I forgot to mention in the review. My positioning for the rear buttons that I chose in the builder is "Standard" and "Low", If you want to cover all 4 buttons simultaneously with middle and ring finger the go standard and "lower", if you want to cover all 4 rear buttons with your middle fingers only go standard and low like I am running on this build.

Just to add to this. The (lower position) buttons are a little too low. I actually reached out to them and had them raise them a little bit for me in a custom position. They can literally do almost anything you want.

@@randomgamer19170 they will reach out to you and have you send them a picture of where you want them. I built 3 of them actually. The custom position is by far the best. Also make sure you get the quite buttons. A lot less hand fatigue if you’re 6 hour plus gamer.

Got my series x controller delivered about a week ago (used beaver boost and had it within a week) and realized that I positioned my top 2 buttons way too low to comfortably used. Sent it back for repairs the next day and they gave me a code to use to expedite it. Was just shipped today and should be back in hand by Friday. Had to pay for the change which I suppose is understandable since I'm the one that made the mistake, but for anyone out there considering buying, when it comes to the rear button selection; see where your fingers align on a standard Xbox one/series controller (in sure the same is true for Playstation) before you place the order. Might save you some heartache!

One thing I really miss about the ps4 after moving to the ps5 is the 30 dollar attachable easily remapped paddles. Sure theres the kit for ps5 but I dont really want to take apart my only ps5 controller or pay upward of 300 dollars for bumpers.

I've have my Battle Beaver Xbox controller for about 14 months. I love this controller. I just sent it in to fix the stick drift on the analog sticks. They also replied back and recommended I replace the back buttons. Repair time was 2 weeks. Great quality control.
Bro I recently got a Battle Beaver too and it felt like the longest wait of my life. I consistently emailed them to check the status and they kept telling me the same thing I finally got it after three and a half months. They don't have the same amount of aesthetic options as Hex but overall it's a solid controller I have to admit. (Paid $142)
Why would you "consistently" email a company who is making a custom controller on small scale?? You don't think they are trying to fulfill your order as fast as possible?? If you don't think so, wait until you run your own business someday (or not and you will never know)

My aim controller been sent back twice and its not last 3 months and not been hardly used at all and still broken. My ps4 controller has lasted me almost a year

Maaannn..its all worth it. And not a bad deal once you start playing with it. I've built a few modded ds4 rigs and the Beav bf's them all with the added stick tension thingy. If you got the bread, give it to the Beav
The thing i hate about Hex is they force you to buy an expensive base controller All i want is a base controller with dome sticks and 2 buttons on the back AS basic as they would get its almost $200....
I have had two controllers from BBC and both have had issues. PS4 controller had issues where the Square button and corresponding rear button could send signal to system. PS5 had the R2 mouse click trigger broke. Both of these issues happened just outside the 30 day warranties. Due to PS4 issue happening outside warranty range they wouldn't fix the controller and were going to charge me for the fix. Luckily I learned from the PS4 experience and got the 120 day warranty.
I dont even play on consoles anymore and still watched this video. Great quality video. I think you covered just about anything anyone would have a question about. I dont agree with the cable in the box part, warranty should be 120 out of box I agree or at least 60 days, and people overclock controllers nowadays?? wtf XD 10/10 video I subbed :)

I bought a battle beaver from someone off OfferUp. The next day I sold it back on OfferUp. The right joystick was too damn stiff. And the rear buttons sucked. I have the fps scuff now and those or the best back triggers I ever used.
They probably had extreme tension which is like 200g but increased at 100-110g is better and the buttons are good if you place them exactly where your fingers grip not in a random spot 5mm away.
My battlebeaver failed after 6 weeks of owning it (I paid $300 for it). Left stick drifting hard. I went to RMA it thinking they would repair it, but they said I had to pay for repairs and the warranty doesnt cover anything beyond 30 days. I said gross because its so expensive and failed so soon but whatever, let me use their repair request form.... the repair request form basically says this "Send it to us, we will conjure whatever bill we feel like conjuring to repair it. If you don't pay said bill, we will keep the controller." I was like wtf no estimate nothing? This company sucks to work with.
I got a Battle beaver dud unfortunately. Stick drift was pretty noticeable in the first week. Luckily within warranty. Spent $300. $265 + $35 for the boost (expedited build). The sticks didn't allow for KontrolFreeks so I bought and installed my own aftermarket sticks from ExtremeRate. Their customer service team is awesome though. Warranty coverage does suck. I have to buy a 2nd one because of issues with mine and repairs take a few weeks. After using it I don't want to use anything else but I can't afford to wait 2-4 weeks for repairs. I got my controller back after the initial repair and still had noticeable drift out of the box so maybe the case would help with that (went with cardboard box). Now there appears to be a short with the rear buttons because they don't always register 😭.
A short wouldn't make the buttons not register it would make them always on. The buttons just have dust or wear in the metal contact surfaces. Better to learn how to do your own repairs back buttons are very simple to replace.
I use a PS5 Battle Beaver now and also have a PS4 one. In my opinion it’s the pinnacle of custom controllers and it says a lot that most of the Call of Duty leagues uses them even though it’s sponsored by Scuf. Great Review! Looking forward to the tier list

