She's talking about Apple trying to shift 18% of its production to India by 2025. By 2025, palki would be talking about why Apple failed to turn India as its manufacturing base. She was telling everyone back in 2020 that 20,000 companies will move out of China, only to ask everyone why companies couldn't decouple from China late last year
Apple isn't making one country it's manufacturing base, they are keeping their options open and there would be a limit on how much apple expands. Don't talk as if you know everything Companies have moved out of China and the country has seen its manufacturing activity shrink, there's no data out there that proves otherwise. China's manufacturing PMI is below 50, along with Vietnam. Those 20000 companies need not always enter India, there isn't a surety on this Decoupling doesn't happen overnight, it happens when companies successfully rebuilt supply chains in new companies, pushing China aside. You lack understanding of economics
Trump's tech wars with China 🇨🇳 was meant to curb Chinese high-tech ambitions. - But, China’s high-tech exports, which account for about 5% of China’s overall exports a decade ago, have continued to grow rapidly to almost 40% last year. - Moreover, the share of hi-tech exports handled by foreign-invested enterprises in China, fell from 70% in 2011 to just 15% in 2022. - Indicating that China 🇨🇳 itself is now a major high-tech player globally

lol, China only does very low end manufacturing. They just assemble parts with their slave labor. All the high end components are made in Japan, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, etc... For example the comac919 that they call their "first home grown" commercial jet they are so proud of is made up of over 80% parts from the west. Now that the entire civilized world is decoupling from them, they will be cut off from all these components, not just chips. Then they can steal all the IP they want but they will never be able to get the parts they need to make their shitty Chinese copies.😁😆😂

Modi may have enticed 8000 companies to move to India a few years ago, but after they found out the reality 2700+ companies has quit and left. Companies started moving back to China, Vietnam. Palki, tell your audience the truth, the whole truth and not half of it. India rips off these companies and the law governing these investing companies are not there, quite troublesome.

Hahaha, this Palki is always anti-China, wonder why and also she lied a lot about China. Even called Covid19 virus 'Wuhan virus', where it may actually originated from US.
Problem with India is they get upset and jealous when foreign companies make money in India. Makes them feel exploited and cheated and so start thinking of ways and means of taxing and milking these foreign companies until they give up and leave. That’s how India won the reputation for being the graveyard of foreign investors.❤
Indians only value short-term benefits and do not pay attention to long-term planning. When we do business with Indians, they always boast excessively. In the end, they only ask us to send a sample, and even do not pay for it. Indians feel that they have received some small benefits, but your country's credit will become worthless
If foreign factories moved out of China a decade ago, it would be devastating for China. NOT so today. Foreign entities only make up 10% of China's exports as of today. In other words, Chinese companies are now the major contributor of China's exports. Take Samsung for example, it shifted its production out of China since 2016 but today, Chinese smartphone brands account for 67% of global sales.
😂😂 Good lecture but I am afraid its fake. If China doesn’t care about foreign companies then why CCP lobbying to Tesla and Apple to keep manufacturing there. Malaysia and Singapore used to be manufacture centres of US high tech companies. I built a factory for Intel in Penang, Malaysia. Some 30 years, these US companies moved to China because of lower cost in China then. I fit out Dell Computer's first factory in Xiamen, China. Many Taiwanese companies also moved their factories to China because of lower cost. After 30-40 years of economic growth, China had moved up the manufacturing food chain. Its labour cost is no longer competitive even after accounting for manufacturing efficiency. The labour intensive and assembly type of manufacturing industry profit margin is very low. Something like 5%. China is looking for industries and manufacturing work that provide better return and profit. India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, etc can have those low profit margin industries. China is a very productive country. India has to go a long way to catch up. By then entire financial market may swing to China. The fact that they are moving to India tells me China's economy is shifting going more inwards. I think we are seeing inflation in USA, dont see an escape here. They will still be in China, they are just diversifying.
Actually you are not far from wrong. By doing so, you give jobs to the people there and help alleviate poverty, like how China has done. When the basic needs of the people are taken care of, they will find no reason to protest. In India, the politicians are all thinking of their own electorates even if they already have a high GDP in the state. They don't even give a hoot about the underdeveloped regions This is another reason why India will never reach China's level of development. India doesn't make an effort to spread wealth but to hoard it
Some facts about China's 🇨🇳 Belt and Road Initiative: - As of January 2023, 151 countries were signed up to the BRI. - The idea of BRI as a debt trap diplomacy was first created by an Indian 🇮🇳 think tank, coined by Indian🐂 academic Brahma🙋🏿♂️ Chellaney in 2017 to describe what he called China's "predatory lending practices", which "overwhelm poor countries with unsustainable loans and force them to cede strategic leverage to China". - The irony is, India 🇮🇳 is a member of China's Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank AIIB, which makes India technically a full member of China's BRI in all but name. Receiving tens of billions worth of infrastructure funding in India from this bank alone. - Indians say this, do that. Everyone knows, including stray cows 🐄 roaming freely on Indian streets

