@@siqnoir3626 gotta allocate your time just a tad more efficiently and when I mean efficiently, I obviously do not mean minmaxxing. I mean keep yourself busy. Gather resources, forage, talk to villagers, etc.
My 60 animals are just hikikomori. I don't open doors for them so I can pet everyone and I need only 84k of gold for the hay for them. When you have already 18kk of gold that's not so much
I build farms to feel natural and look good. To me, convenience and efficiency is secondary. But having forested areas gives you benefits too so there are practical advantages to it as well

When you deleted all the crops and just built as much fish ponds as possible. I harvest only ancient fruits once a week in a greenhouse and on the island. The less you waste the time for plants the more time you have for other activities. At least when you are at 6th year and completed perfection
Omg I feel your pain! I did the same for my first farm. I just made a second one and chose the default farm. The good thing is I’m progressing a bit faster with this farm. 😅🤣
