The SIP facility allows you to invest a fixed amount of money at predefined intervals in the mutual fund scheme of your choice. When you invest a fixed amount of money in equity mutual fund schemes at regular intervals without timing the stock market you end up investing at different stock market levels. You will be able to purchase more equity mutual fund units when the stock market is down and lesser units when the market is high for the same amount. Step-Up SIP helps you build a bigger corpus than a regular SIP and reach major financial goals faster.

As per example shown for regular SIP vs Step up SIP, the amt shown for Step up is almost double against regular SIP but investment is more than double, almost 3 times. Then it will be more beneficial if we get 2 regular SIPs instead of opting for step up. Please explain if someone has better reason to opt for step up.

I am new as well but tax on long term capital gain is also a factor which is different for each type of fund ex equity, debt, Index have their separate time taxes. Generally long term capital/the profit per anum is 10% ex : more than 3 years but below 1 lakh profit earned p.a is tax free. And for short term capital gain tax is 15% normally within 3 years i think.
all in all you will be taxed twice if you have 2 different sips instead of a setp up one

Step up sip is basically used to increase ur money gradually, when u get a raise from office etc, but if u have more money now , then obviously it will be compounded better!
Instead of step up sip that where we invest 68 lakhs, if we invest two regulars sip that will cost only 48 lakh we get the same corpus.

Per the table at 9:45 the earnings were 7.5 % and that too without deduction of tax on profit. Now on the table at 9:29 fir 20 years what is the gaurantee that the return will be 12 % where in we saw the 6 month growth waw 7.5 %. All I am trying to say is we need to be as realistic as we should as 20 years there are so many factors on play.

As per your given example, regular sip is giving 4.16% return and step up sip is giving 2.72% return.
Its just we see a big amount in step up sip but compounding is less as we compare it with regular sip.
Please enlighten me if i am wrong.
Step up will not effect compounding if other factors remain constant.
If I invest 10000 and for 3 years the calculator shows 30000 total in return if there is any fluctuations in the market then can my return amount vary or it may be the same

3. Switching SIPs: You can choose to start a new SIP with a different provider or in a different mutual fund scheme.
4. Communication: The SIP provider or the mutual fund company will likely communicate with you regarding the situation and any necessary actions you need to take.

if you dont do auto manadate , then SIP wont work. instead of doing SIP, you can just invest manually from your end on the SIP date

SIP does not have an end date you can continue to invest as long as you wish to, the amount is still invested and the amount remains in the fund and keeps growing based on fund performance until redeemed.

Mene 1000 per month wala sip plan liya from grow app but due to bank issue(No net banking facilities) auto pay rehect hogaya mere bank se 1k tuo debit hogya par sip nahi dikh rahi hai .Do something grow ,😶

What is the difference in the objectives between Recurring deposits and SIP?

One can close an SIP and withdraw money anytime. However, they may have to pay an exit load if they redeem the units before a specific period. Recurring deposits also provide liquidity, but it involves payment of pre-withdrawal charges for premature withdrawals.
