I was hoping to see a Lizardmen endgame scenario along the lines of "Enacting the Great Plan" where they could all auto confederate and start having stacks of dinos start pouring out of/start spawning at the Lustrian border.
@@Mr_Spaghetti They'd probably add something to dictate who they go to war with, but make it a bit extreme. Along the lines of, any faction not at war with all chaos aligned factions and Skaven will also have war declared on them.
These end game events add So Much replay value! Especially when we can customize what turn they occur. Keep adding more scenarios CA! I'd love a vampire coast or dark elf scenario.
Vampire coast end game could be really cool. Just imagine on all the major ports of the world spawn a lot of pirate ships. And luthor ai gets his mind in one piece. Hell they could just name the end game scenario "One Piece" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Another great End Game Scenario for the Skaven for a future update, “Vermintide”. Every Skaven Settlement, Lord and Undercity that has not yet been discovered or dealt with will continue to spawn full stacks of Skaven Armies to attack EVERY faction.
They would have to, Skaven overrunning the Warhammer world has long been a growing threat for almost as long as Warhammer has been around. It will be sick Plus it makes a hell of a lot more sense than a Dorf end game crisis 😂
I was thinking a way to do the vermintide is get every single settlement undercities and script for the ai can only build the vermintide building, or if ca is feeling horrible and gives the undercities to ikit just blow them up

True. In the last game, after you reached a certain strenght, you just steam rolled everything and the game become boring. Not a surprise that if you look at achievements you get on steam for finishing long games. You can see that usually less than 2% of the total player count ever done it.
"The End Times" Ultimate Chaos Endgame is gonna be lit. Armies swarming from Chaos Wastes and Daemons uniting to bring the Old World's doom is gonna be truly a nightmare mode. Can't wait!
This is it. It got boring to only fight Chaos Warriors of the past - but legions of all 4 daemons and then undivided daemons THEN the new Warriors of Chaos, THEN Beastmen and Norsca THEN Skaven (hopefully) at the same time...creaming my knickers.
This was a good idea CA, well done. Also, I appreciate that you gave us so much control over the system. Anytime you let players customize their experience to that degree is definitely appreciated. I'm having a blast with the game right now, it feels good to have everyone together under one very big roof 😀.
In addition to those endgame scenarios I would love Invasion Events, smaller invasion that would occure depending on some campaign condition, let's say a non lizard faction hold most of lustria then there is a big chance for a rise of the lizardmen. If the lizardmen control Lustria and you are the lizardmen then it's more likelly to be a conquista of Empire and Bretonians faction comming to settle in the gold filled land of the Lustria Having a smal dark elf fleet of 2-3 army spawn at sea close to the empire and starting pillaging my shores as the empire if I get too big too fast maybe
That is a very good idea but all good ideas will boil down to the same issue...The campaign aspect of managing economy/armies doesnt support these ideas because It is easy to become ultra rich and you will just autoresolve anything after first 25-40 turns....whatever "good events" they come up with, will not add challenge...they will be easy to deal with and will become an annoyance because at the end of the day, you are rich with unstoppable armies and all you have to do is push end turn, get to the spawning armies and autoresolve. Which is why everytime they trie to do something like that people complain about "magic spawns".
@@dimel1347 I see what you mean, that's why I play with mod to have unit cap (it solve that problem greatly as you need more millitary buildings to get more elit units) And event at turn 30 / 50 or every 25 turn would make the game more chalenging as you may have super strong armies but you still need to defend your empire from all sides
@@dimel1347 i think that the problem would be mitigated somewhat if they spawn far away and slowly make their way to the are where they are supposed to be like conquista spawning in the old world or lizardmen spawning far to the western edges of lustria
Nice! I hope they take a look at what other games (hem Stellaris!) are doing to give life to their campaigns. Late game, but also mid game and early game events could give life to the game. For example, upon taking the black pyramid, an event (selected at random among severals) would happen (including the big tomb king invasion). Basically, adding some scenario into it. The ogres could unite under a khan, the bretonnians could launch a crusade against one of your cities etc...
Great thinking! What really is going to happen: A single army of Oversized Rats armed to the teeth is going through an endgame scenario in a single turn with Ambush stance... Some other ideas for End game scenarios: THE Vermintide. All skaven Unite under the strongest faction and spawn armies... Enact the Plan; All Lizardmen Unite, get the final Level of geomantic web and spawn armies. Return to glory of Aenarion: High Elves Unite and go berserk. Witch King's Revenge: Dark Elves unite and go berserk. Begin the Age Of Sigmar: Empire summons all the Elector counts and finally answers The Nation's Call. Anything would go well to be honest.
Love how it's not only Chaos invasion now. I love how I can leave a bigger selection of events on so I don't know ahead of time which one of them is going to trigger. And the fact that you're planning to add more events just makes it even better. Thank you, CA. This is gonna be the best Total War game so far!
@@kp-legacy-5477 I think the chaos invasion is always here or maybe it's just all the deamons factions + the reworked warriors of chaos who makes the chaos invasion (they will add a chaos secanario anyway, but probably more interesting than the one of warhamemer 1 and 2)
We really need a Vermitide / Skaven end game scenario, especially when Skavenblight gets a proper faction update. It's one of the classics with Skaven overrunning every city. If I had to add one more, maybe the Ogres and something related to the Great Maw.
The Black Pyramid scenario seems super fun and difficult. Depending on who you are, you would have to cut through hordes of fully stacked tomb kings and fight to the mid/bottom right of the world map (Good luck Malekith) and then successfully capture the black Pyramid. Wow! seems like a worthy endeavor and definitely adds replay value.
I think the Black Pyramid scenario should be Nagash awakening to take over the world instead of whichever undead AI happens to be controlling it at the time.
The wood elves scenario seems like true hell. Imo wood elves are the most annoying enemy to fight and now they give them double ammo? Yeah, I am not gonna chose that scenario any time soon.
I think they still trigger in multiplayer but you can’t customize when/what event happens. At least that’s what i read online. Me and my buddy are still only at turn 60 in our campaign so we’ll see
@@pimpdaddyg2081 We had the black pyramid at 110, and the Wild hunt is coming at 120. 3 player campaign, Tomb Kings, Wood elf and Vampire count, maybe you have to play the specific faction to trigger the scenario

