Supercharger Install Ep. 4 - Fuel Injector Install in 370Z / G37

- In this video I install Injector Dynamics 1050X Injectors in my Nissan 370Z as part of my preparation for going forced induction and installing a Vortech V3 supercharger. In order to make boost and gain extra horsepower, larger injectors are needed to be able to keep up with the increased fuel demand.
Steps include taking apart the upper intake manifold and lower intake plenum, removing the fuel rails, swapping out injectors, and porting the intake manifold is also discussed.

1 extra piece of safety I do when using quick connectors on fuel injectors, I use a mini zip tie around the 2 halves to make sure 1 doesn’t somehow pop off. That could make for a real rough day if 1 did. Good video as always!
Love these how to videos man! Very detailed and shot well
I learned a lot from your channel Thank you very much, Greetings from Saudi Arabia.
Nice progress with the injectors, i wouldn't try inserting dry injector orings into the fuel rail. Id use like silicone spray lube, or vaseline or even lithium white grease. Might want to add an oil catch can regarding your PCV system another nice addition IMO.
Not related, do you have a video for the bypass throttle body coolant hoses. Im running the soho super charger lyre kit. Thank you.
You're hesitant on doing a modification? Man I thought you walked on water. :-) But I do agree it would be good to know the difference in hp from just the lower intake manifold change. As always a great video in letting others know the amount of work involved and the "oh, be careful and watch this".
What spark plugs are you using for this topgunz sc? I just placed my order for this sc kit
Where did you get those quick connections bro?
Hey nice videos, I love them! I have a 370z too, planning to get "mo powah baby" in the close future. Do you have any mechanic experience? or just jumped in to wrenching as a hobby?
I jumped into wrenching as a hobby a few years ago. Once you have the tools and have been playing with it for a bid it's not that bad
Do you have torque specs used to reinstall upper intake manifold?
I don't, would have to refer back to the FSM
What’s your opinion on doing these type of mods on a automatic 370z is it do able/worth it? (yes an automatic I would have loved a manual but I do not know how to drive one)
Lol, I'm not judging on manual vs automatic. There are definitely days I wish I didn't have to worry about shifting.
These mods would be the same on an automatic. The only difference would be the modification to the clutch.
The auto works well with a supercharger set up. Don't go turbo on auto, to much torque will destroy the gearbox. You can damage it with a supercharger with to much boost. But this type of kit straight out the box with a good tune should be fine.
I'm looking at getting this kit for mine in a couple of months.
So keen for this one bro been waiting for more uploads loving your build as I’m doing the exact same except with the 450 fuel pump ;)
Nice! Good luck on the install. Hoping to be only a 2-3 weeks from first startup.
The Carizon will you be doing the ecutek tunes software or uprev and will you show Dyno numbers etc?
@@westsidejdm3924 ECUTEK remote tuning with dyno day after.
Hey! how is the supercharger install going? Are you going to be installing it yourself?
Yep, planning on installing it myself. Currently waiting on the blow off valve to get in.
@@thecarizon504 where did you get the kit? Im looking to do the work myself, is everything included in the topgunz website kit? Minus injectors/pump ofc.
You are a soldier 😢
Hey I had a question about putting the injectors
What's up?
@@thecarizon504 I have id1000cc injectors im bout to install on my g37 Na but I wanted to know how do u know when it is in the fuel and if its properly put in
@@TONYTRIX ideally use a fuel pressure gauge and prime the pump, see if the pressure holds the same as before you installed them. This verifies that there are no leaks. You'll know if you have a manifold pressure leak around the injectors after you start tuning.
Ok preciate it
I am here 😭.
Late but here
