worth a look. The X-E3 and color skopar 18/2.8 is a really cool option for a pocket EDC.
Originally switched to the Fuji system when the XT5 came out. I found 40mpx to slow me down too much. Nobody talks about the slower buffer on the XT5. Sold that for an XH2s thinking I’d do more video. Turns out I only needed 4k 24p. Sold the XH2s recently (Oct 2024) for an XT3. Such a perfect balance between performance and agility. Also, this might be biased, but I feel like the build quality on the XT3 is better than the XT5? Maybe it’s just me.
I feel the same about the build quiality. It's a very subtle difference, but I can definately feel it. Especially when turning the dials, the X-T3 feels sturdier. To me, the '3' has a more 'soul' than the '5'. While the latter is technically more advanced
Not all people has money to upgrade their gadgets everytime when there is new camera coming out. Did a lot of research + my needs + your channel = i picked this camera and this is my only camera and still loving it. Glad its also your favourite. From Malaysia
This vote of confidence matters a lot when it comes from an expert channel like this one. For a primarily photography oriented camera (my use case), I found XT3 ticks everything I needed, including the overall experience, placement of dials etc. It’s Fuji XT lines most bang for the bucks undoubtedly!
I love my both of my X-T3's! For added battery life, get a battery grip (which can also be plugged in-Great for those long video shoots). I couldn't agree more with regards to using the extra money for accessories. I originally bought this camera for its 4K capabilities (for filming ministry-related videos) combined with the film camera-like dials of old, which reinvigorated my love of photography. The 4K video is still excellent quality; plus, I don't need a $10,000 computer to edit it. This really is a great all-around camera!
The XT2 was also my first Fuji camera and holds a soft spot despite handing it down to family; XT3 was also a fun camera which we also gifted to family. BUT my favorite is the XT4 ... bcs it has ibis and bigger battery, LOVE the fully articulating screen, and yes I LOVE the still video switch. Sorry, but have to disagree with you about that switch... wish all my cameras had that. But that's why we have choices, eh? 😉
To add on: The X-T3 has a battery grip option (useful when using an XF50-140 for photographing a evening performance). Also when using both the X-T3 and X-T5 together to photograph an evening of performances, the X-T5 in "Standard" Auto Power off Temp threw a heat warning by mid-show (had to switch to HIGH). The X-T3 never broke a sweat. All the new fancy tech & algorithms require more CPU and therefore is generating more heat to dissipate. Trade-offs. I've still got both, I still use both.
I recently got an X-T3 for Astro-modification and realized one thing I don't have on my T5, and didn't have on my T2 or T4: A remote control cable access on the right side of the camera!!! I put on the X-T5 an L-bracket, I put my camera on the tripod in vertical mode, and if I haven't already plugged in the remote control cable in the camera it's too late when it's on the tripod... The T3 though - right side of the camera, easily plug in and enjoy. :)
My first Fuji was a X-T1. I fell in love with it and got other XT's. However, my favorite Fuji is my X-T3. The X-T3's such a lovely, enjoyable camera, especially in black :). It's my good friend. Thanks for all your great videos, btw. I couldn't live without them.
I totally agree. I bought a used X-T3 earlier this year in near mint condition. I think it’s pretty much perfect. To me it looks and feels like a high quality camera should. I also got a near mint X-E2S and I love that too. I’m so glad that I decided to go with Fujifilm when I took up photography again.
I had immediate regrets trading in my XT3 with my XT4. There's something that was just so special about it. Although, I now love my XT4, especially as you said with the battery life.
I've had my X-T3 for about 5 years now and I still love it. I bought an X-T5 when it first came out. I ended up returning it because honestly, the buttons and dials had a lighter feel and the clicks between settings were a little mushy. I shot a lot of pictures same place/same settings/same lens while I had both and I honestly could not see the difference in image quality.
Mt favorite is the XPro-1. I started with this and it has the best "feel" . I love my X-T5 which is a wonderful camera, but doesn't have the "feel" I like. The battery life is not as good as my old X-T2, but I can't go back . Wow, the price of the X-T5 has really increased since I bought it (Feb. 2023). They're all good if you use them properly.