Imagine the Vermin Tide, the Chaos Lords apocalypse, To Hell or High water vampire Coast, the Elector Counts unite to one goal, the Beastmen's Rampage, the Lizardmen's start of the Great Plan, the Dark elves world domination, High elves world conquest, Grand Cathay's expansion of the Great Bastion, Norscans' Great March, Kislev's Winter is coming, so many possibilities also the chaos that will ensue if all of them are activated at once
It would be really cool to have the ability as turns go on to be tempted to accept gifts from chaos that start to taint your Empire. Over time it effects your diplomatic relations and unit options s as you become more corrupted.
Well there's already the occasional event that basically does this, though their effects are rather small and short lived. Would be nice to see bigger dilemmas the further into a campaign you get.
While I'm not a fan of the End Times narrative as-is, having it play out systematically as an optional surmountable threat would be awesome. The Breaking of the Great Vortex, the Vermintide erupting from the ground, a Storm of Chaos coming from the North, the Return of Nagash, etc. It could make for some interesting faction allegiances if such parameters weren't hardwired in, as an option.
One of the best additions to the game. I hope they add individual sliders to the scenarios as well as mutiplayer support. Can't wait for what else ist to come (Nagash rising maybe?)
Ideas for some other scenarios Vermintide: works like black pyramid but with skavenblight and also underempire will grow 5 times faster than the usual 10% chance with maxed out building Sigmar reborn: empire unifies instantly under sigmar reborn ( a new super unit ) and they start conquering all the factions that arent higth elves or dwarfs with full stacks of religiously oriented armies The true phonix king : malekith instantly anexes all dark elf factions in nagarond .if any dark elf faction will own shrine of assuruyan ( a province in ulthuan) malekith will become more powerfull than ever by entering the flame of assuryan once more and attempt to conquer the world . If dark elves does not own the shrine malekith will launch a massive invasion of ulthuan untill he takes the shrine or dies Champion of khaine: works like da biggest waagh but for tyrion and he takes the sword of khaine The final stage of the great plan : lizardman attempt to extreminate chaos by landing in norsca with very powerfull armies and get bonuses against chaos + no penalties for atrition

