Under Co-Governance, people like Kiri Allan and Marama Davidson would have more unelected institutional power leading to the further degradation of NZ.
Will they may join the maori party therefore more seats in Parliament?
Antifa my ass, o, the building was shaking from the haka...it's meant to be bloody shaking! Sookies, the lot of ya!
sack them dont vote greens or labour ok.
Not sure they would
No one has even hinted at them having that kind of power, and suggesting it is at this stage conspiracy theory.
It's more likely to be more of what we have now where local Iwi co govern local projects or areas.
How so? Both Marama and Kiri were democratically elected Members of Parliament.... not sure what your post is implying.
Stop co-governance. Protect free speech! Thank you Julian.
Co-Governance meetings are not about free speech because they are not allowing free speech. The woke Julian Batchelor is spinning to suit his is agenda what happened in Palmerston North. I saw the raw video that was filmed by one of people attending the meeting and the 3 guys who drag the lady out with 2 guys calling to pull the lady's pants down to the dismay by some of the women at the meeting. Julian is full of disinformation and conspiracy theories. By the way the $55 million journalism fund has been wound up.
Liebour have been the biggest bunch of sellouts since rogernomics, now they've sold NZ out again.
stop racism protect minorities
Free speech but not stuff you don’t like 😂
Translates to “Heil Julian” protect white supremacy and privilege.
Seems that free speech is something no longer a right here is New Zealand and all sorts of very nasty people feel that it is their right to behave way beyond what the law allows.
And some of these unruly rabble rousers get citizenship awards!
@@delphoeneevenhuis5199Good point
There is no free speech. If a worker speaks truth to power, he loses his job or is evicted from his home. Thats my experience.
@graemehelleur1627 it is sad and it is true. Especially in government.
They use gaslighting tactics to prevent these people from providing another point of view in discussions.
I am receiving a coordinated campaign of abuse and bullying from management, but my attempts to organise the union to stop this is falling on deaf ears.
Freedom of Speech is one thing, but not allowing those whom your targeting to respond to you in a fair way is nothing more then utter cowardice... similar to what Julian Batchelor is.doing.
That type of protest is thuggish behaviour. They are entitled to free speech and have their meetings and be heard by anyone who wishes to attend.
The co-governance meetings are not free speech but creating social tensions and divisions.
I agree it certainly does not help but if they are Antifa related they are there to cause trouble! Not all those there protesting I believe were there to cause trouble but to show their frustration of Julian’s ignorance! Yes we all have a right to speak but even when I had bit my tongue for 4 hours he was not interested in the truth or being challenged NEITHER were his cronies who thought I wanted a platform! I just wanted to correct the record but he didn’t want to know! Arrogant and his helpers the same!
@@doraedmonds5917 - Julian Batchelor wants to create social tension and division between Maori and white NZers with is misinformation.
@doraedmonds5917 Well, that's it for me. I was considering attending, but 4 hours!? 4 long hours is simply too much to bear. Is it brain washing like a land mark type diatribe?

It is only because of the platform that I have been able to hear both sides of this debate. It is because of this that I can make what I consider to be an informed decision, to date. I am very disappointed and suspicious that any group is willing to shut down any platform of free speech and prevent me from learning the facts. If your argument is week then get your act together because you are letting down your side of the debate, suggesting that you don’t have an argument.
I take it you have read his booklet ? It is just a list of FACTS not in dispute. The protestors do not like the facts being known by the public, the He Puapua agenda was only made public under duress - it is now the not-so-secret plan for a complete Maori takeover of New Zealand.
Freedom of Speech is one thing, but not allowing those whom your targeting to respond to you in a fair way is nothing more then utter cowardice... similar to what Julian Batchelor is.doing.
That said, his arguments aren't even fact based. Maori Elitist who take large sums of Govt funding and spend on themselves?
Pakeha run religions and organisations have been doing the same thing for years, yet Julian Batchelor makes no mention of that comparison.
His facts are loose at best... its like he's conjured them all up off Facebook.
What an unbelievable interview. Hats off to Julian. Top respect to you. If we don't have Freedom of thought, speech and movement we are left with communism. Last one out turn off the lights.
Worse,Occupation is more fitting
Liebour turned this once Great and Beautiful nation, into New Xiland. No to co governance, and free free speech