In the changing global business scenero, only being a manufacturing hub of big brands is not enough unless there is home grown brand that can compete in global market.
As long as India allows foreign military bases on its territory, India is a colony. It will develop only inside the boundaries set by its master. Look at Germany: they could develop the most successful industry in Europe but when the master said "No Nord Stream", well... you know what happened and now German industry is in tatters: Germany is being de-industrialized. Do you want India to end up like Germany?
There are only two superpowers in this world. Like it or not you have to be ally of one of them. Each country chooses which alliance will be most beneficial for their country’s interest. Germany benefited greatly from alliance with USA, they have preferential access to US market since end of WWII and its main divers of their growth. Unfortunately Germany started doing business with Russia which were having negative impact on US interest. Germany was punished for this move. You can’t have a cake and eat a cake.
@@Loverofmagicdrinks OK then India please leave BRICS, since, as you wrote, "You can’t have a cake and eat a cake.". Anyway you miss that if Germany could develop its industry it was exactly thanks to cheap energy coming from Russia. And BTW Russia has been a significant market for German products (and this market has been lost to obey the master). No more cheap energy for Germany -> de-industrialization in favor of their master, the USA.
India has foreign military bases on its soil ? That's new to me. But just to clarify : even before the USSR fell, West Germany was the first economy in the EEC . During the Cold War, oil and gas were exported to Europe. Yes, Germany did invest heavily in russia after that. After Fukushima, they decided to close the nuclear plants. Which, imo is good. But still keep relying on the russian gas and coal. It's counterintuitive, but on renewables, they are very much in advance. As China. The Nord Stream was bound to be a disaster. Btw, there's gas that flows from russia to Hungary and a few other countries through Ukraine ! India buys oil cheap, 30% discount, refines it, and sells it to Europe at market prices. China keeps it for itself because they need to.
@@1000ciels hahah wtf I’m not from India, I’m European. 🤣🤣 No, you are missing the point russian zombie. Germany didn’t develop industry because of cheap russian energy. Germany wanted to stay competitive because of cheap russian energy, at the same time becoming distributor of russian gas on Europe. Watch less russian propaganda russian zombie and stop killing Ukrainians.
@@coucoubrandy1079 "India has foreign military bases on its soil ? That's new to me. " It seems you don't read the news, do you? Read e.g. "US to make India into naval logistics hub for Indo-Pac region. The building up of Indian ship repair capability would serve to bolster allied forces operating in the Indo-Pacific region." "After Fukushima, they decided to close the nuclear plants. " and the USA didn't, does it ring a bell? "The Nord Stream was bound to be a disaster." for the USA and that's why they got it blown. Cheap Russian energy + strong German industry = big danger for the USA supremacy. "India buys oil cheap, 30% discount, refines it, and sells it to Europe at market prices." European transportation relies significantly on diesel imported from India, and India imported Russian oil to refine it and produce that diesel. So basically in Europe they still use Russian energy, the only difference is that they pay much more money for it. The sanctions are obviously a ludicrous failure.

