i bought one to eliminate the lag on take off, needless to say take off isnt what i thought it would be, to say the least, by a real tuner from diablo that you can tune other things among throttle response.
Trent Fowler You can tune your throttle with a Diablo but you don't get anywhere near the throttle boost the PC provides. A lot of people are using the Diablo for tuning, and the PC for their throttle.
The PC is not a tuner. It's purely for throttle control and it is far more adjustable and more responsive as far as the throttle than what you'll get from using the throttle boost feature on a tuner. Many people are using the Pedal Commander in addition to a tuner and getting the best of both worlds so to speak.
Question: does the pedal commander work better on stock 2012 1500 ram/ i plan on doing Moes 274 cam , long tube header, 4.10's. 87mm intake throttle, and intake ported manifold and diablio tune. Or is it a good thing to get with a bunch of add on and tune or would it be a waste of monies?
Curtis Parker From what I've heard it plays well with other things such as tuners. I'd recommend both. Tuners do have a throttle boost feature but that doesn't offer the fine tuning and range the pedal commander does. I've had my PC for awhile now and I don't think I'd want to have another truck without it.
It's still alive. The facebook page isn't as active as it used to be but it's still a great resource for the Mopar community in Iowa. We don't do meet-and-greets and those kinds of things as much anymore because it's difficult to get people to show up to things. One month you'd have a huge group show up, the next like 3-4 cars show up.
DIGITAL DOBERMAN I've had it since June and been using it since I've installed it. I love it. Love having no dead spot in my gas pedal, no lag when I push the gas. Feels like a 400hp truck should.
SHiBBY927 that's nice it saves the last setting. My question is does it have to be manually turned on every time you start the car or will it turn on automatically?
9712vcummins It's always on when you start your vehicle. You never have to turn it on because it's plugged into the throttle wiring and always has power going to it when the vehicle is on.
I just got my pedal Commander. Holy god it’s amazing. I installed it before work and made myself late because I didn’t want to stop driving and changing the settings! Took two minutes to install. Pedal Commander should pay us for this free advertising. Lol. Seriously worth it, my Raptor is doing burn outs!
Custom made it's more expensive. Since mine was a one-off kind of thing it was like $30 if I remember correctly. There have been some badges popping up on Ebay thought that are only like $4 or $5 that I saw on the Ram Forum.
Sorry for the very late response Robert, I rarely log into this youtube account anymore. I bought my Pedal Commander through Moe's Performance. www.moes-performance.com/
Evan W There's an Eco mode but it's not recommended to use it as the computer on the RAMs doesn't seem to much care for it. You'll get the same MPGs as long as you're not putting the hammer down. Honestly for me I feel like the increased throttle response makes it easier for me when I'm trying to maintain a speed because there's no lag, I'm never searching for for the sweet spot in the gas pedal.
The only thing that I question about this product is that when you go to buy it you have to choose year 07 and up. I have a 17 ram that's a ten year difference.
mikecav878 The PC is just a throttle controller. Fuel economy is all in how you drive your truck. I will say this, if you boost your throttle and drive in Sport for example, it eliminates the dead spot in your gas pedal. At least from my perspective this allows me a better measure of control when trying to maintain a speed. I think in that regard you might see some miniscule gains in fuel economy.
Zack Kamerow www.rebadgedesign.com for custom one-off stuff. I've seen some shift knob decals (badges) on Ebay as well. There are some pretty cool ones for like $4.00 on there, just search ram shift knob decal.
I just got mine and installed it on my 16 GT Mustang...OMG...overwhelmed...Check out my latest Video..i do get a little excited tho...i was blown away over Sport mode..had to tame it down to City +4....Nice Vid..Thanks for sharing..Let me know what you think of my Vid
Nice review. Great questions and answers as well, convinced me to give it a try.
Great video! I get mine tomorrow for my Raptor!
You'll love it. Really wakes up that throttle.
Great video!! definitely need this for my ram to remove some of the dead pedal i get with the six speed
mthlaxer Thanks. The PC really makes a world of difference.
Thanks for the vid I was on the fence now I'm definitely getting one! I was like you the other videos weren't really put together well very unclear.👍🏼

Great video. You answered all my questions about it. No offense man, but your voice sounds just like Dave Ramsey (financial guru).
Gary J Haha no offense taken. First time I've heard that comparison made though!
Lol you’re right it does!
Hi where did u get big horn shifter knob at??

Do you have to set it every time you turn your truck on or does it save your last setting?
Big Huch Saves your most recent setting but you can adjust on the fly.
Well I see there isn't much of a update any more on the group. Is the car group alive anymore?

How long have you driven with the pedal commander and are you still using it
DIGITAL DOBERMAN I've had it since June and been using it since I've installed it. I love it. Love having no dead spot in my gas pedal, no lag when I push the gas. Feels like a 400hp truck should.
Still using it to this day.
do you have to manually enter the setting everytime the car is started? or does it remember your preferred setting from the last time you set it?
User 917 It keeps the same setting last used saved so you don't have to set it every time.
SHiBBY927 that's nice it saves the last setting. My question is does it have to be manually turned on every time you start the car or will it turn on automatically?

Super88 \m/ Glad to see you're enjoying it. It's amazing how unresponsive the factory throttle setting is on these new trucks.
Where'd u get ur shifter knob cover??
www.rebadgedesign.com
How much was it?
Custom made it's more expensive. Since mine was a one-off kind of thing it was like $30 if I remember correctly. There have been some badges popping up on Ebay thought that are only like $4 or $5 that I saw on the Ram Forum.
Bro don’t tell me these things 😂😂😂😂 im gonna get one and go crazy on the sport+ 😅
If you turn the pedal commander off, will it return the throttle response to stock?
Chandler Hogan Yes, it goes right back to stock setting.
Do you have a custom tune installed?
The Great Empire!! Nope. Not yet anyways.
What’s the website you got it from nice video
Sorry for the very late response Robert, I rarely log into this youtube account anymore. I bought my Pedal Commander through Moe's Performance. www.moes-performance.com/
Does it help any with gas efficiency?
Evan W There's an Eco mode but it's not recommended to use it as the computer on the RAMs doesn't seem to much care for it.

SHiBBY927 yeah that's my current issue. I ended up buying a Titan Pro 4x over the Ram Sport last week, but they both have the same lag issue.
The only thing that I question about this product is that when you go to buy it you have to choose year 07 and up. I have a 17 ram that's a ten year difference.
Cody Bertrand Same here did you buy one?
Should work just fine. Works on 3rd and 4th Gen Ram trucks to the best of my knowledge.
What's the impact on fuel economy?
mikecav878 The PC is just a throttle controller. Fuel economy is all in how you drive your truck. where did you get the shifter emblem?
Zack Kamerow www.rebadgedesign.com for custom one-off stuff.
I've seen some shift knob decals (badges) on Ebay as well. There are some pretty cool ones for like $4.00 on there, just search ram shift knob decal.
299$! LMAO
ubbgn Got mine discounted for far less. Let me guess, you're of the tuner crowd that thinks a Diablo offers the same feature?
It sure works good. but the housing is so ugly.
John WasistdasfüreineScheiße Yeah I kind of wish they had some different color options instead of the yellow.
Don't need that shit on my silverado.
Matthew Bergman Cool story bro.
15 minutes of talking about the length of the wiring and the box.... GET TO THE POINT!
Don't watch it if you don't like it