Too late they already do who do you think got the New Zealander of the year award a nasty bully who helped orchestrate the awful mob attack on free speech in Albert Park and now is now writing for NZ Herald.
the thing is they do, they are in parliament, trying to get a foot hold, this election should see them gone if kiwis open their eyes, and vote them out.
Best interview on the platform yet.
It was reported in HB Today, that an un-named police officer rang the Hastings Racecourse to inform them that the private booking made was The Stop Co-governance Tour. How does that relate to keeping the peace and good order, and preventing crime I wonder? What it does suggest, to me at least, is that some police are partisan to this activist behaviour. It may be wise for everyone to step back and consider the history concerning the development of parliamentary democracy.
yes they clearly are, I remember a few of the cops that turned up at Vinnie Eastwoods place were just doing it of their own free will, but in uniform... filth always filth imho

It absolutely wouldn't be a surprise if there was a leak in the Police; in fact, it would be a surprise if there wasn't.
Im so concerned what is happening in this country. Its scary we are not able to discuss all sides of an issue without certain sectors of society trying to shut it down and often getting aggressive and violent. Thank you so much for bravely discussing this and speaking up.

Highly respected economist Thomas Sowell says:
“It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.”
I just wonder if these protesters actually know what they're protesting about, why don't they listen to Julian, they actually might learn something important.
Maori forgot they were litterly in the stone age a hundred years ago
Pakeha had forgot that they spread death through disease were descendants of a penal colony and confiscated land through laws created by themselves, we have never forgotten, we can never be erased out of society or the history of this country. @@chrismckellar9350 The woman who blew the whistle and burst an 80 year old woman's eardrum should be in custody and get a prison sentence. "Roughly handled", too bad.

She is not a victim of anything other than her own bad behaviour.

NZCPR, New Zealand Centre for Political Research is publishing free copies of the English translation of Sir Apirana Ngata’s 1922 “The Treaty of Waitangi: an explanation”.
In 1922, the trained lawyer and Member of Parliament Sir Apirana Ngata wrote an explanation of the Treaty of Waitangi in the Maori language.
Forty-one years later, with questions still remaining, Sir Apirana’s book was translated into English, distributed free of charge to Maori households inserted in a government magazine. Another forty years on, with the debate continuing, we are distributing Sir Apirana’s explanation the Treaty’s original meaning to Kiwi households.
And who better to bring some clarity into the Treaty debate than one of New Zealand’s most respected Maori leaders - the man who appears on our fifty-dollar bank note!

Paranoia on both sides. Violence and thuggery begets violence and thuggery, not dialogue. Self righteousness on both sides impedes dialogue. Without dialogue and agreement to disagree then the results will be disasterous. This sort of carry on is what went on in Europe in the 30's, which didn't end well. Rather than protesting violently the supporters of co-governence should conduct public meetings to present what they believe to be the merits of such an idea. Thuggery doesn't really help inspire support. It could be a workable system if it was ironed out and presented through rational debate, but as it is the fear and hysteria on both sides is only devisive and destructive.

Sean, with regard to the fact that when the police don't know where the meeting is going to be and no protesters turn up: I wonder if the protesters, or one of them, has a scanner whereby they can listen in to what the police are doing. They hear where the police are being told to go, and they turn up. So it's not necessarily an informer within the police telling them where to turn up. Just something I thought about while listening to the podcast, as my ex-husband and I had a scanner at one point.
Cops channels are digital and not on public frequencies, so I dont think you can just "listen in" anymore. That isnt to say one of these thugs hasnt got his hands on a police radio though.
