- Today I have released the last of this year’s back to basics episode. I thought this would be a good start to creating semi solid batts using a mix of your handdyed wools and fibre with mill dyed wools from your stash.

I started my business on a blending board and learnt everything and applied it to the drum carder. So just reverse the amount of fibre and plan out the layering on the board like I do an Art batt. You can’t go far wrong. I will do the semi solid in the new year. And yes I will be back daily from 1st to 24(Christmas day one will be Boxing Day) with my large advent daily opening. I've really got into making Art Batts on my Blending Board with Rolags thrown in for good measure. This year is the one that I've been more adventurous with my Spinning (only been spinning since 2021). Started with Drop Spindles and then the Nano 1.1 and I also have now the eWheel 6.
I'll be around for Vlogmas, so I hope I'll be catching up with you. 🎄🎄🎄🎆