Personally, I think that the battle beaver controls don't have engineering behind them, it's just a dualsense edge control with holes made with a drill and buttons glued together. I prefer aim or scuf, I even like hexgaming more than battle beaver
Battle Beaver is the best. Wait time is extremely long, but the quality is great and by the time you get it you almost forgot you ordered it 😂 so it’s a hella surprise when you finally get it. Their customer support is fantastic also. I haven’t had no where near as many controllers as Gamer Heaven but to be able to create a controller where I can put my favorite college team logo on the controller makes it worth it already. Not to mention that the buttons are so much better than paddles.
@@RealSpill222 it took a long ass time to get mine, but it was worth it to me. Battle Beaver has the best customization options. I mean you can see I’m an Iowa fan from my profile pick and BB took that symbol and put it inside of the controller where the Xbox symbol goes. That shit is too fye. I have a PS so I don’t use that controller anymore, but I had it for 3 years and it worked fine. And I play a lot. Way more than an average gamer. I will say though there was a time when I would go to hit the D pad or the back bumpers and instead of moving over one slot or whatever, it would instead just spazz out. I just let it sit and used a different controller and when I went to use it a couple days later it worked fine. So Idk what that was all about, but overall I’d give it an 8.9 out of 10. Considering price, wait time, and a minor mechanical issue. A long response, but I wanted to give you everything I experienced with it. The back buttons are way better than paddles. Trust that.
My ps5 battle beaver pro pick had its triangle button completely fail shortly after I got it. Everything else is good though, no stick drift after months of use. Sucks that I have to re map triangle to a dpad button though.
Super excited for the tier list! But um... did you see that Hex has a new Rival out with a "4" paddle design? I never got to feel the Ultimate but based on comparison to your review, the inner buttons have a mouse click feel as opposed to the plunger type you mentioned in your Hex Ultimate review.
how can I take my edge and get the joystick built with tension? im currently using control freaks black/hard rings and sometimes using 2 of them on one stick (right/aim) help???
Some words about Evil Controllers (since you mentioned them in this video): As I said in one of your previous videos, Evil is NOT a real competition. This company is the wildest trash of a company. I got my controller send to me broken from day one. I sent it back for repairs, and it came back STILL broken. Later they refused to give me a refund. So i needed to send it in a second time for repairs, which is super expensive (living in germany) Do not buy from Evil Controllers!
That makes me sad hearing your experience with evil controllers outside of scuf and battlebeaver, evil controllers are the only other company that offers dome sticks for xbox controllers that isnt crazy expensive

I ordered the Scuf ps5 reflex FPS and orders it on the 12th of this month, I had extras plus they give you 2 extra dome joysticks left one higher for aiming and the back paddles feel amazing and are so comfortable in your hand with the grip on the side and back is awesome, I can't believe your battle beaver took 3 months, scuf even emailed in the 16th of this month to say it's been shipped s email before saying there constructing it so really good info, and it arrived today the 20th that's very impressive I have waited longer for clothes from Italy which are in Europe? So yeah very happy with the info from them and extremely quick construction and delivery, I tried my scuf on Vanguard and it made a huge difference, the paddles are very easy to use and the 3 presets is a bonus they were £289 with free shipping as a freebie and tax so yeah very happy with my controller 👍😁😎🇬🇧
How does the stick tension compare to that of the elite series 2?? Also do you recommend getting use to a higher tension joystick? I currently have the elite and started using the heavy tension and I’m wondering if “more” tension would further help with accuracy lol

I bought a Battle Beaver on PS4, and I had to send it back several times for the D-pad buttons not working and for input lag when pressing the back buttons. I could not crouch up and down fast. I ended up with the sony attachment and have no issues spamming it. Have you noticed this?
Let me add my unwanted opinion lol, I owned a battlebeaver for 3 years before it finally decided to give out but when I bought it, it only took me a couple of weeks to receive it and it was hands down the best custom controller I've ever bought but with how they're doing things now I'd rather spend the extra $100 and get a scuf. Battlebeaver takes 12-14 weeks to receive unless you spend a extra $35 on a beaver booster to get your name pushed up in the list which is ridiculous imo.

