Fun fact: The Uesugi clan is one of the few samurai families from ancient times to still remain active in Japan today. The current direct descendant of Uesugi Kenshin is an astronomer called *Dr. Kuninori Uesugi.*

Wow, I have a newfound respect for this man, I have always loved Takeda Shingen, I always found it amazing that what is considered a child today would rule and lead a clan leading armies. The fact that Uesugi Kenshin would supply the Takeda with salt, to having their duel in battle, to weeping for his sworn enemy speaks volumes, I should have realised that a man as great as Takeda Shingen would have a rival just as great. And his poem! I can only hope that I have reached that level of peace, acceptance and wisdom on my last day on earth.

Intelligence gathering effort(ninja) between Kenshin and Shingen was rampant.
There was no record of it but the how they plan the battles suggests there was, no other way.
It's like each of them were sitting at the table of war planning room at the enemy fort.
For example, at the 4th battle of Kawanaka-jima, the plan made by the strategist Kansuke Yamamoto(Takeda side) was known by Kenshin, so he changed the tactics early in the morning.

Some theorist stated that kenshin is a woman.
    - kenshin never married and have no children.
    - In some text mentioned that kenshin is beautiful, the kanji clearly mean beautiful as referred to a female, and kenshin seems fine they state him that way
    - its said in hojo clan's archieves that every month around 10 th, kenshin suffered a painful stomache cramp and pain, he even unable to ride the horse. so he never go to battle arround that date.
    - according matsudiaraki's journal and hojo's archieve, on june 11th due to stomach pain, kenshin was forced to retreat despite the fact that the hojo's castle was almost fall.
    - many historian agree that kenshin died between march 9th to 11th
    - very early edo period historian matsuidara tadaaki mention that the reason kenshin's death was uterine bleeding.
    - on potrait of kenshin as bishamonten there's a cup on his feet. According to ancient japanese symbolism, vase or bottle symbolize men, while cup symbolize women
    - pre edo period painting depict kenshin beardless and have feminime and clear looks (men usualy depicted having beard and women have clearer faces)
    - in temple of bishamonten in kasugayama (kenshin home castle), the statue of bishamonten is a female, the abbot have no idea why, and said the statue was been there since kenshin's time.
    - it is recorded that kenshin had free access to the female's quarters and he many time hung out with ashikaga shogun's mom and sister. Only female that allowed to female quarters or visit shogun's mom privately. No matter how close kenshin to the shogun, he unable to do all of that if he is a man
uesugi clan keep a close secret of how kenshin died, they just said that he just died. probably because if tokugawa shogunate finds out then they could lose the legitimacy and their land will be confiscated, as the head of a clan must be a male. Or perhaps tokugawa knows about it but never bring it up. In respect of kenshin and the stability of the goverment

In the game its a women like all things in anime, and in her lore it states whenever she kills someone she laughs in a sadistic way with this smile, but since its anime, her appearance looks different than the description im giving you.

Every language I’ve studied and/or learned about, I’ve done at least a 2 minute study on how they speak; rather than just using my language skills and applying them to everyone else’s language ways. Seriously, it only takes a few minutes to notice that annunciations aren’t the same everywhere!!! Please take a few minutes and try to do better, that’s all I’m asking. Thank you!
    P.S.
English is supposed to be the hardest language in the world, so every other language should be easy to annunciate property. And apparently ur an Englishman, so this should be elementary for you. Sorry not trying to be an ass, but I’m just tired of people not even trying to take a couple of minutes to learn annunciate what they’re trying to talk about. To me, it just shows laziness and ego of said people!
