:) Thank you! Great interview ❤
I love his humor! Brandon does have a huge part to us as viewers. ‘I don’t know what that means but let’s leave on a high note.’, absolutely cracked me up!
I love the way Brandon plays his part on The Chosen!!!
Quintus is my favourite character, when he told mathew "he is so wonderfully odd"i knew i was going to like him
I love how Brandon portrays Quintas! I think that character really helps enrich the dimensions of the storytelling---more layers, more depth. And, as he said, the Roman Empire was a prominent force in the day-to-day lives of all the people who interacted with Jesus. Great acting!
He has really good energy. I think Quintus is an interesting character to watch because it is just fun to watch someone who is so sharp and so thoroughly amused with everything.
I find this gentleman so drawing, handsome and comely even when he is after our Lord !
I love how he plays his chr..smart and quick wit, and he plays him well.
I’m a fan of the chosen and I absolutely love Brandon!!! Nobody could have played Quintus as well as he has. I look forward to future projects Brandon will be in, he’s a fantastic actor!!!
Quintas is one of my favorite characters.
God definitely chose Brandon for this part. He has the perfect voice for portraying self entitled snarkiness 😂 Love ❤️
Totally agree.
Absolutely
I believe Quintas is a very driven man, but also very lonely. In real life, these are the ones Jesus wants to reach! Brandon is an amazing actor and plays his part well. He’s a great human being and fits well in the group. Great attitude and I’m so happy to get to know him through these interviews! ❤❤❤❤❤
If we could hear that laugh everyday it would be so awesome!
Great work on the Chosen Brandon.
Blessings!
I always look forward to the Quintus scenes. It's kind of funny how he is totally oblivious to who he is dealing with in Jesus.
I love the humanization of the actor Brandon here. So so great!!
love the 'messy humanity' of Quintus! Blessings from Canada.
I also love Brandon's humor and how plainly excited he is to be playing this part! Thank you, Brandon, for playing such a compelling antagonist!
He plays his part so great
Kindness and generosity.
I love the character of Quintas!!! Brandon is one of the best actors. His voice, Alone, makes him the best
Man for this part!!! His facial expressions and smile are amazing! This man is an amazing actor and makes a wonderful Quintas!!!
I enjoy how he trusts Matthew to the point of asking his advice on boyhood relationships.
Laura you are a great interviewer
Quintus....Didn't know Q from STNG traveled back to the time of Jesus. Brandon does such a wonderful job! In such sometimes ugly cry moments, he brings a bit of dry humor to stop the tears.
I also noticed how Quintus sounds and acts very similar to Q on STNG! Love it!
In love with his voice😃
Brandon is awesome on The Chosen. Seems very authentic. ✝️🙏❤️
He is so good playing this part
What a great character Brandon Potter epitomizes as a Roman who is intelligent and a great leader of all of the citizens.
Brandon is perfect as Quintus and I so look forward to seeing him in every episode.
In this interview what he said about the cast and crew just brought me to tears knowing that the love of Christ emanates throughout the production in simple human kindness, truly making our earthly journey more like Heaven.
I absolutely ADORE Quintess! He is my very FAVORITE character! SO funny, big heart, & handsome too! Just LOVE his role in this movie! - Susan Burns
Brilliant acting, Brandon! You r awesome...💪
Great talent
Brandon should play Lex Luthor next in a movie or something. He has the humour the witt, sounds so intelligent with the way he speaks, just the overall energy ❤
I love t Brandon ... he is amazing. His voice alone is enough to make sus realize his depth of character in his own life, and then at a character like Quintus to the mix and how fun !! How GENIUS for him to bring out his best acting abilities ; There is the curious and the light humanitarian s side of Quintus and the dark side of his ambition .. I feel this actor is pure genies. I have to look up his other movies and maybe he is a voice over too. Thank you for another amazing h and fun interview!. x Blessings and gratitude, Merri
Love Brandon’s acting!
I love this guy! He plays an arrogant bad guy with passion! LOVE IT!
Brandon you do a fantastic job bringing Quintus to life. I really enjoy the interactions between Quintus and the rest of the characters. I can't wait to see what happens next!
I love Brandon Potter! Firstly, it's that great voice of his so that when he plays Praetor the way he says things with that voice it's DEADLY! He always makes his mark and he never misses!
I love Quintus!!
As I sit and listen to the readings in Mass, I've come to see the faces, hear the voices, and personalities of The Chosen cast in my mind's eye. On one hand, this is superficial, of course. Yet, I find it also connects me to religious text in surprising ways that help me understand deeper what is being said, and perhaps how I am to interpret the words.
Quintus is awesome! He’s definitely a really good actor. That sewer issue when he was screaming at the engineer….😂😂😂😂😂 this guy knows the drill.
