I notice some spelling differences on a few words that you could comment on for example pay money / pay the bill is จ่ายตัง but google translator uses จ่ายตังค์ with the silent ค์ on the end. Do you know why? I have also seen other differences like in เมื่อไหร่ versus เมื่อไร. I think this is for the interrogative preposition vesrus the adverb but would like confirmation of that.

I apologize for the confusion. I believe you are asking why is the Thai word "ผม" pronounced with "o" sound even though there's no written vowel, right? The reason is the presence of an invisible saraโอะ(โอะ(O) vowel). This vowel becomes visible when a final consonant is added to the word. As the general rule, if a word has the vowel saraโอะ(โอะ(O) vowel) but doesn't come with a final consonant, we can write it normally, like "โผะ" (pò). However, when a word like "โผะ" (pò) adds a final consonant, such as "ม," it should be "โผะม" right? In practice, though, we remove โ-ะ and just write "ผม," pronounced as "pŏm."
