I wanna know what must have gone through Ryan's head when he found out this particular story had been picked for an RTAA. Idk what the process for selecting the RTAA clips is (ie if Jordan just did whatever he wanted, or if specific clips had to be approved for RTAA) but surely under all his smug narcissism part of Ryan's brain must have been terrified that instead of being forgotten inside a much longer podcast, this lie was now isolated and on showcase as easy evidence should things come back to bite him. Iirc, theres one where him and Michael get into an argument about catching an early flight or something and hes like amazed Michael wouldnt want to stay wherever they were and not "deal with the wife and kids for a bit longer"
"Our flight was at 8:25 and we got home at, like, 1:30" "....I missed that one" The silence between what Geoff said and Ryan's response really cements what he was doing between those times.
Oh shoot I can’t believe I was this blind! Ryan said his flight was at 8:25 and Geoff said their flight was at 8:25. They were suppose to go back on the same flight. Of course they were, they all lived in Texas, so they probably all got tickets together! They were initially probably going to depart together as well. But Ryan was a no show. Hence their teasing and suspicions.
I’m with Geoffs suspicion on this one. Listening to him talk I was like dude I fly enough (and still not nearly as much as them) to know that you can just save your flight pass as an image or screenshot it as a backup to having it in your phones pass wallet. Loading wheel? Like sure if you’re using the airline app... but even then, save it as an image. No loading. And pretty much all of them have upgraded flyer miles or rankings because of their frequency of travel. They all should know this shit by now, especially with them booking their flights so much. It’s impossible to not know.

