I've been anticipating this vlog for awhile and it delivered. I love Scotland's verdant, misty, mountainous, craggy, wild, sheep dotted landscape....lochs and powerful waterfalls too. This vlog does a good job capturing it. I'm really looking forward to your Wales trip and seeing the new camper van in action. I've never been.
It's an incredible place! Even on grey gloomy days the landscape is beautiful. I've not been to Wales neither. I can't wait! 🤍
First I want to tell you that I've discovered your channel through the last camper van video from Scotland and has been hooked ever since. I strongly believe that this monotonous, calming yet inspiring style of videos helped me navigate though the pandemic. So I just wanted to thank you for that. And to tell you that if you loose motivation, just remember that you have actually helped with one random girl's mental health more than you think, although unintentionally. Hi Brittany, I've been looking forward to this blog! My husband and I are planning a trip to Scotland next year to visit family and friends and want to go to the west coast (I'm originally from Dundee). I'm well acquainted with midges from my younger years, but I didn't know about the head nets - yesterday we watched your vlog from last year and went out right away and bought two! We won't be camping, but hope to do some nice hikes on Harris and Tweed, and wherever else we land on the way over to Dundee.
I would be interested to know how you plan the meals you cook in the van - what do you take with you, do you use any shortcuts, etc.?

This reminded me so much of my trip of when I went to Iceland a few years ago. It was full of beautiful nature and waterfalls and just tranquility and fun! Makes me really miss travelling, but hopefully I can book a trip to Scotland now, because this trip looked like exactly what I would want to do.

Kyle of Tongue hostel has great showers, and Inver Caravan Park in Dunbeath also had great facilities. Inver was the place with the bath!

How did the Acne trainers perform in the outdoors?
They weren't too bad. The upper is quite thin, so they are good for shorter walks, but I wouldn't wear them on a long walk.