I have two X-T3s for work. Video projects, music videos and photography of various events. My main lenses are the tamron 17-70 and the fuji 50-140. I also have 16/2.8 , 35/1.4 , viltrox 56/1.4 and a fisheye. But I only use zooms for work. The X-T3 is sufficient for everything I do and I don't need to upgrade. But when I go for a walk with my family, I carry a Nikon 1 and a Nikkor 10/2.8. (180 euro MPB)
My first Fuji camera was the XT20 which I still use most of the time. I also have an XT3 in my closet in the box that I purchased brand new a few years ago that I may have around 500 actuations on it. It's a great camera but I don't take a lot of walks and get in the outdoors like I used to. I need to start that again.
I totally agree with you. There is one thing which you didn't mention. And maybe that's because it has a better battery, but what I really find a design flaw in the X-T5, is the lack of having a battery grip. When you shoot portraits or are in the field, I love the battery grip. Because you still have all your controls, it's far more ergonomically than an after market grip, and you get extra battery power. I really don't get some of the design choices made with the X-T5, and therefor it won't be my new camera. We have to wait for the X-T6 or later, because as you said, love the dails where you can manipulate the triangle on the top plate.
My first Fuji camera was a used x-t30 as a small walk around when I don’t want to take my dslr. I absolutely love it still. There’s just something lovely about. I do wish I could add a couple of the newer film sims but otherwise love it so imagine the x-t3 is a great camera
Bought my X-T3 last January. Like you said, it's an amazing camera to learn the exposure triangle and I've evolved a lot thanks to this spectacular camera. The 18-55 is great and versatile to start with, but I quickly felt the need for some other lens (don't get me wrong, still use the "best kit lens ever made"). I got the Viltrox 27mm f1.2. The X-T3 with this lens is something else. This camera is getting me a lot of great moments. Glad is your favourite, and glad I got one! 👌🏻👍🏻
@legoles123456 how's the 75mm? Is it as good as the 27mm? I love the 27mm, but sometimes I'd like to get a bit closer without actually getting closer to the subject. Deciding between the 75mm or a zoom lens. But leaning towards the 75mm. Can you give me feedback on the 75mm? Thanks 👍🏻
I bought mine second hand in 2021 and got a huge deal. The xt3 came without even a single scratch, clearly barely used, combined with a 18-55 kitlens, original packaging, SD card and charger. All for ONLY €900. If I now sell it, I will still make a profit xD. And it has been a strong camera. Allowed me to grow into more pro features and even filming. It's fast and if you know it's weak points, you can easily move around them. If only it had IBIS, then I would have bought another one. Oh and recording times are a bit meh. Mine had the known bug of sometimes getting factory reset if it froze or pulled out the battery while it was on. Backing up your settings is crucial for me. But this has been made much more easy lately trough the app... And I can't even remember the last time it happened. Battery life is sad. But not all that bad for photography. Just get a couple extra. For video I do know it is a pain to have to change frequently, but it's recording times aren't great either way, so you have to pause and interact with the camera anyway, so I don't see why switching a battery is so bad then. It is a great camera to grow into and I would still recommend it to anyone that is getting more serious about photography or videography!
My first Fujifilm and still rocking it out is an X-T3. Later I got an X-Pro3 and an X30. My only drawback is the recording limit as I do video podcasting and that 30 minute cap is a letdown. Aside from that is a very competent camera til this day
My X-T3 is enjoying its retirement by being permanently bolted onto a copy stand - I use it with a macro lens to copy my 4x5 large format film negatives. I use an X-T5 now for digital photography, but the X-T3 will always have a special place in my heart!
Another great thing about the X-T3 from a still-photo perspective is the amazing X-Trans III sensor, the same one found on the legendary X-Pro2. I recently bought an X-E3 (same X-Trans III sensor), and IMO, it achieves the most film-like quality one can hope for in a mirrorless camera.