For the defenders who almost seem to be confused: cheating on your spouse and parent of your children with consenting adults: not cool. Worth being cancelled over? Debatable, I suppose, seeing as people CONSIDERABLY more famous than Ryan Haywood have done so and remained in their fame. ... Texting MINORS who adore you and want your attention more than anything else, being sexual with them even if it's 'just over text'? That's called grooming. And it should ruin people who do it because it's despicable.
What Ryan did is inexcusable but this actually happened to me. Uber driver called me and said I had to cancel because I was on a one way street and she didn’t want to go around a different path.
You know what I just remembered? There’s an episode of Cloudberry Kingdom where Gavin jokingly asks Ryan, “When’s the last time you’ve had sexual intercourse?” and Ryan quickly replies with “I’m not going to answer that question.” At the time I chalked it up to just another person not being comfortable divulging personal information of what they do in private, which is totally understandable. Given the context of the scandal, it makes his response seem defensive and way more disturbing. I think that video was released before the first incident happened, but again, everything he said just hits different now.
You're reading WAY too deep into unrelated and coincidental statements. If Jason Statham ended up killing a home intruder in self defense, people would be like 'he prepared for this' and whatever. The memes wouldn't stop. But he's an actor. Not saying he isn't actually a tough guy. It's just, he's playing characters. It's fiction. Ryan Haywood played a psychopathic caricature of himself. It wasn't him "secretly admitting" anything. You people come off like you have a major in Psychology. All of this is just coincidence. Plus, half of these supposed "consciousness leaks" and "evidence" of him "admitting" wrongdoing are actually YEARS before he actually did anything. It's just speculative fluff and misinformation.
@@TheDylandProductions So true. I've see almost every and all statements by Ryan involving sex be considered aged like milk. I'm not saying that every statement of the ilk has aged fine and was 100% coincidental, but ones like this, that's a reach. Not every one-off statement made by him was an admission of guilt.
@@noahwright8109 Agreed. I actually think nearly none of it was an admission of guilt. All of these others are just coincidence. It's like half of these "fans" were unaware of AH's brand of humor half a decade ago.
@@TheDylandProductions You make a good point, but what about that one time 12 years ago, when Ryan opened a can of diet coke while ominously looking at the camera? That was probably the biggest red flag that he was truly evil.
The other massive tell to this story is the ridiculously specific times Ryan manages to remember. Nobody says "I got home at 5:55." If they did they'd say they landed at about 6. He padded the story with totally extraneous details so it wouldn't come off as suspiciously.
ive been listening to a podcast dissecting alex jones' lies, and this is something Jones does as well. you can gauge how much of an alex jones story is a lie by how much useless detail he puts into it
Was just thinking this. Too much detail about a story is often an indicator that it's a fabrication. Not always, as some people have brains that work this way, but often.
That’s a bit far fetched, sometimes you look at the time when you want to complain and you do the math of how much people wasted your time. When it IS your fault, you usually ballpark it
when this rtaa came out I knew it was fake. I just thought he was making it up for laughs. like I knew there's no way that this was real. they do bits all the time, so I thought everyone else was just going along with it. crazy.
Oh man, knowing what we know now, this is harrowing to watch. He never missed his flight, he was never running late, no one forgot to come pick him up. He was cheating on his wife and family... Heartbreaking really.
Cause Ryan would insist on having an extra day to himself. I think his excuse/what they assumed was just to have time away from the family for a day. Instead he used it to shack up with fans.
I know I'm late but. Lots of reasons: 1) Limited selection on flights within the alloted timeframe. Maybe you need 6 six seats and every plane only has 5 or less. 2) Individuals may want to go as tourists in the area where the event was. The "Ryan the Slide Guy" meme was born of them goofing off in Germany after an event, but instead of the whole group it could be just one person. 3) Less likely, but financial timing. If you're tight on cash or waiting on a reimbursement to process you may not have the funds at that moment to book both there and back flights, and by the time you get the funds for both one of either there/back with the rest of the crew is full. 4) Usually, if a business wants you to go out and come back on a certain flight they'll pay for it to ensure that it is possible and then it's YOUR fault if you're late for whatever reason, rather than being blamable on the airline for not having enough seats when the employee would order tickets. But, flying is expensive, so paying for 6+ tickets so EVERYONE in AH could go would be quite a financial cost. Just some points.
They were booked together. Ryan ditched out on them, hence Geoff being suspicious of him during the whole conversation. Geoff probably just thought Ryan slept in, and was trying to appear less dumb, but I don't think anyone at RT knew what he was up to.
People trying to connect the dots here lmao. Look, people like Geoff were slightly suspicious, but they also act like this a lot. They poke fun, and question things to try to make more out of a story then just he missed a flight. I can see why after the fact people say “well Geoff seems suspicious.” If none of this happened though, none of it would add up to anyone average. It’s the things we notice when going back. You can do this with anyone that gets caught, or something happens to them. There is always clues to really everything, but until the details of the clues are kinda brought out, the rest isn’t fill able. Yeah Ryan left a lot of clues once he was caught, but before there wasn’t many. Ryan was this character that always acted like this, but the twist is his character became true. That is enough clues on its own, but no one saw really any of it before hand. If they were a suspicious they could’ve looked way more into it. He didn’t get caught till the people he was with exposed him. So realistically none of them really knew anything. It’s the same thing when people do something, and then something that they don’t like happens, but they tell themselves the obvious signs, and say “maybe if I did this things would be different.” It’s nothing more then a way people cope with stuff, and try to blame themselves, or others. I’m not saying people are blaming Geoff, or anything. I’m just saying this type of behavior aligns into that category of “false sense of hope, or false sense of blame.” So I can see why so many feel that way, but you can do that with literally anything, or any form of events that happen.
They knew. They all knew. The apologies they gave was to distant themselves from Ryan. If they defend him and people actually look more into RT members ill doings then they would all go down. Ryan was the peak of the iceberg.

I remember how someone mentioned on an episode of something that Ryan liked staying behind another day or two after they traveled for work... Like it became so regular he couldn't lie about it and started making some bs excuse about using a mini vaca.
Ryan taking notes from Walter White with the "The more details in the lie, the more convincing it is!" He really over-explains and rambles about a simple "Oh I missed a flight." I think deep down, I always knew something was weird about this story. Obviously I had no idea what was actually happening, and I brushed it off because "Haha, funny story", but something really did feel off for me, like just a touch beyond reality. I thought maybe he exaggerated details to make the story more funny. Man, It's crazy how all the signs were there, but we just couldn't see that something was actually going on. It's gross how public he made his lies. So smug thinking he would never get caught.

