In most cases not. As it is easily removable and does not affect your car computer.

Unfortunately there is a big lie told here in the fact that you cannot change the mode/settings while driving, but as with just about most tuners it is the same so not a deal breaker at all in my opinion. The Power Commander should be the very first mod you do to your vehicle hands down. And vehicles over in the middle east are unrestricted such as no rev limiter, no governor, etc... If it says it'll do 160MPH on the Speedo then better believe it'll do it.

It does make a difference and you can change the mode while driving, tried them all on a stable acceleration, it did make a big difference
Dont forget 2015+ ram trucks has locked pcms and many people around cares for the warranty, so instead of tuning and adding thousands on their trucks they go for a pedal commander (which it is not a tune/tuner)