I love the interaction between Jesus and Quintus in season 2. There is a lot to learn from in that scene in how to agree and disagree with people and how to be kind and respectful to someone who has completely different views than you. I think if we all acted that way toward our enemies/opponents/people on opposing sides of the political spectrum, the world/society/the internet would be a much better place.
I Love Him❤
Quintus is such a strong name. ❤
What's so crazy about Brandon's portrayal of Quintis is every time he spoke and his mannerisms, I could see him playing a young version of Q in Star Trek, I don't know what it is about his delivery, but it just comes off like that every time to me.
I cannot get enough of Quintus. Brandon plays the perfect pompous Roman bureaucrat beautifully! Of course Jesus had adversaries. He still does.
So out of some genuine care for people, Quintus wants to organise them.....this sounds so familiar to me about our own times.....!
Brandon Potter is perfect as Quintus. I couldn't imagine another actor playing him. His acting & his laughter made me like the show even more.
You are such a good actor!
OMG Shanks!
Brandon reminded me of Q from the Star Trek TNG series as soon as I heard his first line. Ironically his name in the show is Quintus!
Why so many views? Because deep down inside of us, we are yearning for the Divine: Jesus, God and the Good that is so much needed in this modern materialistic society.
I'm sure he would take this as a compliment in playing a villain. It took 2-3 times of hearing him talk in his scenes that finally I realized he sounds just like Q in Star Trek Next Gen. it's like a part 2 of being able to enjoy a villain who you know is threatening but not in a terrible way.
He is awesome in his role
I thoroughly enjoy Brandon's portrayal of Quintus! He reminds me of how and when the "Jesus story" occurred - Romans were the conquering army, they had a pantheon of gods and Quintus is only concerned with the climb up the social levels (promotions) and the best use of his 'power' to maintain peace within his ranks and area of control - much like many people today believe (particularly politicians and corporate bosses). The Jews were a conquered people so 'less than' any Roman and they squabbled within their own ranks which frustrated Rome to no end. I wouldn't say Quintus is 'evil' per se, rather a product of his pagan upbringing and times. Great job bringing a bit of 'humanity' to the "other side" !
SHANKSKSS IMGAGA AHHHH OMGG
I love your laugh in the show! 2:09 2:12
Quintus is the Darth Vadar of the Roman Empire. He rules with an iron fist, but he serves under the Emperor of Rome, who is the ultimate power in the world.
I will never eat japanese food without remenbering Quintus!
If you close your eyes whether being this interview or as playing Quintus, you can hear John deLancie. 20 years from now if they reboot Star Trek TNG, he could definitely play Q. He had deLancies voice, and even his arrogance and acting style.
My next favorite character is the other Roman Soldier, Gaius, the guy that tried to keep Matthew in line. lol - He is just AWESOME! - Susan Burns
He would make the best lex luthor ever!
I really thought he was the son of John de Lancie (Q from Star Trek Next Generation). Every scene I see him in I'm thinking Q
An AWESOME character to love and hate
Quintus is a character which, I can relate
His curiosity, seems to be having it's way
A man in authority, will soon have his day
This guy does play the part really well. But he sounds like Q from Star Trek
Quintus’s laugh is what gets me. It’s kinda creepy.
I think she’s wrong
I don’t think his character is one we like to hate
I think he’s very funny I like how he plays that character he actually makes him very likable
lol he does sound like deadmau5 hahahaha
Brandon is awesome. Love his character. His sarcastic yet his inferiority complex. At least that's what I see.
"Love to hate"...NAH! Quintus is just being a Roman. :) Brandon makes him a sassy Roman though :D
I disagree. Quintus is actually the most likeable villain because he doesn't try to pretend to be righteous. He just wants stability in the region and hates people who get in the way of that goal.
I think his disdain for the Jews is not so much born on a belief of Roman superiority (although he does believe Romans are superior). But more on the fact that the Jews, especially the Jewish leadership, are such hypocrites. They say they want stability but constantly undermine it. They act pious but have their noses in the air. They claim to despise the Romans but try to gain favor. They complain about taxes but continue to collect tithe from the people. Preaching unity but plotting against each other to ensure their faction is on top.
Quintus is ambitious and wants to gain more power also but at least he's honest about it.
You give Brandon Potter God like powers, and he goes from Quintus... to Q.
Put his voice side by side with clips of John de Lancie, and you'll know what I'm talking about.
Quintus made me think of 'Q' from Star Trek, with his somewhat nasty, cynical portrayal--and his humor.
And his voice!
@@cathyhughes991 Now that you mention it... Yep!
Amazing actor he might play a evil part yet he plays it so awesome.