Can someone explain what point Geoff was making when he points out how his flight left at 8:25 and arrived at 1:25, to which Ryan says “I missed that one.”? I’m not sure exactly how it’s significant, I don’t quite understand.
Nah I just think Geoff was just making a random point to insert a joke-ish 'sympathy' since Jeremy laughed, because: Everyone's flight is at 8:25am (Ryan as well 0:45) and the others got back home 5.05 hours later (since they arrive at 1:30pm). From Ryan's story, he got home around 5:55pm (1:57), so it assumes that he took a 12:25pm flight, therefore staying in the airport for another additional 4 hours for missing his original 8:25am flight

Yeah like seriously at that point call a taxi service or talk to a hotel nearby for a shuttle pickup. I got stranded alone as a 22 year old female at 3am in the Boston airport with this scenario where Lyft and Uber couldn’t come (was mostly my bad, I had no idea that their airport has hyper specific zones for ride share pickup, which I was not standing at). At that point, I just called a taxi. Not that it mattered, because I took a shady ride with the coolest dude ever in a van (jolly round man in his 60’s with the thickest lure grey mustache and fez hat, party string lights and a Hulu girl bobble head on the dash playing Slavic polka tunes). He worked with Uber and I verified his plate, but he came out of no where. I totally digress but yeah you have other options.
I’m like 3 years late but finding out they turned his alibi into an RTAA was actually the moment I cut off ties with the company. I respected the heck out of them for just dumping Ryan in his entirety once it got out, but I needed space to handle the fact that my favorite AH and RT moments were created or involved with a serial cheater who exploited fans. And now that they’re closing in May, I don’t know what think. It hurts.
just curious to know, how exactly was this covering it up? comments are saying this is an elaborate alibi that geoff and everyone was a part of to make up this missing his flight story but how does this equate to him having sex with the fan?
It's far too long to fully explain in a RUclips comment. But basically, multiple fans came out and said Ryan did sexting or had sex with them. Two of them even made videos on it. A bunch of them wrote "essays" on it basically. Many of these essays included proof like a picture the girl had of Ryan in their hotel room, many DMs were also featured in several of the essays. So we can be fairly sure that he sexted and slept with at least some fans in the cases where evidence was provided. There are also allegations where no or less evidence was provided, so it's unclear whether every single allegation is legit or not. So we don't know the exact number because some could be fake and other people may never come forward, but we can be relatively sure it happened based on the fans who did provide evidence. I believe there were something like 20+ allegations though. One of the people who provided evidence (including DMs with Ryan) mentioned him doing something suggestive on an Off Topic that you could go back and watch (like licking a cupcake and saying he was thinking of her while doing it) if you can find that video. And I THINK (though I'm not sure anymore since I looked into all of this in 2020 when it actually happened) that one of the people alluded to this story being bullshit. Or they gave a time they had sex that lined up with this story or something. I don't remember the specifics. If you want to know more you can look into it yourself. I suggest Reddit where there is one post which collected all of the allegations and links to the evidence of them together.
The flight he missed was a flight home from a convention. This also happened to be a convention where he want and had sex with an underage fan. Aka. He also likely didn’t want to accuse Ryan in case he was wrong and it made every interaction they had going forward worse.
Obviously we now know that Ryan was, and still is, an absolute scumbag, but it makes sense why Geoff didn’t just outright accuse him with no proof.
This is a mind numbingly stupid thing to say
Probably. Which, cheating by itself is deplorable, but not something you can fire someone over or report to the police. I'm sure Geoff naturally suspected his cheating would be with a woman his age, and if he had any indication it was fans/minors he'd have gotten police involved asap.

I’m with Geoffs suspicion on this one. Exactly they all fly for a fuckin living before TV pandemic atleast. Ryan is also too smart and tech savvy to not be able to figure something out.

Even considering absolutely nothing else, why would you, as a content creator group, not book everyone’s flight together both ways?
Businesses tend to let employees find/book their own stuff.
Cause Ryan would insist on having an extra day to himself. I think his excuse/what they assumed was just to have time away from the family for a day. Instead he used it to shack up with fans.
I know I'm late but.
Lots of reasons:
1) Limited selection on flights within the alloted timeframe.

