I have a 2015 Tundra with a sealed transmission. I undo the filler plug first. I drain the transmission. I remove the check valve or overflow plug. I'll place a rubber silicone plug into the check valve hole. I'll take a meat thermometer and place it into the opening of the check valve through the rubber silicone plug. I'll fill it with the same amount of fluid that came out. I'll run the engine until the transmission fluid temperature comes up to 104 to 113 degrees. Be sure to shift from reverse to drive a few times to make sure the fluid is evenly distributed. Once the temperature is at 104 to 113 degrees. When the meat thermometer beeps, you can Uncork the rubber silicone plug and drain until it trickles. Put the original check valve plug back in and you're done. You can flush a few times if needed.
I bought this scanner Launch 123x but it when I do health check on my 2012Toyota Camry, it doesn't scan the transmission so I can't check the fluid temperature like you show on your video
I bought CRP123X. I have a question. Various packages are available for purchase in the Store (Mall), e.g. an Audi for $38 or a Kia for $38. Do you know what it is?
I am new to this but my 7yrs old Subaru XV had a CVT warmer failure, I was shocked, cost me USD$300 to change it in Singapore.. but I was forced to believe the workshop as I am helpless to verify anything they said... So at least with this tool as long as the CVT fluid warms up to the required temp, you may or may not need to change that CVT warmer or you can get world wide advise on social media.
Do you need to have internet to used it ? If you don't updates does that still work without updates ? Out from the box can you used it without wifi or internet ? Can this scan fpr Fuel Pressure ? And can this do compression test ?

10:06 aren't you have to rave engine to 2500 rpm to check charging? This what you shown is just a current voltage reading. It doesn't show battery or alternator neither health nor cranking levels

CVT fluid will expand in volume when warm (hot). That's why the manufacturer specify to check fluid level at a specific temperature range. That's also why there is no more dipstick to check fluid level. The OBD scan tool will show when you have reached the correct fluid temp and then you can check fluid level.

I bought one from a seller on EBay, US Seller. A year ago I’ve had no issues with it. It’s a great tool for diagnosing issues with just about any vehicle. You can select and go live with it while the engine is running and do your diagnostics that way as well.
I bought launch 123x. It is the most stupid scan tool. Can't read fuel trims. It has very little or nothing on many cars . Eg bmw 320d (it shows very little info). And toyota hilux (nothing display
This device advertises misleading spec on 16gb ROM. Actual size is less than 12gb. Go to settings and select storage and it will show the real storage size.

134 degrees F for cvt temperature in the short time that it was running? Is that accurate? Is it live temp reading? I’m not so sure.
