This just saved my ass. Was swapping injector order on my 95 DSM and could not for the life of me get the pins to move at all. Didn't realize the top portion had to flip out of the way 🤦🏼♂️ Thank you for an awesome video.
Very nice! Between for example like RVR ecu /tcu connectors or i think 97 above you have to pull up the white tab on the top center of the connector instead and then you can do this to remove the pin.
For reference my 99 was different. I ended up using a safety pin which worked well. The angle of approach once inside the pin was different and actually super easy
I have a few 4g63 videos, but none that show the whole wiring swap from start to finish. I do have this though. www.hotrodwiki.com/index.php?title=How_to_wire_a_4g63_engine
I need checking in my asx from 2017. I need take signal from front speaker without cutting factory cable. Hope is work but I can see all ready in my dont have this pup up plastic look similar but is solid no pup up. I coming back when I checking 🙂
The metal pin crimps on with a special pair of crimping pliers. I don't have any of these exact style pins unfortunately, so I can't do a video to show you. If I come up with some in the future though, I will absolutely make video on it. Thank you for watching the video!

How does the wire attach to the pin itself? What's this process look like?

I'm adding wires to pin 79 of my ecu (which was blank), where can I get or what can I do to get me those metal pins to be soldered into the wires?
I’m not sure what type of pins they are. Do you just need 1 pin with a ~6 inch wire coming out? If so - I may have some.
