Absolutely love Dweezil, his positivity, his humor, his generosity, his plain bad-ass musical brilliance - in the face of the utter crap he's had to deal with from the rest of the Zappa clan. 🤘✊👊
I’m 55 and can do 55 in a row. I made a challenge around 5 years ago. I call it the Triple P.- The Polcare Push-up Palooza. 20 pushups every 15 minutes for eight hours. I’ve completed it 4 times.
I like those the push up the ice-cream thingies. You munch the ice cream and push up more ice cream with your tunmb. You know what I'm talking about? its a thing they sell ya.
@@jesusislukeskywalker4294 I noticed that jesus probably really IS Luke Skywalker because he CAME BACK. It took more than 3 days, but...still! You probably hear this all the time.
This is very different than your regular guitar player exercise...i commend you on this physical challenge and throw down the caution flag. 🚧 But if you want to really take a challenge go with pull ups, and again I'll throw down the caution flag.... Once over 50 years old, there are dangers of severe injury that takes longer to heal. Try: one pull up, 30 seconds up, 30 seconds down. Slow as you go 💪 I'm 69 and can do one pullup. Hey if you're serious about getting 55 pushups in one set you'll want to do 70% - 85% of your current max set (30 to 35) 3 times a workout. Workout every 2nd or 3rd day depending on soreness/fatigue. Week to week you'll want to increase the reps by 2 or 3, occasionally trying variations of the width of your palms so that your hitting different parts of the muscle. Variations will help you avoid tendonitis. You can also add dips, bench press and skull crushers to strengthen the triceps and chest, but explaining that would make this comment too long. I hope it goes well for you!
Push-ups and guitars can make life sexier and stringier. Without push-ups one is potentially stringier, take away the guitar as well and one is stringless too. Double not well.
Dweezil is awesome! His positive attitude is contagious!
Dweezil is so damn likeable, not to mention humble and a killer player!!!
Right on, good luck.👍👍
Happy birthday, Dweezil!
Be careful doing the pushups too soon. I did the same thing years ago and ended up with bursitis that froze my shoulder.
Great advice ! always warm up, specially at our age (50's).
I know it already happened, but I’m in! For Dweezil! 🤜🏻 it’s still September!

I used to do 50 in a row 22 yrs ago. now probably 25
I'll eat 55 of those orange cream push ups! Wait, what is this?!
40 to go. I could only manage 15 at the age of 56. I've never been in a gym. Listening to music is way healthier :-)
Can you play after that? >.

The other dudes, like, take a nap while Walter and Dweez pump. But 55? Work to be done. Add 1 each day. That is what I would do if I had muscles.

Haven't posted it yet. Coming soon.
@@thedweezilzappa I will assume you rocked right past 55...I will watch for the video. #oldguysrock 🤘
You're doing better than me at 62, with 39 of em, man, I can only do like 15 anymore, probably should start exercising again. 🤔
How about 55 muscle-ups?
I can only do 10 of those.
@@thedweezilzappa Awesome! That's a great complement to your chops. I'm a big FZ fan and really appreciate your work.

You can double it by then