Does anyone know of a controller with tough or easily replaceable analogs that also has instant triggers, I currently use a scuf fps controller and love everything about it except the stick drift. This is my 3rd one and they all get ridiculous stick drift when they get about a year old. Is there a better brand out there with the same features such as the instant triggers that may be tougher or able to fix analogs fast and easy from home?

You should do the pro build for Xbox and choose the z sticks because it's alot different then ps5 on Xbox the analog has a slower turn then the right due to factory design battle beaver doesn't tune the analogs they replace them fixing the issues unlike other company's and you should have read their website more thorough if you have an extra ideas battle beaver is willing to work out something to accommodate you which is alot more than other company's. Your review was only accurate due to your not accurately reading the company info
I have had nothing but great experiences with battle beaver, have owned multiple controllers, purchased c40 replacement modules and customer service is second to none.. For me though the Achilles Heel was the alps modules used in their controllers which are absolute ass, once you get drift, and you will, you have an extraordinarily expensive paper weight… Highly recommend thrustmaster eswap X and S pro’s and truly believe they are better controllers for the price and what you get if you can get comfortable with them and don’t care for controller aesthetics, their sticks are dead accurate as it’s not an alps module and have next to no drift months in, on top of that they are replaceable if drift develops..

I have both and I will recommend you battle beaver over hex any day specially if you get increase tension on the right thumbstick for fps games… I use all my fingers, my ring and the little in the back so I have the 3,4 button on the back lower and it’s perfect this way for me, I have access to everything all the time
Yo I need help. I've gone through 3 PS4 controllers this year alone. I don't want to pay full price for another one. What would you recommend a new controller a controller with paddles or something else. I play warzone alot. I just don't want to spend another 70 dollars for the fourth time this year.
I’m pretty sure controllers come with warranties I bought an Xbox 2 elite controller The right analog stick was getting stuck I shipped it off and got it back in a week They gave me a brand new one and I was able to keep all the accessories to the last one They just wanted me to ship the bear controller. I’m not sure about the warranty on PlayStation controllers but you might want to look it up.

The sticks didn't allow for KontrolFreeks so I bought and installed my own aftermarket sticks from ExtremeRate. Their customer service team is awesome though. Warranty coverage does suck. I have to buy a 2nd one because of issues with mine and repairs take a few weeks. After using it I don't want to use anything else but I can't afford to wait 2-4 weeks for repairs. I got my controller back after the initial repair and still had noticeable drift out of the box so maybe the case would help with that (went with cardboard box). Now there appears to be a short with the rear buttons because they don't always register 😭.
A short wouldn't make the buttons not register it would make them always on. The buttons just have dust or wear in the metal contact surfaces. Better to learn how to do your own repairs back buttons are very simple to replace.

I use a PS5 Battle Beaver now and also have a PS4 one. In my opinion it’s the pinnacle of custom controllers and it says a lot that most of the Call of Duty leagues uses them even though it’s sponsored by Scuf. Great Review! Looking forward to the tier list
What one do you prefer the ps4 one or the ps5 one going to get one for mw2 on pc and personally I prefer the the base dual shock 4 over the base dual shock 5

I don’t know much about custom controllers aside from the scuf and the beaver. Are there any PS5 controllers that give you an upgraded battery? I cannot justify spending $300 on a controller that dies after four hours
Personally, I think that the battle beaver controls don't have engineering behind them, it's just a dualsense edge control with holes made with a drill and buttons glued together. I prefer aim or scuf, I even like hexgaming more than battle beaver

Battle Beaver is the best. Wait time is extremely long, but the quality is great and by the time you get it you almost forgot you ordered it 😂 so it’s a hella surprise when you finally get it. Their customer support is fantastic also. I haven’t had no where near as many controllers as Gamer Heaven but to be able to create a controller where I can put my favorite college team logo on the controller makes it worth it already. Not to mention that the buttons are so much better than paddles.

@@RealSpill222 it took a long ass time to get mine, but it was worth it to me. Battle Beaver has the best customization options. I mean you can see I’m an Iowa fan from my profile pick and BB took that symbol and put it inside of the controller where the Xbox symbol goes. That shit is too fye. I have a PS so I don’t use that controller anymore, but I had it for 3 years and it worked fine. And I play a lot. Way more than an average gamer. I will say though there was a time when I would go to hit the D pad or the back bumpers and instead of moving over one slot or whatever, it would instead just spazz out. I just let it sit and used a different controller and when I went to use it a couple days later it worked fine. So Idk what that was all about, but overall I’d give it an 8.9 out of 10. Considering price, wait time, and a minor mechanical issue. A long response, but I wanted to give you everything I experienced with it. The back buttons are way better than paddles. Trust that.
My ps5 battle beaver pro pick had its triangle button completely fail shortly after I got it. Everything else is good though, no stick drift after months of use. Sucks that I have to re map triangle to a dpad button though.