Thank you for this video. Picking my favorite Fuji camera is hard. I have so many bodies. I haven’t used my XT3 in a while. It has been buried and relocated it recently. Will take it out for a walk soon. I do street photography. I value small size and lightweight. I might do some video clips but I’m very inconsistent. Lately I’m using the XT30 and XS10. I just bought a XE2. My favorite Fuji body is the one I’m using. I’m very fickle. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
A big fan of the X-Tx series myself. I've owned the XT1, 2, 3 and now two XT5's. The photometry dial is really the only thing that I miss from the XT3.
It is the only one I have, but I agree with you. It is a fantastic camera for the price. I feel almost embraced to tell that I bought mine (black version) a few months ago by 1050€ with the fabulous 16-80mm F4 attached and 2 extra batteries. How could I ask for more?
I don’t own a XT-n camera. I never did. My first, and for the next 40+ years last Fujifilm camera was a pocket 110 camera. I think I got it as a present from my parents when I was about 16 or so. FF……. This year I bought a X100VI. My second Fujifilm camera. It’s a nice camera, but all in all I think it’s an overpriced fun camera. Thank goodness I still have my good old Sony A99 and fantastic Minolta glass, or my wife’s Nikon D700. So I think I’m going to stick with what I have. No matter how tempted I am buying a XT-5. Thank you for another great video. I really like your channel, your approach, your narrative and last but not least, thank you for sharing your knowledge with so many.
I upgraded from the XT3 to the XT5 and have never regretted it. The IBIS is excellent and, despite some of the criticisms of the build quality, I actually like the feel of the XT5 better. As to the ports, I don’t do video so I could care less what’s under that little door. :)
I just purchased a used X-T4 over a used X-T3. The main reason is that it is for a trip to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, in January, and battery life is essential. After the trip, I will occasionally be photographing bald eagles with the 70-300mm lens. IBIS sounds helpful.
for me it would be the X-H2, it's just so good for the money. fantastic EVF, battery life, IBIS, ergonomics, sensor, cf express, etc etc etc. it's just a great camera. I find the custom dial really good since I shoot with longer lenses and do wildlife photography, being able to swap between fine tuned settings for "birds in flight" vs "stationary birds" just with one dial twist - is a game changer
Always loved my XT3 - my first Fuji camera....but, when you said the XT5 is $700 more expensive, well, when you take into account the 5th gen processor, the 5th gen 40mp sensor, IBIS, better grip and latest tech all round then that $700 difference isn't that bad at all!!!
The X-T3 has been my primary camera since 2020. I use it for wildlife (mostly birds--now with the Fuji 150-600), jazz concerts (with the Nikon 70-200 f2.8 and the Fringer adapter), and general photography. How do I get around the battery problem? I use the Fuji vertical grip, which allows me to run the camera with THREE batteries! I know not everyone likes vertical grips, but I do. I've used them on this camera and others (mostly Nikon) for years.
@@gregboyce360 Yes. The Fringer and the Nikon 70-200 work together very well, but the Fringer and my Nikon-mount Sigma 150-600 don't work well together (which is why I got the Fuji 150-600). Fringer says that's because the Sigma is not a true Nikon product and thus the engineering is probably somewhat different. Did I explain that OK?
Managed to get the deal of the century the other day: a brand new X-T3 for £300, I absolutely love it so far, im about to start a wedding photography business and will be using it alongside the XT5
The XT3 is the first Fujifilm camera 📷 that I purchased slightly used as it was discontinued and the XT4 was already out. I prefer the screen on the 3 for photography, I waited for the XT5 but the XH2 was released first and it is my go to wildlife camera. I did add the XT5 & XT50. I now use the XT3 for my tripod camera, it has an L Bracket and I use a remote shutter release. The reason why I use it as my tripod camera is i don't have to turn off the IBIS because there is none ,being on a tripod i don't need a lens with IBIS , i don't worry about the environment that I use in in so i use it along the shore and every where else. I enjoy using the diles on top of the camera and again working on a tripod, you can see all the controls and camera settings, this type of photography, cropping is not an issue so the sensor size is perfect.
I agree. I purchased my X-T3 in 2019 and still use it today. I have not upgraded because the images it creates are beautiful and I do not think I can get a better image by upgrading. BTW, I have at least six generic batteries for the X-T3 that have never failed.
