Debbie is such a happy, radiant woman that her facial disfigurement is quickly forgotten. She is making me understand something about myself. I have been self-conscious about my artificial eye all my life and have spent the last 1,5 years to medically improve it. Funnily people never seemed to notice even the weird eye I had before. All they saw and see now is my happy disposition and my contagious laugh.
I feel sorrow for women who feel that they aren’t going to get attention or love because of how they look. I’m 47 years old (female) and it took me all of this life to realise that it’s ALWAYS what you have on the inside and your own inner attitude that makes you feel valued. Appearance is superficial. Your heart and values are what matters most of all ♥️
Its not just people putting themselves through unnecessary procedures to look good, it's also a major issue spending out of the family budget on something that really should on better things, making memories on family holidays etc, hours and hours every day spent away from her kids, its just so sad.
Same here, I remember feeling like this is my early 40s after my marriage breakup, no confidence

Please change the name of the show! None of the people with facial disfigurements are BEASTS! Debbie is such a beautiful, confident person and Amanda seems to have some deep seeded psychological issues…. How typically ironic!
Wow i didn't even see that until I read your comment. You are absolutely right! That is just horrible. They really couldn't come up with a more appropriate name. That is just sad! 😧☹️
@@Sidsebissethis was uploaded 5 years ago but I'm pretty sure this was filmed in the early 2000s. Now it is definitely an inappropriate title back then this was how they grabbed your attention with some crazy title. Names like this for shows were fairly common back then. In the tabloids, magazines, TV shows all for that shock value. Doesn't make it right but I'm pretty sure this was from 20 years ago when this was a normal ttitle. Actually compared to a lot of Jerry springer shows and other day time TV this title wouldn't seem inappropriate at all lol no wonder millenials have issues with our identities when everything was labeled a shocker like this or the opposite (all about being hot and thin and tan and blonde) no wonder we have ppl identifying as lampposts and dragons! Everyone wants to be more "shocking" the the last person! Haha and yes the only beasts in this episode are the fake women obsessed with vanity and the beauties are Debbie and Jade who love themselves regardless
Few women are going to meet their life partner in a night club situation. Men go hoping to "score." A woman dressed proactively with her boobs all over the place are saying "I'm game." Yes, looks are a part of it but a relationship based only on looks will be short lived. Look at all the beautiful celebrities whose marriages last a couple of years if that. Shared ideals and common interests are a big part of a relationship.
I met my husband in a club and we’ve been together for over 10 years. Many of my friends met the same way and they’ve been together 15+ years. It’s less about vapid looks in a club and more about meeting doing something both parties love (music, dancing) and honestly couples who dance together definitely stay together (my mother in law and my grandparents say the same) ❤️
I don’t really agree, I don’t think looks have anything to do with what you want as in a serious relationships. That’s just people being judgemental one minded. Especially in this modern time where fashion is very prominent in young girls.
Unfortunately yes. But that could be through her unhappiness, emptiness and low self esteem. When she glows on the inside, she will glow on the outside.
She a good looking woman but the sadness in her heart shows. I also think she should lighten her hair, not blonde, no way but with lighter and warmer tones put through it because her dark dark hair makes her face look quite harsh. Warmer & lighter tones would brighten her up beautifully and better suit her complexion. Absolutely loved Debbie too and both families are wonderful. Shed a few tears watching this, so many touching moments.
Amanders daughter is beautiful I hope she doesn’t go down that path like her. Mum needs to go for help, she could have a devastating affect on her daughter and it’s sad. She needs to learn to like herself, no one else can do that. It’s called self worth. Debbie is a beautiful person, inside and out.

Amanda has some serious issues that she needs to get therapy for to work through. I feel sad for her kids, especially her daughter who seems more mature than her mother.

She actually looks more aged after treatments and surgery than before... Women forget that it's the more natural healthy look that makes you look younger not the posey skinny surgery look... Even the eyebrows they give away an older age straight away young girls with a natural youthuful look have thicker natural eyebrows and it works and you'll need them when you're older this look won't favour you in your old age 😬 It's sad she doesn't even look that happy genuinely.

Sorry but I laughed when the 'beauty addict' said she would be upset waking up with Debbie's face every morning...oh. my. gawd. I thought the same when I looked at Amanda's face. Debby looks fine, because character dictates what you look like to people. It really does.

