Nice interview bruv. Couple of things. There was another skatepark in Chester in the 70’s in the old theatre that’s now been bulldozed. It had one giant vert wall where the stage would be. On the right a narrow full pipe. Second the full pipe beam angles were 5 degrees in case anyone wants to copy it. And yes 14ft tall. First time you went to Wakefield was with me. I have film of you gobsmacked at Bestwicks riding. Considering you never dabbled in drugs remembering dates is not your thing. But ask him where the 3ft ledge in blah blah land and he’ll take you straight there.
I think Viking skull was one of the bands that year at download in the bowl it was great watching the bands skate and bmx at the same time sat down with a pint very american style i think they also had moto cross in the cage chainsaw nutters firebreathers and hot dancers everywhere great year that one. Great vid man.
