Assassin's Creed was released back in the day. It was unoptimized. I'm not sure this solution will apply to Genshin or any Online game for that matter. Not to mention we'd have to find the correct IP to block that the game tries to connect to. However, then it won't be able to connect online and you can't play the game at all lol. Applies to any online game. There is a reddit post that explains how AC tries to connect to the internet and gain resource, that's why the game lags. So, adding this ip to the hosts file blocks it from connecting to the internet. That's how the freezing stops. So, I don't think it will work on any other game that's online.