Believe me you won't get better images than on the XT3, I sold mine to upgrade to the XT5, and while I like the 5 a lot and use it regularly, I still pine for the old classic that is the XT3.
I agree so much about the photometry settings on a dial. Have to say my favorite was my first one. It was an X-T1 replacement for my D300 which Nikon had abandoned to the pit of no updates due to lack of corporate interest. The X-T1 was so compact and beautiful. It constantly reminded of an even more elegant version of the short lived Contax RTS. Simple menus. Current is X-T5 when Fuji remembered some of us are not into video.
For me it’s the X-Pro3 (or maybe the X-Pro2). I have an X-T5, and I like it. But I only use it for specific tasks. I started in the Fujifilm system with an X100S and an X-Pro1. Those were the cameras that attracted me to the Fujifilm system. Those were, and their successors are, the cameras that fit my style of photography. Currently I have an X100F, X-Pto3 and X-T5. I had an X-T3, and I understand why you like it. It was a very impressive camera. Video is not important to me. So those features don’t really come into my decision on acquiring a camera. I don’t really get why everyone bitches about the battery in the older cameras. I have never used more than one battery in a day. I always have a spare in my pocket, but rarely use it. I guess I’m just more efficient with my usage. Or maybe it’s just because I don’t shoot video.
I have to agree, X-T3 is my favorite camera as well. Sadly I don’t have mine anymore and am currently using the XS-20. I’m preferring the smaller body, ibis, and built in flash!
I have both the xt3 and the extra battery grip also have the xt5 . I use xt3 with all my vintage lenses and get great shots . Always enjoy your presentations
THANK YOU for bringing up the SD/HDMI output options!! I’ve been so frustrated that all the 5th generation Fuji cameras don’t have that. I even asked the guys at the Fujifilm booth at NAB about it this year, and they didn’t have any idea why that feature dropped off. There was like 3 of them all looking at the new models, searching the menus for it, trying to figure out why it wasn’t there. I’m hoping the higher ups will catch on to how valuable that feature was for us. My first Fuji was the XT3 which I used for wedding videography (Over the years, I’ve added the XT4, XH2, and XS20 to my lineup), and that feature was my absolute favorite. I could record the whole wedding in something like Classic Chrome, and output backup files in Flog to the Ninja V. Then in the edit, 99% of my shots were ready to go with almost no color work required, BUT if any shot needed a bit more latitude, I could just pull up the Flog Ninja files and slip those in. It was an awesome workflow, and I miss it so much. Now neither my A-CAM or B-CAM (XH2 and XS20) support that feature. Here’s hoping that changes in the future 🤞🏻
I recently rigged up my XT3 for video with an Anker battery supply, it lasts all day. I am hoping to get much more life out of it. If I’m out all day shooting stills, I don’t mind attaching the huge battery when my spares die. It’s such a great camera. PS: I’ve recently moved to PTC, I’ll say hi if I see ya!
I have a question, Do you really think that Photometry really matters on Digital Cameras? It really matters on Film Cameras, but not, in my honest opinion, on digital. I think it's not needed on DSLR cameras and I think it's needed even less on mirrorless cameras whereas the viewfinder or display gives us the image with perfect exposure. What do you think about it? Thanks for your amazing videos!!
My favourite Fujifilm camera depends on what I’m using it for. Best value is definitely X-H1 at the moment. For everyday use, such as family, street and travel I like the X-T5. My current passion is wildlife and macro photography and the X-H2s is superb- the custom modes, 40fps, quicker af, better handling with big lenses, faster cf express cards.
I've mostly moved to the Canon R system with the R6 and R6II after selling my XT1 and Xt2 and all my x mount lens. Somehow, I never able to get rid of my XT3. And recently I've added the Sigma 18-50 X mount for my x system. Thanks for the video to justify my decision to keep the XT3
I switched from xpro2 to xt3 and yeah it is a steel. Pair with the new 23mm 1.4 is all I need. I have two batteries but I take picture like if I had a film camera so 2 batteries can last the whole day from morning till evening.
