Bravo to Brandon for his portrayal as Quintus. He plays the role brilliantly. He deserves an award for his acting.
no one could have brought the part to life to equal him,the minute i seen his portrayl of him,i liked him,esp when he said don't make me kill you jesus,he played a roman perfectly,ego and bold,marvelous

His voice reminds me of John de Lancie when he played Q in the Star Trek TNG and Picard series. I love his scenes and his giggles/cackles when he is annoyed and amused.

The scene of Quintus and Jesus talking is one of my all-time favorites. It is SO nuanced. I've watched it over and over. Brandon Potter is excellent as Quintus! Loved this interview. ❤️

Even though Quintus is on the wrong side, you really can’t help but like him. His laugh is so contagious for me. One of my favorite lines is when he tells Matthew to “skip to the end”, absolutely hilarious 😆. He’s intimidating, but not a scary brute. Brandon is exceptional as Quintus, chomping at the bits for season 4!

Worked as an extra for Season 4 shooting this May. One of the biggest fun surprises was seeing Brandon as himself and not Quintus. He's completely opposite his character and thus, a brilliant actor.
That must have been so fun to be an extra for that. The sets look so genuine it must have felt like you time traveled to the first century!
@@Trasea So true!!! When I look at the insider reports and realize I was actually there, it really gives me chills! That little marketplace was a hangout for me -- in one scene, my assignment was to walk around and touch the fish netting and interact with booth vendors while Jesus and the Apostles were talking in front of us! It's an amazing experience and I encourage anyone who can give it a try! Biggest thing is having the time to do it. It usually means a 14-15 hour day! But well worth it! And, I got pushed aside by Big James in one scene! That dude is strong!!!

This man is such an amazing actor like when I watch him in the Chosen every time he comes on screen I get so excited just to watch him he’s captivating and his voice is just so amazing. I love how Gaius has this sense of menace about him. That he could do anything he wants to whomever he wants. Until he comes to Quintus the where the power shifts and Quintus now has the feeling of menace about him. Until Atticus walks into the room.

Yeah I’m definitely enjoying the Chosen and I think you Brandon play your part smoothly and believably.
Is it just me or has anyone else wanted to see Brandon Potter play Q on a Star Trek? This guy is great! Everyone on the Chosen are fantastic, but when Brandon is on screen he dominates the scene. I think he’s one of those few actors who presents just pulls you into the story. I really don’t think enough credit is given to Brandon as an actor. The roll of Quintus could have easily been a joke if under or overplayed. Brandon seemed to find just the right balance and has made this character perfect in the series.

Brandon playing Quintus- from the moment he came on the screen he was frightening to me. He was really doing the part well. If I was a Roman soldier, I would’ve been scared to death.

Brandon Potter is a marvelous actor. What a charming man. Like so many actors from The Chosen, he is grateful for the experience. I believe Dallas has set the tone so everyone is comfortable and can deliver their best.

(In a good way) His voice drives me up the wall with recognition. But I've scoured the IMDB page and can't figure out from where. It could just be the 4 trillion "voice actor" roles he's listed as . . . and yet, even those, are games/shows . . . that I haven't seen. He does a great job in the role. And this is a fun interview. Break a leg.

I could listen to his voice all day. It's a bit scary being drawn to a character who represents the not so good side of humanity. That look he gave Jesus when he leaned in and said I can't promise not to kill you. Yet I find myself drawn to him. Crazy

I'm wondering if the meddling of Caiaphus into Quintus' ambitions will cause him to either protect his sphere of influence, or crumble and do things that he doesn't want to do in order to retain his power?

@sonyafunk8909. Quintus would have to be demoted below praetor and primi ordine in order to become a centurion. He would also have to move from Capernaum all the way down to Jerusalem.

Quintus is one of my favorite bad guys and Brandon is excellent in the roll. I love his voice. I think deep down he’s not a bad guy but has to play the part because of his status in society. Curious to see how this season plays out. He’s pretty intense with Gaius in one of the scenes Dallas shared. Absolutely love this show and all the actors are perfect for the roll they’re playing. It’ll be nice seeing the new Phillip in action too.