Can someone explain what point Geoff was making when he points out how his flight left at 8:25 and arrived at 1:25, to which Ryan says “I missed that one.”?
I’m not sure exactly how it’s significant, I don’t quite understand.
Nah I just think Geoff was just making a random point to insert a joke-ish 'sympathy' since Jeremy laughed, because:
Everyone's flight is at 8:25am (Ryan as well 0:45) and the others got back home 5.05 hours later (since they arrive at 1:30pm).
From Ryan's story, he got home around 5:55pm (1:57), so it assumes that he took a 12:25pm flight, therefore staying in the airport for another additional 4 hours for missing his original 8:25am flight
Geoff was just mocking him by saying they all left and arrived home earlier than him

damn just goin in with the title
just curious to know, how exactly was this covering it up? comments are saying this is an elaborate alibi that geoff and everyone was a part of to make up this missing his flight story but how does this equate to him having sex with the fan?
Aka. This story about missing his flight is actually a lie he made up to cover for the fact he was actually fucking an underage fan at the time he should have been flying.

@@ineedanewname4844 Bruh they're obviously not striking their own videos you goon 💀💀💀 I'm obviously referring to re-uploads such as this one, they're going to copyright strike it to sever Ryan's connection to the company.
It was, in fact, a flying failure
Ryans tell when lying yell i dont know
Hindsight is 20-20
How do you know it’s a cover?
why are the comments saying that everyone knew ryan was lying when they didnt?? if you do think that they knew then maybe dont watch rt/ah content?
Why was anyone surprised? do people not remember the meg turney shit a few years ago or am I insane?
What happened? I'm bearly finding out about Ryan
@@rudolph9015 He was sexting Underage fans to be blunt about it, this RTAA is a cover up story by Ryan when he was cheating with one of these fans
@@crash1108
Wtf that is just disgusting. I was wondering why he wasn't in the new minecraft videos. Honestly I kind want to see his response to why he did all this.
Meg Turney shit?
What happened with Meg Turney?
Can some please explain the significance of this clip i just got back into the youtube landscape to find most of my old favs turning to basturd edp then boogie and now im just finding out about ryan wats the piont of this clip with his crime im on the verge of tears this hurts so much
@@dvsat12 thank u so much for this reply i been lookin alot of stuff up but everythings been so buried i can only find things dealing with his fallout and not to many videos actully explaining in detail the situation
So the crazy guy breaking into gav and megs house is bad, but the crazy girl who stole premium RTX tickets that come with a meet and greet isnt?
Lol, literally all them of knew he was lying.
Is there any actual evidence that this story isn’t 100% true?
Yes, including photos of him in hotel rooms with the fans he was grooming. Its been well documented and in public domain for nearly 2 years now. The fact you haven't bothered to read any of it, espeically when Ryan's own subreddit turned into the hosting site for the master list of evidence, is your own fault.
Conversely, there's not a single piece of proof for Ryan's story other than his word.
@@jazzycat8917 You’re flipping the burden of proof. I’m not retarded enough to be arguing that Ryan Haywood didn’t groom and arguably rape many of the ah fans and that’s obviously reprehensible behavior. I’m asking specifically about THIS story. No one has proof that it didn’t happen just this way, and people are also using this to implicate Geoff as well which is incredibly irresponsible
The sad part is if Ryan's wife ever saw this she would know he's lying. She probably knew the whole time and accepted it in a way, but never suspected the girls would be underage.
Or she just assumed he was lying to exaggerate the story or something.
No that makes so sense at all. He probably lied just as much to her and she believed it, because why shouldn't she? I used to lie about exactly everything to people that meant the most to me and they believed me. No one ever caught me though, because I never made my lies overly complicated or insanely unlikely and I made a lot of research before I made them so I knew they wouldn't be suspicious in any way. What stopped me was my conscience. I was seriously depressed and one day I just told everyone the truth. My life was ruined in a day but I managed to get it back, it just took a lot of hard working and several years.
Ryan’s wife is a pretty private person. We haven’t seen anything of her so she probably doesn’t watch this content since she has a job to do and deal with two kids
Lots of speculation and waste of breath and energy here i see....who the f*ck are you to assume what his wife did or didn't know? Even worse, what she accepted? What the hell's wrong with you?