I can just imagine what skaven end game would be, Vermintides spawning from random and major armies raising from skaven territory based on their factions.
"Where march you, men of Riekland, where carry you halberd and sword... We march to war for our Emperor, and Sigmar our savior and lord... Tomorrow we go to war, to face the hordes of Chaos... Tomorrow we will be buried, in cold graves that await us... And when the fighting is done, and the sun goes down at night... Hear my prayers, save my soul, and take me to Sigmar's Light..." - Reikland soldier's song
Now with some time behind these, these endgame scenarios have SO much potential for story telling, varied gameplay and variety. They are fine in their current state of “fight a bunch of enemies.” But they can be amazing ways to perpetuate lore, provide quest and even awesome items
My biggest dream in future is that (perhaps even as some kind of paid DLC or expansion pack type deal) we get massive, world map-altering events which occur every 50 turns or so and completely alter the shape of the campaign, building up to the endgame scenario to make a different experience each time. You could get Morrslieb being pulled out of the sky and smashing Lustria, the Black Pyramid opening and spawning Nagash himself, Gelt + Mannfred creating the Auric Bastion, Valten being discovered as the reborn Sigmar and uniting all the realms of men behind a demi-god leader, Grimgor being recognized as the herald of Gork and Mork and leading a Great Waagh into the East... And this is just stuff ripped from the godawful End Times story, imagine what the talents at CA could come up with!
Dear developers, we are really looking forward to the opportunity to include several crises, as well as the addition of this option for multiplayer! Your loyal fans love you!
I would love to see these scenarios for all factions. Imagine having to deal with hordes of khorne or legions of vampire coast. There is definetely going to be a mod for that if not.
CA what you are doing with this Warhammer franchise is simply one (maybe the?) of the best strategy game i've played so far in my life. Thanks a lot for the work done yet and thanks a lot for what will coming next!
I'd imagine if they added a Bretonnia scenario, it'd be that the Brets launch a mega crusade of some kind. That'd be fun to fight against as a Destruction/Chaos/Undead faction!
Kinda surprised there is no Chaos endgame scenario? Or is that just automatically always on? Also, it would be amazing (but maybe impossible) if the world map itself could see changes during an endgame event, like some sort of cataclysm creating ravines, rifts and cracks in the earth, forcing armies to take different paths, or even opening chaos gates from which armies spawn. Or even better, some way for the awesome aesthetic of the Chaos realms to be implemented into the Immortal Empires world map, to bring the final endgame battle to the chaos lords own realms (WITHOUT the minigames, just the visuals of their realms). Basically what im saying is, it would be cool if these endgame scenarios ALSO could add the smaller campaigns objectives, like one scenario for the High Elves where they actually start preforming the great vortex ritual, or one for Kislev where they actually hunt for the great bear god, perhaps releasing it unto the world as a unique enormous 1-unit army. The possibilities..
Love the thoughts here I hope we keep seeing new stuff for this. Major replayability impact with the first iteration thank you guys for all your hard work
Pretty sure we‘re going to get a chaos invasion endgame scenario. The reason it‘s not in right now is probably that it will have to come in several flavors (Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeench and Slanesh invasions as well as Undivided), which makes it more complex. Plus, I suspect they are planning to add more Chaos LLs (maybe one more in each of the Monogod factions). It makes sense to create an endgame only once all the lords of the faction are in game, so that they don’t have to rework it everytime they add another lord.
Not specialy unit (maybe giant goat riders for the joke) BUT yes Dawi needs a buff. Maybe a special trait only for Tier 3 or higher units who make special armor AGAINST peircing armor (50% Piercing armor reduction) because Dwarfs are the better smith.
@@shiroegenshiken1371 im not in the goat riders team, but not against either My little dream is to get shard dragons, rune guardians and rune golems, some kind of monstrous infantry unit And Doomseekers, slayers with weapons tied to their arms withs chains... you know... little ginger mohawk Kratos unit... it would be a dream coming true and i could die happy after that
I already see the ultimate End Game Challenge they talked about being the End Times of Warhammer Lore where Undead, Chaos, Skaven, etc. all get powerful instead of just one faction. But this time Sigmar will prevail. For the Empire😆
I heard that there’s a possible scenario where EVERY End Game scenario happens at once. That could be pretty fun to deal with, or at the very least watch the AI go ham on each other.
I want a Polar Warp gates one where, like in ages past, Innumerable armies of chaos spew from the north and south of the map to swarm the world in two crashing waves, Especially gives buildup time as you see them melt everything elae
I wonder if they're going to add Nagash as a DLC Lord, and if he brings his own End game scenario. Would be cool to fight the Big Bone Daddy Nagash himself
A High Elf "The sun never sets on the elven empire" end game scenario where are all the Asur factions around the world gain armies and become aggressive all while being led by Sword of Khaine wielding Tyrion would be amazing. Something similar can be done for the Lizardmen. "The Great Plan" where the younger races are either subjugated or purged. Basically following the advise of the ancient races is no longer optional lol.
So what happens if you are playing as the same faction whom triggers the end game scenario? Ex: playing tomb kings for the black pyramid (and you control the pyramid). Do you become the end game scenario?
Some Changes i would Like for later on: End Game scenario for every faction. The ability (in the menu) to exculde end Game scenarios, where you are Allied with that faction.