The biggest problem for Indians is their integrity. They are unpunctual, unfaithful and even deprive foreign companies of their legitimate property through magical laws. These are all problems in India. The biggest problem is that India adopts high-standard legislation, universal law enforcement and selective law enforcement. This kind of bureaucratic and legal problems is one of the problems. The third is that India's so-called democracy is a joke. If we change a political party in recent years, how can we achieve concerted development if each party suppresses others for its own interests. Chinese society has evolved for thousands of years through the feudal stage, and this society is well adapted to centralization and elite rule. China's consistent Confucian culture has created the idea of great unity, and great men want to live in peace. Do you see what kind of cultural development in modern society besides the Anglo-Saxons is best suited to industrialization? The answer is Confucian culture that includes Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan, and, of course, China. Confucian culture keeps people in the middle of the mean, makes people benevolent and just, and allows people to coexist peacefully and share benefits. What has India done? Modi came to power on the basis of Hinduism. He believes that Muslims are heretics and do not give them citizenship. Do you think these people are really not Indians? When you don't have a little tolerance, how can you unite the people of the whole country for common development and prosperity? By the way, do you know what is happening in China and Vietnam? It is Vietnam's recent extremely high temperature that leads to a shortage of industrial production, while China's Guangxi high-voltage cable keeps transmitting electricity to Vietnam. China has not suppressed Vietnam's industrial production because of Vietnam in difficult times, because he knows that in today's globalization, Vietnam's development is beneficial to everyone, and what is India doing? Does India have a good relationship with the neighboring country? Indians should think about this problem carefully.
India is a huge potential market, the average income of a large percentage of that market is an issue. Reliable energy grids could also affect efficiency in manufacturing.

According to a World🌎 Bank Research 2022, - AI assisted automation in manufacturing would wipe out almost 90% of all factory 🏭 workers by 2030 - Major exporting countries like Germany🇩🇪 and China🇨🇳 would stand to gain the most in terms of higher productivity and lower costs of production. They're investing heavily on AI. - Developing countries with a growing population such as India🇮🇳 would be deprived the opportunity to industrialise and remain poor, forever 😢
According to an IMF research AI still has a way to go in order to be developed enough to disrupt the current process of production. This won't be happening anywhere near 2030. Same predictions were also made in 2015. But we are in 2023 and nothing has changed vastly.
A wishful thinking. India has a lot of internal problems that need to be fixed first. Not impossible but a lot of tasks in good faith need to be done first. India has the potential as a large population but they are divided by old-school petty politics.

- It's a game changer that would bring progress and development to the world
- It would reduce the influence of former colonial powers

So true! And people at all time calling China to set up a debt trap, isn't it funny that you think you borrow money and don't need to pay back! And go comparing the interest IMF and China charge respectively, you will find China has mercy. As for the typical example of Sri Lanka people like to claim, the reason of their bankruptcy was because China was willing to help them with a plan to sort out the debt , but they didn't want to follow (Laos followed, and they are sorted now), besides, they had this bizarre idea of growing organic crops, which turned out to be unsuitable and failure for the country's need.
Some facts about China's 🇨🇳 Belt and Road Initiative:
- As of January 2023, 151 countries were signed up to the BRI.

The building up of Indian ship repair capability would serve to bolster allied forces operating in the Indo-Pacific region."
"After Fukushima, they decided to close the nuclear plants.

The use of the term "Middle East Respiratory Syndrome" in 2015 sparked controversy, leading to resistance against specific religious and ethnic groups, creating unreasonable travel, business, and trade barriers, and triggering unnecessary slaughter of certain animals. The World Health Organization (WHO) later issued guidelines stating that the naming of new coronaviruses should not include geographical locations, personal names, animals, food names, or references to specific cultures or industries.
Even amidst intense competition with China, neither the U.S. government nor the U.S. media used the term "Wuhan virus." Currently, only the Indian media continues to use it, highlighting the moral deficiency of the users.

It's a lot of wishful thinking Palki. No one is deserting China. Esp. India no way
According to a World🌎 Bank Research 2022,
- AI assisted automation in manufacturing would wipe out almost 90% of all factory 🏭 workers by 2030
- Major exporting countries like Germany🇩🇪 and China🇨🇳 would stand to gain the most in terms of higher productivity and lower costs of production. They're investing heavily on AI.
- Developing countries with a growing population such as India🇮🇳 would be deprived the opportunity to industrialise and remain poor, forever 😢
Fool without produce to consume no Software can survive
According to an IMF research AI still has a way to go in order to be developed enough to disrupt the current process of production. This won't be happening anywhere near 2030. Same predictions were also made in 2015. But we are in 2023 and nothing has changed vastly.

What this anchor forgot to tell her audience, most factories that are moving out of China, they're Chinese companies. Mostly labour intensive manufacturing enterprises. Due to rising wages in China, shortages of low skilled labour and geopolitical tensions. Take the garments industry in Bangladesh for example, most of them are Chinese contract manufacturers.
