I Love Case Copperheads and you are Right, they do manipulate the knife market! I'm still trying to get the yellow, red, and amber CV copperheads. And, I don't wanna pay double the price on eBay.
I have this knife. I love the green. I haven't seen Copperhead models since I bought it, so I assume it was a what I have seen called a vault release, and I not realizing that just got lucky because I love green. I love Mini-Copperlock knives, too. I have a nice purple one and a 6.5 bonestag one. I collect various Peanuts knives. I love those little things. I just received a Kelly Green Folding Hunter. Wow, big boy, there. Love it. I just love Case slipjoint knives.
I like to talk a lot of noise against Case for putting brand before quality but if I walked by that beauty I know for a fact I would buy it without hesitation.
Lovely knife as usual brother. I'm not a fan of how Case does their vault patterns either. Living in Australia it's hard enough to buy regular Case knives sometimes.

Yeah the copper lock is really nice but the copperhead is special I don't know why they do that stupid thing and discontinue it