Reminds me of endgame crises from Stellaris. I love that they're also objective based and not just random armies spawn on the map. makes the map feel more "alive" and interesting. Good job CA. Add 1000 of these :D
Would be nice if several of these could trigger per playthrough, scaling in difficulty depending on how much time you already spent playing (like in Stellaris). And, of course, we need a Chaos invasion scenario. As I understand, that isn't a thing at the moment? A little strange given Warhammer 3's overall focus on Chaos. I hope it becomes an addition soon.
Because it was the first two games' original scenario, so they've worked on other races first to give Immortal Empires some variety. Besides, there are so many Chaos lords now that a new endgame scenario will require some additional work beyond "Spawn a lot of armies".
@Thisis Gettinboring I’m fairly certain it’s gone in immortal empires because their isn’t anything to adjust a chaos invasion in the settings so they haven’t implemented it yet
I'm not convinced this isn't the case - My current Valkia playthrough is dealing with Da Biggest Waaagh, but I did get a notification that the wild hunt ended at one point, so it is possible that multiple trigger.
@@rebeccaverrall3658 The Wild Hunt one is a generic Wood Elf event that, I think, has been there since Mortal Empires. It's not an endgame scenario, it just triggers the Athel Loren factions to become more aggressive and attack their neighbors for a bit until they stop. I also had that trigger in my current Empire playthrough of Immortal Empires, and it triggered around turn 40, way sooner than any endgame scenario could (I have it set to trigger on turn 100-150). So what you saw likely wasn't an endgame scenario.
I can already tell that they’re saving the Skaven (a very obvious end game opponent) for a future expansion. Possibly Thanquol/Verminlords? Either way can’t wait to try and fight back the Vermintide one day
I can think of a few cool Ebdgame scenario titles Reclaim the Elven colonies - HE Enslave the Immortal World - DE Everything for the Horned Rat -Skaven Eternal Grail Crusade - Breton Inact the Great Plan - Lizardmen
a end game scenario called end times which makes deamons beastmen chaos norsca and skaven all go berserk and ally each other against others would be so majestic. all other factions like vampire counts and empire would have relationship boosts to ally against hordes of chaos.
Sigmar Heldenhammer: "Aye, together. I cannot do this alone; I need my sword-brothers with me. Swear with me, my friends. Swear that everything we do from this day forth will be in service of this vision of a united empire of man."
Oh good they are working on adding more. I was greatly disturbed that there was no vermintide yet, but maybe some of them are getting some extra oomph and so will need more time? No chaos anymore ether but considering all the new factions that makes sense
Because it was the first two games' original scenario, so they've worked on other races first to give Immortal Empires some variety. Besides, there are so many Chaos lords now that a new endgame scenario will require some additional work beyond "Spawn a lot of armies".
I’d love these to turn into mid game crisis and then release some major epic end game stuff with chaos and skaven where there are quest battles and maybe going into the realms of chaos
I was really excited for these after hearing about them from partnered content creators before IE launched. Sadly, rather than improving my campaign experience, the one end game scenario which I've seen so far has instead caused me to abandon a campaign entirely. The scenario was "A Grudge Too Far" (the dwarf one), and I was expecting it to be a lot like the chaos invasion in TWW2, which I really enjoyed. The pop-up that displays when it begins even mentions that the dwarfs are going to settle every grudge at once, which sounded really cool... But after noticing on the map that some of my allies weren't at war with the dwarfs, I checked the diplomacy menu and was dismayed to realise that the dwarfs had only declared war on me. It would've been bad enough if they'd just prioritised attacking me, as that would still be an example of anti-player-bias, but this is even worse. The way that this has been implemented means that rather than finding it easier to put aside our differences and ally with other factions against a common enemy, as was possible in TWW2, that end game scenario (and presumably the others as well) does the opposite, as it forces diplomatic penalties onto the player. Factions who naturally like the dwarfs (such as the Empire) will not be pleased that the player is fighting them, even though the player has no choice in the matter. At the bare minimum, that scenario should force the dwarfs to break all their treaties with non-dwarf factions. Ideally, they should go to war with all non-dwarf factions. If you think that wouldn't challenge the player enough, then give them more armies and/or more buffs. Don't just make the most obvious example of anti-player-bias that I've seen yet in TW Warhammer. I think IE is amazing, and I was expecting some bugs, as it is only a beta, but I worry that this isn't merely a bug, but an intentional design choice. Hopefully it will get fixed and put my fears to rest.
Its the end game, embrace the nature of it. Its supposed to be campaign ending. I assume you were playing Skaven? To abandon the campaign like you said?
@@jhunt592 I was playing Ghorst, actually, and was having fun befriending Imrik & Cathay, and fighting Chaos. I'm not a particularly skilled player, and even though it was only normal/normal difficulty, I was a long way from getting enough settlements to complete the long campaign victory. However, I had left the end game scenario settings on their defaults when starting my campaign, because I thought they would function like the chaos invasion in TWW2. Due to the game being on normal/normal, and because I was playing Ghorst (who's really strong at the moment), I could surely have defeated the dwarfs if I wanted to. It just felt like a big step backwards, after spending the whole campaign trying to be a friendly necromancer, to have all my allies getting annoyed because I'm fighting someone they like, and unwilling to join the war on my side because the dwarfs were considered the strongest factions (even though Ghorst's zombies are super strong, the game doesn't realise this, so my strength ranking was pretty low).

