I met Papa at the Silver Platters for their first acoustic performance before Meliora came out. Two things I noticed. He’s well spoken and is short. My uncle, older bro, and I had them sign a 3D picture of Jesus on the cross. Each of the Ghouls said “don’t sell us out now” and Papa said, “that’s a nice picture you have there, turned it upside down, then said you have a perfect picture now…”
It's established he is an excellent vocalist, but have to admit, also writes all the music now, lyrics, makes all the instruments arrangements. He has made his dream come true tenfold. I also agree with his outlook on religion.

I know this is now consittered a bit outdated because of Impera being out now, but I honestly think I'm going to show this complilation to my father in law. He HATES theatrical bands but my husband and I adore Ghost and pester him to give them a try since hes seen over 200 concerts and loves "all" music. Imma play this so he won't know what he's listening to until I show him lol
I always liked Tobias's voice, the voice he did for Terzo. It was more fuller, powerful, and high. Nontheless, Tobias sings like any other great singer out there! Can be both in Rock, or in dramatic music!
Tobias has played all the Papa's and NOW he plays Cadinal Copia. Tobias has always been the guy singing the lead vocals in Ghost. This video shows off Tobias's great voice. It includes his many incarnations of Papa Emeritus 1 through 3, at least that is what I have grasped through my viewing of Ghost videos here on RUclips. I just heard Ghost for the first time about a couple of years ago-ish. I have only got the newest CD "Prequel" but I have seen many a Ghost video and heard many songs by Ghost, I love every song by Ghost that I have heard though. Tobias himself is a brown haired guy that seems to be in his 30's just guessing, there are many video s showing Tobias Forge now with NO mask or makeup on. He seems to be an honest, talented and humble guy. Good looking too.

I've done lots of time following Axl Rose, Chino Moreno, Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington.. i could go on.. each gig has a different capability, raw power, inconsistencies, etc.... but Tobias' vocals are totally unimpressive live. It's not that they're bad.. it's just meh.
He needs training or touring is going to cost him vocally.He not a naturally strong vocalist but he isn't terrible. He does have a certain quality to his voice that is very engaging,so I hope he's been getting some professional training in.

@Juan Miguel Convento There's been 4 vocalists in the band: Papa Emeritus I, Papa Emeritus II, Papa Emeritus III and Cardinal Copia. All 4 have been played by Tobias Forge. He has always been the singer of the band, just playing the different personas
