A beautiful castle and coast. The rock makes for interesting foreground. Must be very good with a cloudier sky or golden hour for less harsh light. Wonderful images!
I agree, photo with one couple in it is best Very calm and relaxed delivery Craig. Well done. As a RUclips Photography vlogger myself I appreciate that calmness. Pity you didn’t get to the location earlier or later in the day for better light but I loved the way you dealt with the processing and your wife and the new camera. 🤣 Take care, Fergus.
Hi Fergus, glad you liked the video. Yes the light can be a lottery, earlier that morning it was clouded over then full sunshine came out. I might look calm and relaxed but in reality it's a juggling act between the still photography, keeping an eye on Helen who was filming the B role, remembering what to say and trying not to slip on the rocks.
Superb vlog Craig, love all the images, but favourites are the one of the castle in the bottom third and the dramatic clouds in the top 2 thirds, plus the bnw at the end
Hi Drew, Looking back I missed an opportunity with those clouds, there could have been a better shot maybe creating some strong foreground low down with the castle pulled closer and topping off with the clouds. Thank you for watching.
Hi Craig I'm a new subscriber and just working my way through your vlogs. Regarding buying new kit I like to use the 'It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission' 😀 Northumberland is one of my favourite locations in the UK with its stunning coastline. You definitely did it justice with your images
Hi Paul welcome to the channel. I think if I used the word forgiveness there would be a full inventory of my camera bag!!. Northumberland has so much to photograph in one relatively small area. Thank you for watching.
Prefer the pano that you selected as the best. Tbh, I found the path and rain pools on the bottom right distracting and would have done something with those in post.

Hi, Thank you for watching. Less harsh light would be more favourable and sunrise on those rocks would give some nice gentle light.

Very nice video of a great location. Agree with your choice of the pano. Also loved the monochrome shots.

Left hand side couple in with the puddles either cropped or taken out
Hi Paul, Thank you for watching. I did not consider removing the puddles, but a good suggestion. probably a crop. cheers.

Hi Alan, good point about the puddles and pathway . Thank you for watching.
