      You should be all set with that. I think it’s Dakota Digital SGI-8

    Where do you find the tach input wire coming off of the tach? Do you need to remove the dash and pull the tach? Someone installed a digital tach to a white wire coming off of the factory tach. When I disconnected it, the digital tach stopped registering numbers. Is that white wire my tach input wire? Sorry im not a mechanic or an electrician 🤦🏻‍♂️

      That sounds like it, it’s typically a white wire, yes.

      They are also different schematics based on your year and model. Send me your make and model and year and I’ll look the diagram up for ya. Also what engine and is it TPI

    Do you have links for the resister and the other mod you need to have the cluster to work ?

      What year is your car? Do you have cable speed? Dakota Digital has a box that does both speed and Tach. I suggest that one if you have later model speedo no cable. A couple to look at SGI-100BT is combo or Tach only (don’t need resistor) SGI-8E

    • @FireballMullet
      @FireballMullet  3 года назад

      @@DreadxHeadAR I believe that is cable. So you need two boxes, one for Tach mentioned above SGI8e and you need a cable to vss converter box ECD-200BT
