I put in 30 minutes of ab work and 40 minutes of everything else (calves,thighs,arms and booty) while this is hard it's not the hardest the most difficult thing for me is eating clean and avoid sugary foots and fast food :( I was wondering if any of you have any tips or tricks you'd like to share to help me get on the right track ❤️ I am currently using a visual representation of the pounds I lose and prizes for when I hit marks but it's hard with my diet... If you're so sure that Cassey's workouts aren't "effective" then go MAKE YOUR OWN fitness channel and leave all the Popster's alone in Cassey Heaven. She doesn't have all these subscribers and likes for no reason, Cassey has helped tons of people. The results are all over the internet.
I really felt it in my lower back the first time, but when I paid attention to my form I realized it's because I was shrugging my shoulders and flexing my back really hard instead of relying more on my triceps. Maybe you do something similar?
Yeah, people with a really strong core might be using those muscles to pull themselves up, which is why you would feel it in your lower back not your triceps. Try putting the focus of your weight into the palms of your hands, that really helped me to use my back to push up.
Wow! Im really proud of myself right now. Im an irish dancer so i dont ise my arms AT ALL so i have arms like noodles and legs like steel and im so proud that i didnt stop once! By far my fave workout vids cause just when i feel like i need to stop she says "dont stop now! Look how far youve come!!" or something and it makes me smile so i love you soo much and thanks for being so amazing and supportive! Xx
my forearms hurt much more than my triceps doing these... they didn't use to. Have my triceps gotten strong enough that my forearms are just wimpy now? hahah
I hate that people can be so negative about something so positive. If so many people feel the burn in their arms, isn't that testament to how effective the workout is? Plus, not everyone here is trying to build muscle. Honestly, I think most of us are here to lose some weight and help our bodies become healthier. Movement means calorie burn. It's a basic principle that is probably much more complicated than that but we sort of live by that formula and that's the way people such as myself like to think so that's that. Why be a bitch about her workout, pointing out flaws that aren't even there? Cassey has said it about a million times before, it seems easy because it's such a small movement, but she packs on the reps. It's easy take a few steps forwards, but try walking 20K without stopping and you'll feel it.
I think a song with some serious beats would be nice. Maybe summertime sadness or the new song by cher lloyd i wish I love that song! i LOVE your workouts because they don't Have you sweat but make you feel the burn
I was so happy when I found out this video was on the May Calendar today! I love the way this burns. I remember doing this video for the first time and not being able to do it but now I do this video whenever I really need an arm workout.
I have a little tip for all of those Popsters for whom it's too easy (I don't know who, but still): try lifting your legs up from the knee into a 90 degree angle, keeping your thighs on the floor, and then doing this. It's soo hard!!

I love this challenge. i've thus far been able to get through the whole thing without stopping but its sooo hard! I also found that putting your arms out into the normal push up position (but body still resting on the ground) really works the shoulders and biceps too! so do it twice and work different muscles :) Thanks Cassie!

Cassie says you should be able to feel it in your lower back and the top of your butt. This means you're doing it right
Or you could stop 7/8 of the way down, letting your chest stop just above the floor to make sure you use your arms instead of your back.

Out of all the blogilates workouts I've done, this is still by far my absolute favorite.
This was the first workout I ever finished way back when I started Blogilates :) So this has always been my favorite video.
