- With the launch of the brand new Tekken 8 just around the corner, I decided to cover the series once again! We've dived deep into the first game before, so I thought now would be a perfect time to cover the madness that is Tekken 2 for PS1!

That was the least accurate Tekken 2 plot summary, yet somehow the most accurate. Devil was, though, originally separate from Kazuya. A literal manifestation of the devil he sold his soul to, and a separate conscience entirely.
Kazuya sacrificing himself by killed by heihachi.
I get things wrong sometimes in my silliest kinds of videos for comedic effect which is why I didn't mention the whole 'Kazuya sells soul to the devil' stuff. Thanks for watching!

Tekken 2 is my favorite in the series, such a unique atmosphere.
The music of Tekken 2 is unmatched to this day.

Tekken's 2 cinematic introduction is mythical!
The cinematic intro hits me hard with nostalgia… man as a kid in the 90s playing this on PlayStation I had no idea what I was doing but I loved it
The thumbnails quite a spoiler; I would never have guessed that Heihachi hated his son. In all seriousness, fantastic to see one of my favourite video games (and I think the 2nd fighting game I ever played) get covered in a video by you.
1:31 - There's my main. If the concept of a jaguar masked fighter wasn't appealing enough, this intro certainly built up some intrigue to the character and teased his rival fight.
2:07 - N-no, not arguably. Have you seen what Kuma looks like in Tekken 1? Tekken 2 is an amazing step up in the graphics department.
3:52 - The JunxKazuya relationship is still one of the greatest mysteries we have.
5:13 - That's because Hiehachi did the optimal play of ducking under Devil's laser beams and striking him out of the air. Always did find Devil significantly easier than Kazuya in Tekken 2.
6:54 - It's why I hold the storytelling potential of fighting game's arcade mode in such high regard. Each character's arcade mode has the chance to make them the protagonist, to show their story and what would happen if they were the victor.
9:29 - A bit strange to be earning dollars in the UK but nice to see the UK sales get a specific menton.

It's never confirmed that Paul beat Heihachi
I mean, if the final was going to be Kazuya vs Paul (which is canon according to Tekken 3 manual), somebody had to defeat Heihachi and the most logic choose is Paul
