- The song "Cirice" appears on the album Meliora by the band Ghost. I do NOT own the rights to any of the material featured in this video. All rights to the audio belongs to Ghost. Recorded live by BBC in Dec. 2015. The footage are assembled and edited from various RUclips video clips. Thanks to all the photografers for sharing their videos.
The bass punched a hole through my bathroom door and knocked me off the toilet as I was watching this.
Doesn't matter if you like Ghost or not you have to respect the craftsmanship. From the songs to the stage production these guys are kicking ass. The Ghouls have really honed their stage antics with the restrictions of having a mask on. Playing in a band for years you can just look at each other and you know what the other is thinking. They're really good at this. Omega is rocking the f**k out!

Yes! That’s part of why this band won me over-the contrasting combinations. Vocals like that are so spooky in this context. It’s like a horror movie where the villain is too nice to be true, and gives you a creeped-out feeling. As opposed to death metal vocals, which are the just outright threatening kind of scary, these vocals are the creepy/spooky kind of scary. But in another band that wasn’t heavy and with dark themes, they would sound like power pop!
This lineup was so incredibly tight.

the sound of Martin and Simon could never be replicated, That creepy reverb and that little bit of delay gave the intro an impressive aura, not to mention the overdrive on the main riff.
This lineup was just the best! Miss the original/old member Ghouls.

Let's see this band was ! one of the most killer bands could have conquered the world I think I'll fire them all and replace them with lesser skilled musicians nobody will care because I'm so great Brilliant idea !
1 year later. You think their lineup now is less skilled? I been around since Meliora and I think they have only gotten better. Also the chemistry on stage is better, probably because there isn't any drama happening in the background anymore.

Am I the only one that thinks this sounds like the poster dubbed the studio version of the recording over the live footage? Ghost sounds good live, but not this good. Papa's vocals are normally a little muffled because of the mask.

I was just starting to think the same thing. Those masks can stifle vocal projection pretty significantly. Either way it does sound like it was taken from a live session but certainly not this show

Oh so much better than the current band performances live. These are really good guitarists and the new ones seem inferior. I like when no females were in the band. This performance is insanely good!!!!
