    Thank you so much for another Great Product Review. Just Wondering, is it ok to use the Paint Cleanser for removing light scratch on B-Pillar (with hand method) or removing any coating on glass. Sincerely, Every time I learned a lot of detailing knowledge from your youtube video as a Weekend hobby detailer.

    • @Detailing_Dogma
      @Detailing_Dogma  3 дня назад +1

      Hey thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot. It'll work great on glass for sure as it did on paint. For B-Pillars it's hard to say, you would probably need couple different pads to get a perfect finish and many many passes with low pressure in the finishing steps, as always for paint correction a machine is always best, but Paint Cleanser works great for the thick stuff. Give it a try and let me know! cheers ✌️

    Great one Frank. I have been wondering how the Gyeon Total Remover was. That's convenient in a spray form. That would be a game changer if it works as it is intended. I love to try new and different products, especially sealants and waxes so the Gyeon spray would be a great product to use before putting on another type of sealant. The BOLA Solutions product reminds me of the more traditional "pre wax cleansers" on the market (some of which are called "Liquid Clay") which are more like a polish you use with your DA or rotary. To me, the spray solution is a better option as you can work faster. I am definitely going to buy a bottle of the Gyeon Total Remover. I'll probably pick up the BOLA also as I do like using pre-wax cleansers from time to time as sometimes they do some minor polishing at the same time. Thanks for taking your valuable time to present these incredible reviews Frank. You are my favorite detailing channel on RUclips.

      Total Remover did awesome in the test, pretty cool product to start fresh, hope you like it.
      And yeah 100% agree, Bola is a new twist on pre-cleaner or cleaner-wax without the wax haha. A versatile hand polish since it wont mare the paint when used with the right applicator.

    Frank you bought the right pH meter with 3 pH calibration and corrected for temperature. I have the same meter. I would like you take a 3-8 year coating with a wider pH range such as DIY coating and see if it removes it since the pH rating is down to 1. I believe it is a lite coating remover and sealant. What would be also good test would be can it remove a high spot say on coating after 1-3 days it was applied . Great review.

      Hey Steve, same here exactly, carzilla sent those out I know PoorBoys stripper was quite popular many years ago so I did jump on that trend, it's popular on carzilla store as well. For guys with matte/satin wheels or body that is a gem, or let's say you dont want to spend hours polishing wheels it can useful when recoat is needed. Especially considering that GYEON tested it to be safe for clear coat. Cheers my brother Steve ✌️

      Hey geddy, I totally get it, i'm for wearing gloves. I dont always mention it but when it comes to filming with a camera I dont my fingers to work on a Touchscreen to ajust focus and buttons obviously. Glove tends to stay wet and don't mix well with camera button, mine is not 100% sealed for weather. I extremely conscious to get the harsh products on my hands and wash between camera shots. Hope that answers your concern, cheers.

    It's possible that the hydrophobic properties are gone but a glass coating of a ceramic coating is still there. I don't know if this is good enough for a new ceramic coating or should polish for having like a virgin clearcoat surface to have a coating to go onto. I bought TotalRemover in March and just used it a few weeks ago on my father's new Chevrolet Trailblazer that was 1 week old at the time. After a car wash, We used it to remove the presentation detailing wax kinda thing off. He did not purchase any multi-year paint sealants or ceramic coating from the dealer. So then after another wash and panel prep spray job we put on the new car Gyeon Syncho EVO (MOHS + SKIN) kit on and I guess time will tell to see if the bond was good in that case.

    • @Detailing_Dogma
      @Detailing_Dogma  3 дня назад +2

      Hey John good point, I always polish before coating, I did make an exception in some cases for 1 year products, the prep for those doesnt have to as critical but yes polishing is the way . These products are ''good to have'' as emergency or satin paint, wheels, non-polishing garage detailer etc. Let me know how your Mohs is holding up with your process and check out next week video it's gonna be about MOHS evo after 14months. Thank you

    • @mikeeonfiya
      @mikeeonfiya 3 дня назад +1

      @johns4407
      Hi John. Frank answered this but I’d like to chime in if I may.
      Remember that the coatings give off a certain surface tension, giving it the lotus effect, or hydrophobic properties as we know it.
      If you remember back then we learned about the 3 bonds in chemistry class.
      Hydrogen bond, ionic bond and covalent bond.
      Covalent bond is the strongest, where the molecules shares a valence electron.
      In the coating, there is a silane leg; this portion of the molecule shares its valence electron to the paint, thus you have a proper bond, and overall lotus effect (well, among polydimethysiloxane portions that cross-links on top of the silane legs).
      So, all you need to know is that the lotus effect, or hydrophobic properties, is only possible when the coating is bonded to the paint.
      These chemicals disrupted the covalent bonds. So the coatings and probably flushed away during the rinse.
      I’m only speaking on behalf of MOHS coating as you mentioned. I know that MOHS is polysilozane, and in that name you can spot the nearly identical “silane” part.

      Hey Flow thank you, I appreciate your trust. I havent seen other people videos but the product needs some dwelling 1 to 3 mins and agitate with a clean media, not a wash mitt full of soap to be the most effective. It worked awesome as shown in the video. I'm guessing they havent used it properly and/or had reasons for the product to fail maybe? I'm determined to show you true results regardless of my bias. Cheers brother.

    just started watching your channel. i think in the first test you should have used some other products first like APC or just some PH neutral shampoo to prove it was a stubborn mark unlikely to be removed by 'normal' means. The test didnt really prove anything and it was only the BOLA that could remove the scuffs. Just my thoughts 👍

    • @Detailing_Dogma
      @Detailing_Dogma  3 дня назад

      Hey man I get where you're coming from, i didnt film the wash of the golf, in fact I didn't notice that scuff before starting to film, keep in mind theres sometimes 200 files for one video like this one so I have to keep the video rolling and keep people engage, if we dig too deep in too many details we lose people and the video plummets, youtube stop pushing it and I end up losing my time. So people have attention deficit because of shorts, ig and tiktok so we have to blast through the content with ton of moving parts so i'm cutting a lot of footage, hope you get it. Bola removes coatings and tar, black scuff and waterspots I didnt even put in there, what do you mean, the test didnt prove anything lolz?

    • @Killswitch85
      @Killswitch85 3 дня назад

      @@Detailing_Dogma sorry I just meant that yes the product removed the mark, but any other product might have done a similar job. If the test was just to show that it could then yes it worked and worked well. If the test was to show that it's a superior product to others then to me it didn't really prove anything. Like i say. Just my thoughts :) P.S a test on high spots would be great. I had plenty on my ST the first time and it was a nightmare to tidy up with a polisher!

    • @Detailing_Dogma
      @Detailing_Dogma  2 дня назад +1

      @@Killswitch85 np, but yes I explained I would use a polisher. I was showing what it is capable of and explained for who it is for. Of course most of our products can do similar and same stuff. Cheers