Thanks for sharing and explaining why the XT-3 is your favourite. I have an XT-4 which I love, but you didn’t mention it much - maybe you don’t own an XT-4 any longer so it was disqualified. Better battery, floppy screen and dedicated photo / video settings are the benefits for me. Never had an XT-3, but still holding on to my XT-1.
I couldn't agree more. The XT5 with no battery grip facility doesn't work, in my opinion, with larger lenses 100-400. I'm probably more in love with my carry camera, the XE3. It is so overlooked by the XE4.
Thats quite the change from your XT5 review, where you said "like the larger batteryx once you change the photometry to a still/movie dial, you will never want to go back!"
I bought my X-T2 three years ago for £400 from a well known second hand store in the UK. Unbelievable value for money for my first camera and the physical controls are a must. I've used a friend's Sony and it would've taken me so much longer to learn the basics on that with all the menus.
I think for photography the X3 is great. While they change the dial for the XT4. They also changed the screen added a larger battery and created a camera not just only geared towards photographers but made it versatile and also geared towards people who shoot video, and that also enjoy shooting some crazy angles while shooting photography. I think it’s about user experience and everyone has their own person favorites. For me personally the XT4 was the last great diversified camera Fuji has made. Minus auto focus of course, but the same could be said about all their cameras. 24 to 33 megapixels seems to be the overall sweet spot for cameras and current tech today. I also agree the XT series is the best camera to learn exposure triangle on. It literally helped me learn it in depth and made it so much easier to learn. Can’t help but wonder about the XT6, seems like all their current focus is on lower end cameras. Which all these new phones with ai features and software processing will eventually kill a lot of that lower end market. It’s a money maker for now due to social media like TikTok. Fuji will forever be the camera I learned on but not the camera for professional photography. I think Fuji is best system for new photographers to intermediate ones. Also great for people who want to shoot higher quality stuff but can’t afford full frame cameras and lens. Sorry for the story book comment. Great video and thanks for sharing your favorite. You have most definitely acquired and earned the fuji user respect across the board. You helped me learn a lot over the years for sure. I look forward to your future videos!
Agree. I have an XT1, an XT3,and a 100v. Still use all three, but my favorite is the XT3. Borrowed a friend’s XT5 and quickly convinced myself that the XT3 is, for me, a better camera. I also think the build is better, absolutely don’t need 40 megapixels (and yes have printed many photos up to 11x14). Will also say that I almost prefer the images from the XT1…there is something different and magical about the X trans II sensor that produces beautiful photos. Stills photographer only - no videos. I think Fujifilm has lost its way with the latest XT5, 100VI, etc. Just be sure to carry an extra battery.
Hello! First time viewer and I’m loving the way you talk about cameras. How do you feel about the X-H1 in comparison to the X-T3? The X-T3 is way pricier than the X-H1 at 300$ more in my country. Would love to have your inputs on this. Thank you & much love from SEA
Interesting. I had an XT3 for a while before I moved on to other gear. Ive always regretted my decision to sell it. I’ve recently come back to Fuji and seriously considered an XT3. Another advantage of the XT3 is the ability to put a battery grip on it. I ultimately bought an XH2.
Still on my X-T3. Which is also what drew me to this wonderful channel many moons ago.
I'm still rocking my X-T3 too.
still rocking it, solid I guess.
Ive started my photography journey with my secondhand, amazing value, £700 mint Fujifilm XT-4. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

@@jamdaddy4181 came to say the same. XH-1 is great. Have shot xpro2 xt2 xt3 xt4 xt5 xh2 xh2s etc. Live the XH1 for ergo and specs.
The classics.
I take your word on it, anyday. You are the leading expert on Fujifilm cameras.
Because you dont know me 😂
I absolutely agree with you about the dials with photometry and drive being removed/changed.
@@dan.allen.digital this is why we ended getting XH2 and XH2S’ cause the XT5 felt so cheap :/
Love my pair of XT3 and I have no plans to change them anytime soon. One has been modified for IR and the other is regular colour.
I made a video explaining why I love the XT3 and I'm so glad you are echoing the same points! Long live the X-T3
The X-T4 beats the X-T3 in all components (big battery, IBIS stabilization, dual video recording simultaneously on two cards in VIDEO MODE, rotary screen - good for vlog, additional film simulations, etc.)
