I’m not Indian, but I do the same. Each clean outfit is folded together so I don’t have to go digging around for it. When I get to my destination entire outfits are also hung together for easy, organized access. Sleep clothes are folded together and all underclothes are in their own zipped nylon bag. Shoes are all bagged as well. I pack a dirty clothes bag for all worn clothes to be folded into and separate from any still clean clothes for the trip home. Of course toiletries are in their own bag as well. I bring a wet bag in case something slightly wet needs to be packed.
oh HELL no. I'm not wearing wrinkled clothes, and I don't iron on vacation. a week in Nuevo Vallarta for me required ONE 20" suitcase, and included extra shoes, books, and a craft project.
I roll my clothing by item & then put them in ziploc bags with the item written on it, but that’s because most of my items are black, you might not need labels. Easy organization, everything is kept clean & dry even if the bag gets wet or something leaks, & then I don’t have a stinky suitcase full of dirty clothes after, they go in their bags which get washed & reused later. And by putting them in bags I can squeeze air out & fit a lot more without anything tangling & wrinkling.

If it’s a short trip and weather isn’t too bad I can lay out each outfit on its own too. It does save a bit of space but tbh most times I still prefer the organisation of folding things individually.
I think this method is best while returning Usually while leaving for a trip I get the clothes ironed so they sit nice and tidy. However while coming back most of the clothes are worn multiple times and very wrikly. So this method saves time packing dirty laundry in an efficient way. It will also help separate the clean clothes from the dirty ones on the return trip. I like it. ❤️

With pants I do have to fold them just in half but still saves so much for me! As for wrinkles, I don’t usually struggle with them but if it happens, I already pack a hair straightener and just use that as an iron if the hotel or place in staying at doesn’t have one!
I traveled a lot this year and I know everybody packs differently but I tried this method and then I packed them all individually. When I folded the clothes individually, my luggage held a lot more pieces of clothing then when folded together.

Tip: roll them up individually, rolling the clothes together will make your clothes and pants wrinkled Tip 2: if ur only staying for a few days don’t unpack your luggage keep all ur things in the suitcase and you don’t need to repack it which saves so much time
I just put a big towel at the bottom of the suitcase, roll every piece of clothing individually and stack them on top of eachother, put my underwear and other clothing piecee that are clean with it and cover all of that with that big towel I put underneath, so it can't get dirty. I put my shoes in trash bags, push all air out of those bags that I can and put those in different part of my suitcase and I put my cosmetics, hygiene products and other stuff in individual pouches and then I realize that I overpacked again 🙄 so I lay on all of them clothes that I packed until it all kinda shrinks and then I quickly close the suitcase and it is done, finally! Then I remember that I forgot to pack something...😤
I pack things this way when I am going to Jamaica for a month. But only because I will be unpacking everything, and utilizing drawers and closet space in the hotel for the duration. I pack much more carefully if I have to live out of the suit case. (Although I do pack clothes more non wrinkled)
