Really enjoy your Tuesday video's! I've been doing woodworking for over 40+ years and still enjoy seeing new information. Did I say 40+ years out loud! Crap I'm getting old, any way keep it up. Be safe and have a great day my friend.
Thank you again Paul. It’s interesting how you use each machine for a given job, planner, drum sander etc., Looking forward to next Saturday. From Missouri
Are you running multiple machines from one vfd? I was doing some reading on how the vfd senses the draw of the motor and does some electrical magic so I’m still a bitty iffy on hooking up the vfd as a main for 2 tools. Currently restoring a 3ph powermatic table saw.
You can run multiple machines but not at the same time, a Vfd is designed to control 1 motor only. So if you have a plug you could switch which machine, as long as they are the same voltage.
He does mention it in the video AND it is in the description! But nice of you to still ask, as all the comments help the YT algorithm! 🤣 Nice machines btw Paul!

Gold old is mandatory, growing up is optional!!! Thanks for watching
The power feed on the bandsaw is brilliant. Never seen it used on one before.
Thanks Don, I had not seen many before I tried to do this.

More to come!
Once again i feel smarter, tanks
My dad had a mini max scoring saw that he used in his cabinet shop. He loved that thing 😁
It's an amazing saw!
Thanks for sharing, stay safe!
Thanks, you too!
"The Beast" truly is a beast, awesome machine!
Whoo! I have bandsaw envy. My old Delta 10” is suffering from self esteem issues
Its not about the size of the saw, but how it cuts ;-)
We have a Jet 18" Bandsaw and use Wood-Mizer 1" .035 7/8 TS for resawing.
Great tour of your Bandsaws.
Hmmmm maybe I should try a woodmizer blade
Great video - I need another bandsaw
The other green one is for sale ;-)
$1100! That’s daytime robbery for this thing 👍
I do agree, but it was a big purchase when I started, literally (-:
Great video as usual.
Glad you enjoyed it
Your bandsaw is sparking in beginning of video. It's going to start a fire.
The thrust bearing has sparked for about 9 years, its comes and goes. I think it's time to replace it again. So far no fires to report.
Them sparks are going up your dust collection to. Good luck
Why’s the bandsaw sparking?

Where do you get your band saw blades from . We have a band saw at work that isn't used because my boss doesn't know were to get blades for it

Thanks Billy
Interesting
Thanks for watching
I need to understand bandsaw drift better when I resaw lumber
There is a great series from ethan of stockroom supply on the topic.
Alex Snodgrass at Carter has information that is very useful for bandsaw users. He has postings on You Tube
Did you experienc drift ripping those lams?
Yes I have my fence set to the drift on my saw
Fortunately, that big BS would not fit in my basement, so there's no temptation.
(Who am I kidding, of course there is...)
Cut a sky light lol
@@CanadianWoodworks You do know how basements work, right?
Cut a hole into the floor joists
