Aria (Enjoyment) - CGI Animation

- Hey guys,
I'm so happy to share my second animation, 'Enjoyment', and my most challenging project yet! It took me around 2 months to create and I worked on it in my spare time.
My goal was to try and create a natural CG performance where the character is smiling. I could tweak it endlessly, but I wanted to share this result.
Sculpted expressions in ZBrush, hand-animated in Maya and rendered in Arnold.

Ho-ly shiiiiiit! This is the most realistic CGI human I’ve ever seen. I’m speechless. The fluidity of the facial movements, the micro expressions…indistinguishable from a real human. 10,000 times better than anything I’ve seen come from Metahuman. Bravo!
She is so beautiful man... I dont even look at her as CG created animation anymore but a beautiful woman. I could easily fall in love in that eyes and smile. Its beyond perfection.

@@TquanAyeyes, we're serious. Why? Don't you believe that in future AI + 3D miracles might compete living human beings so that some of people would marry androids? :)
@@Nafiganado I don't believe it, I know it. Many lonely men will fall in love with AI and androids. But this guy's comment sounded corny and sarcastic, so I was curious if he was serious.
This man right here, ladies and gentleman, is proof that you CAN make realistic humans beyond the uncanny valley, but big studios just won't due to time restrictions

don't know if the problem on this creepy woman is from quality of textures.
But why they have time restrictions in the first place?, If it's going to lead to destruction?
There is one thing to consider, tho. Making a 3D model look realistic has been done countless times in movies, the problem comes when animating it. In this video, while amazing, the animation is very simple. Imagine it having to talk and articulate, that's when it starts looking weird. Look at Loren Peta in Blade runner 2049, or look at the scene in terminator Dark Fate in the beach bar. They look amazing, the problem is if the characters talk.

hello sir, im interested with the "hyperreal 3d character creation" course, i wanna ask, is it a step by step course or is there some skipped parts?

@@DreamBubbleXD you're maybe so much experienced, for me i only start. Then if you talk about blender that's sure, it's really easy to do something against Zbrush.
@@empGaming_Music_Movies A blender? Haha, I don't use this software, my friend. I'm talking about general information related to a realistic image. I do not think that the blender should be used in such projects, it is not suitable for this, this is my opinion and I may be wrong, for me the blender is software for students. In my workflow, I use many different programs, and the blender has never been included in it
@@DreamBubbleXD we're agree, you work in what type of studio? and i've another question, it's nice to buy a morpher male, female for understood anatomie or its quite expensive and i need to exerce my eyes by using reference? the 3D scan are from 3dscanstore site. My problem is when i search for learning anatomie 3d reference are in generally with orthographic view and never perspective. You never use blender software if that's the case why you subscribe to Blender's channels? and what's your artstation?
The skin on her forehead looks a little off, looks too clean, I think it needs imperfections, oil, freckles, etc