The X-T4 has the same classic design.
I bought a X-T3 this year and absolutely love it. And I have learned a lot about it from this channel. Thank you!
I never understood why Fujifilm didn't fix that via firmware update.
Yes XT3 had a better build
I feel the same about the build quiality. It's a very subtle difference, but I can definately feel it. Especially when turning the dials, the X-T3 feels sturdier. To me, the '3' has a more 'soul' than the '5'. While the latter is technically more advanced
I keep the ads running while i read the discription and comments to support pal 💪🏻
My favorite is the S5 Pro and always will be. The handling, sooc images from the ccd sensor, ergonomics mixed with the f mount. Simply amazing imo 🥰.
I have an x-t1, x-t2, x-t3, and an x-e4 beside my Nikons. My favorite number 1 is also my x-t3. 🎉
My Xt3 is still my day to day camera, it does a cracking job, and I am very happy with the results.
@@Korean_MCG i can agree it! I own The 27mm too and got the 75mm 1.2 later on - what a Dream combi 😍
Thanks 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing the reason, I too would like the photometry back on the dial. That makes it a complete camera.
Totally adore my XT3 on which I did learn photography. Thanks for your consistent insightful channel. 🎉
I’m in love with my x-pro2 graphite and I like my x100vi. But the best and the most versatile is my first camera x-t3.
Bought the X-T3 and ended my gear acquisition syndrom instantly. What a relief 🥳
Yes xt-3 is great value, size is perfect and battery grip is indispensable in cold weather shooting.
My first camera. And it really was the turning point for video for Fujifilm.
I'm new to photography. The xt3 is my first proper camera and I love it 👍
I just purchased a used X-T4 over a used X-T3.
Much better value than xt5 for sure !
Does it autofocus thru the Fringer? Thx
@@zootmojo Yes thanks.
I’ve got a T1, 3, and 4 and yes, the three is my favorite as well.
Only recently got a used X-T3 and I love it. Also, with the Fujifilm MHG-XT3 Metal Hand Grip, its a godsend. 😊
I just saw your post after I left a post. I'm glad you had the same experience. It validates what I thought I observed between the X-T3 and X-T5.👍
About to upgrade to the XT-3 so this was a welcome video
Thanks Chris... I went from X-T2 to X-T4... I love both of the cameras 🙂 and I really love the rotating screen on the T4 🙂
Hey wow! I luv my XT3 too. I’m keeping it for as long as humanly possible. Just bought the macro 30mm too! Z7II & Plena lens.
I’m still using my Two XT-3 cameras and have no need to upgrade for my needs 😊
Glad I have both XT3 and XT5.
Which one you prefer?
I switched from xpro2 to xt3 and yeah it is a steel. Pair with the new 23mm 1.4 is all I need. I have two batteries but I take picture like if I had a film camera so 2 batteries can last the whole day from morning till evening.
started with XT1 2014 didn't bother with the XT3 or XT4 but succumbed to the XT5 last year the XT 2 has been converted to infra red
I agree, love my XT3 for both photo and video
I couldn't agree more. The XT5 with no battery grip facility doesn't work, in my opinion, with larger lenses 100-400. I'm probably more in love with my carry camera, the XE3. It is so overlooked by the XE4.
Agree XE3 is great as an EDC ( lightest of all, yet feels good quality )
My favorite Fujifilm is the only one I've ever owned, the X-T4... which I just got last Friday 😅
X-T3 with the grip is just excellent.
I love my XH1 for the handgrip and the shutter button and the price (half brand new) I got it at with the battery grip!
Am xt3 și sunt extrem de multumit...filmare nunți,diverse evenimente...SUPER camera
Hello! First time viewer and I’m loving the way you talk about cameras. How do you feel about the X-H1 in comparison to the X-T3? The X-T3 is way pricier than the X-H1 at 300$ more in my country. Would love to have your inputs on this.
Thank you & much love from SEA
Me too. Love his classic dials. All in XT3 is 😊 perfection ❤
