Jimmy actually joined the group in the early 1980's and he was hand picked by Lew Dewitt to fill in for him so he could get his Crohn's disease under control.
Think I’m loosing it! Had a dream with this song! It’s was about 1912. I was in the American Deep South Dressed in a striped blazer, straw hat white trousers. Then, I got into a row boat with a lady dressed like they did in that period with a parasol As I was rowing on the lake, these were on the lakes little island singing this while the moon glistened on the water! I’m English! Born in 1962! Past life? Scary!
Don has the most wonderful voice, love them all, best group ever
I thank Smokey and the Bandit 2 for knowing this song.