Super excited for the tier list! But um... did you see that Hex has a new Rival out with a "4" paddle design? I never got to feel the Ultimate but based on comparison to your review, the inner buttons have a mouse click feel as opposed to the plunger type you mentioned in your Hex Ultimate review.
how can I take my edge and get the joystick built with tension? im currently using control freaks black/hard rings and sometimes using 2 of them on one stick (right/aim) help???

As I said in one of your previous videos, Evil is NOT a real competition. This company is the wildest trash of a company. I got my controller send to me broken from day one. I sent it back for repairs, and it came back STILL broken.
Later they refused to give me a refund. So i needed to send it in a second time for repairs, which is super expensive (living in germany)

I ordered the Scuf ps5 reflex FPS and orders it on the 12th of this month, I had extras plus they give you 2 extra dome joysticks left one higher for aiming and the back paddles feel amazing and are so comfortable in your hand with the grip on the side and back is awesome, I can't believe your battle beaver took 3 months, scuf even emailed in the 16th of this month to say it's been shipped s email before saying there constructing it so really good info, and it arrived today the 20th that's very impressive I have waited longer for clothes from Italy which are in Europe? So yeah very happy with the info from them and extremely quick construction and delivery, I tried my scuf on Vanguard and it made a huge difference, the paddles are very easy to use and the 3 presets is a bonus they were £289 with free shipping as a freebie and tax so yeah very happy with my controller 👍😁😎🇬🇧

I bought a Battle Beaver on PS4, and I had to send it back several times for the D-pad buttons not working and for input lag when pressing the back buttons. I could not crouch up and down fast. I ended up with the sony attachment and have no issues spamming it. Have you noticed this?

Let me add my unwanted opinion lol, I owned a battlebeaver for 3 years before it finally decided to give out but when I bought it, it only took me a couple of weeks to receive it and it was hands down the best custom controller I've ever bought but with how they're doing things now I'd rather spend the extra $100 and get a scuf. Battlebeaver takes 12-14 weeks to receive unless you spend a extra $35 on a beaver booster to get your name pushed up in the list which is ridiculous imo.

Does anyone know of a controller with tough or easily replaceable analogs that also has instant triggers, I currently use a scuf fps controller and love everything about it except the stick drift. This is my 3rd one and they all get ridiculous stick drift when they get about a year old. Is there a better brand out there with the same features such as the instant triggers that may be tougher or able to fix analogs fast and easy from home?

You should do the pro build for Xbox and choose the z sticks because it's alot different then ps5 on Xbox the analog has a slower turn then the right due to factory design battle beaver doesn't tune the analogs they replace them fixing the issues unlike other company's and you should have read their website more thorough if you have an extra ideas battle beaver is willing to work out something to accommodate you which is alot more than other company's. Your review was only accurate due to your not accurately reading the company info
I have had nothing but great experiences with battle beaver, have owned multiple controllers, purchased c40 replacement modules and customer service is second to none..
For me though the Achilles Heel was the alps modules used in their controllers which are absolute ass, once you get drift, and you will, you have an extraordinarily expensive paper weight…
Highly recommend thrustmaster eswap X and S pro’s and truly believe they are better controllers for the price and what you get if you can get comfortable with them and don’t care for controller aesthetics, their sticks are dead accurate as it’s not an alps module and have next to no drift months in, on top of that they are replaceable if drift develops..
I was looking at the eswap pro however for me the back button placement would not work.

I have both and I will recommend you battle beaver over hex any day specially if you get increase tension on the right thumbstick for fps games… I use all my fingers, my ring and the little in the back so I have the 3,4 button on the back lower and it’s perfect this way for me, I have access to everything all the time

Yo I need help. I've gone through 3 PS4 controllers this year alone. I don't want to pay full price for another one. What would you recommend a new controller a controller with paddles or something else. I play warzone alot. I just don't want to spend another 70 dollars for the fourth time this year.
I’m pretty sure controllers come with warranties I bought an Xbox 2 elite controller The right analog stick was getting stuck I shipped it off and got it back in a week They gave me a brand new one and I was able to keep all the accessories to the last one They just wanted me to ship the bear controller. I’m not sure about the warranty on PlayStation controllers but you might want to look it up.
3 month wait on my battle beaver never again scuff about 2 weeks 👍
