It's fake. Liars lie pilots fly. That engine isn't even remotely powerful enough to make any real speed. You have to really LOOK at the skill level of who you talk to in this sport.

Just so you know at 10,000 feet you clear the Class C airspace which has a ceiling of 4,200 feet and a floor at 1,400 feet or within the surface area Class C is from the surface to 4,200 feet. So you can legally fly right over the top, but wise to have a VHF Radio on towers 125.90 Freq. to give them a heads up you are transitioning West to East over the TOP. Also when traveling between 359 Deg. and 179 degrees your are required to maintain a VFR altitude of 9,500 Feet or 11,500. At 10,000" that is a IFR altitude for westerly traffic. Start Safe, Stay Safe.
Yikes. As someone who wants to try paramotoring, and then possibly take it up as a sport, that's very complicated. I suppose then find a. UK trainer who covers aviation regulations.
We see huge jets get into trouble in the wake of other jets while taking off... I sure wouldn't want to be anywhere close to a jet's wake while flying in one of those Paramotors!
@@kazikoFPV The gullible are easily deceived. Those who can set true and real records care enough about truth and honesty to SHOW the GPS speed the whole time as they turn back and forth over and over so you can see it change as it shows exactly the up wind and down wind speed. I once flew a powered parachute - airspeed 26 MPH - to a private airstrip fifty miles south of my home airport, in less than an hour. When I took off, there was no wind at ground level, but the higher I got, the faster I went. I made the whole trip at about 4,000 feet, at over 60 MPH. I had already planned to stay at that private strip overnight, which is a good thing, as I could have never returned into such a headwind. I could have tried to return by flying low, but the headwind was pretty strong, even only a hundred feet up. I miss flying...
Awesome. Just a note though. On wi st, the gusts are only stating the highest registered gust at 10m above the ground in the last three hours. They don't give you the gust info for altitude.
So, I've been watching a lot of VASAviation, and found this becasue I was wondering about people travelling/commuting via paramotor/lightweight craft. Do you have any responsibility to communicate with ATC that regular heavy craft have to? Do you have to submit flight plans?
Isn't there usually bad turbulence when the wind is that strong? Were you worried about a collapse? I've heard Paramotors can only be flown in light winds.