I hope there will be endgame scenarios for ALL type of factions (including the Empire) in the future. Like the Sword of Khaine for the elves, Crusades for Bretonnia or the Vermintide for Skaven. Empires are immortal, but peace isn't, after all!
I find it strange that the Skaven scenario wasn't done first, considering that they are the race that has to go to war occasionally just because of population density.
My hope is that they did some basic ones first (spawn armies and get a few buffs), and kept the more creative concepts for later because they take more work.

@@dimel1347 I see what you mean, that's why I play with mod to have unit cap (it solve that problem greatly as you need more millitary buildings to get more elit units)
And event at turn 30 / 50 or every 25 turn would make the game more chalenging as you may have super strong armies but you still need to defend your empire from all sides
@@dimel1347 i think that the problem would be mitigated somewhat if they spawn far away and slowly make their way to the are where they are supposed to be like conquista spawning in the old world or lizardmen spawning far to the western edges of lustria
When Thanqoul inevitably appears, I bet the Vermintide end game scenario will come with, yes yes
What really is going to happen:
A single army of Oversized Rats armed to the teeth is going through an endgame scenario in a single turn with Ambush stance...
Some other ideas for End game scenarios:
THE Vermintide.

It would be really cool to have the ability as turns go on to be tempted to accept gifts from chaos that start to taint your Empire. Over time it effects your diplomatic relations and unit options s as you become more corrupted.
I experienced this exact opportunity as Empire, though I'm not exactly sure if it was specific to them or not.
Well there's already the occasional event that basically does this, though their effects are rather small and short lived. Would be nice to see bigger dilemmas the further into a campaign you get.
*SIGMAR GUIDES US!*

Vermintide: works like black pyramid but with skavenblight and also underempire will grow 5 times faster than the usual 10% chance with maxed out building
Sigmar reborn: empire unifies instantly under sigmar reborn ( a new super unit ) and they start conquering all the factions that arent higth elves or dwarfs with full stacks of religiously oriented armies
The true phonix king : malekith instantly anexes all dark elf factions in nagarond .if any dark elf faction will own shrine of assuruyan ( a province in ulthuan) malekith will become more powerfull than ever by entering the flame of assuryan once more and attempt to conquer the world . If dark elves does not own the shrine malekith will launch a massive invasion of ulthuan untill he takes the shrine or dies
Champion of khaine: works like da biggest waagh but for tyrion and he takes the sword of khaine

Honestly I do find the prospect of it stupid, especially since if I recall the Skaven softened up everyone for Chaos to chomp all over
I can just imagine what skaven end game would be, Vermintides spawning from random and major armies raising from skaven territory based on their factions.
Countless Menace from Below, on a global scale. Even Chaos forces are terrified by that.
"From a mild thorn in your side to a fully fledged Lego in your heel"

The vermintide!!! Truly an amazing work you guys are doing with tww3. I'm having a blast with this game
In greenskins scenario I expected the line “to counter violence with ultraviolence”. It would be quite thematic.

I love these! I hope a Skaventide event is added in the future!
We already know the lore centric endgame is definitely the end times, Chaos vs Everyone!!
I wonder if they’ll add in a Bretonnia endgame called Errantry War, where countless armies of knights ride out to do glorious battle.
"Return of the Lady" Their goddess returns, inspiring the crusade to end all crusades

The Black Pyramid is basically just a Nagash endgame scenario without Nagash in-game to lead it yet.

Surprised Archaeon was completely cut out as an endgame scenario.
Because it was the first two games' original scenario, so they've worked on other races first to give Immortal Empires some variety. Besides, there are so many Chaos lords now that a new endgame scenario will require some additional work beyond "Spawn a lot of armies".
Awsome, but how do i edit the end game scenarios in multiplayer?
How can it be an intentional design choice when in the video it's implied the opposite.
