I would also like to add 1/28 touring car is also a good option to if on Road isn't available! These little cars do take some time getting used to but once mastered everything else will be way easier! Plus it's very inexpensive (for on road) and you can drive it inside your house without breaking anything!
I just built the Laydown and rear keeps on spinning out. Setups for astro. Admittedly I have only tested it on tarmac so unsure if it should still be doing this.

The grip from the tyres on astro turf will act as a lateral break to keep from spinning out