If I was Amanda I would have prioritized getting my teeth done- a beautiful smile is more attractive to me than huge boobs. But really I feel she needs good friends and to work on building her self esteem. She is already a beautiful woman ❤ Edit...I wrote the above after the first 10 mins and now I have watched the whole video I want to say how delightful Debbie is and how beautiful and loving her family is. I really felt for Amanda when she felt the need to escape from Debbies home the first day- she felt so confronted by the happiness she saw which she so desperately wants in her own life. I think meeting Debbie was the best thing that could have happened to her and I hope they remain friends. And I hope Amanda will really embody what she has learnt from this experience to move forward and find happiness inside herself. Debbie also appears to have benefitted from their time together. What an empowering video! ❤
I could never imagine risking my life time after time to have cosmetic surgery when I had three children who were dependent on me alone as a single parent.
I would like to know what Amanda does for work?. I can understand why she left with such sad emotions:Amanda is looking for the same happiness and love, and realizing she is on the wrong track for her fairy tale love story correction perfect love story “.
I definitely feel for her as well. She does seem to put in a lot of work and resources and it does lift her spirits a bit. I'm sure a therapist would be able to tell if this was truly working towards her achieveing her happiness or if it was turning into a bad coping mechanism. This series would've benefitted from a professional's insight. Someone pointed out the teeth - which aren't an issue at all if they're a bit crooked - everyone has those. But if they turn into an issue (uneven bite that can lead to TMJ problems) then she should absolutely look into that. Maybe she wanted to but didn't get to until filming this episode - maybe she went after, who knows. Bottom line, if it turns into a bad habit that keeps you from seeking actual health and happiness, that's worth investigating and pouring time and resources into. It's different for everyone
I sympathise with both Debbie and Amanda. They’ve both been through tough ordeals. Both ladies seem really sweet. Bless their families and friends for accepting Amanda and Debbie for who they are.
For a single mom with 3 kids, it’s pretty selfish to spend that kind of money on herself when certainly, her family could use that money. Nothing wrong with some beauty treatment but to spend money you don’t really have when your just a regular person is crazy. She seems to put her needs and wants above the kids which is really sad.
Don’t get me wrong, everyone is free to either wear or not wear makeup, be fashion conscious or have their own style or not care for fashion at all, get plastic surgery or avoid plastic surgery etc as it’s personal choice. Though it annoys me when someone is overly critical by judging others over their clothes, possessions, status, home, car, appearance etc in a shallow narrow minded way, without getting to know the person for who they are. But when vanity is taken to very unhealthy levels, that’s when therapy and support from trustworthy friends and family is required.
I am 48 and I have now realised that looks does not matter at the end of the day. In my case I was married to the 'perfect' husband (on the outside) and it turned out that he was a narcisist and my marriage was a nightmare. Now I only look at the heart in people and have found true meaningful connections. I want my kids to see that too.
Inner beauty grows all life long while outer beauty fades quickly. It sure any of these “beauty addicts” have any beauty, though. They’re all totally fake. My only sympathy is with the single mom. Someone must have hurt her badly to make her crave attention so much. There could be a nice person hidden behind that sad shell.
Amanda, you need a psychotherapie, not beauty treatments! What went wrong in your life, with such a self-destruction? Love yourself, my Dear! That' s important! ♥️ Debbie ist the most beautiful woman! Look at her brilliant smile! And such a loving family! I am so happy for you! ♥️
She only needs to fix her teeth, and she s loosing a lot of hair... She has beautiful kids (I love ginger), but looks so sad, I hope she s going to make it and find a good man. The other woman is amazing. Very emotional. Good episode
I was definitely surprised she had spent so much money on beauty treatments but didn't touch her teeth! The eyes and mouth are where people look when conversing with each other. And when I look at her eyes, all I can see is those awful lashes. If she really wants to look younger and more attractive, dropping the false eyelashes would be a HUGE improvement.
Beauty is skin deep. Even with all those cosmetic surgeries you will still age there is nothing that can stop 🛑 it. Be your natural self God doesn't look at the outside He looks at the heart ❤ Very good video thank you. I love Debbie and her family, wonderful husband and children. Love from Australia 🦘🦘🦘
@@kirsten121 yeah there’s lots of ignorant people in the world? Your point, the fact that you have to point out your teeth to validate yourself and happiness just proves my point
I don’t understand why this woman is spending so much money on beauty because she really doesn’t look that good. Plus those people that are attracted to though that kind of beauty are those the people you really want in your life? It’s superficial and it won’t last
It makes me so sad to see people spend so much time and energy worrying and obsessing about how they look, only to neglect real self care, losing themselves in the process. Self worth and confidence comes from within. Focus on your mental and physical health, and you'll also look and become your best self. When you feel good about who you are (as a person, not how you look), you'll no longer crave other people's approval, because you'll know your self worth regardless of what other people say.
Proud of you Amanda and your new found family friends. I hope to see an update sometime down the road. I hope all the best for both families and I look forward to seeing you all in the future very soon ,enjoyed your open visit thanks again for sharing.”
Amanda seems so ruined and sad. So to think that operations will make her feel better is unrealistic. She looks fake, without even knowing it😪 My new best friend is absolutly Debbie❤️
I disagree, they are not beasts, they are women who have had the stuffing knocked out of them one way or another. The May appear confident but inside they are jellies, worrying about being left alone in this world, some with the added ‘burden’ of children I don’t think they are vain, they’re just sick of never feeling ‘normal’, never having a loving partner, always feeling second best. Looking at their friends and wanting what they’ve got - not in a jealous way, just pure longing to have that little happy package that they perceive everyone but they have. They are depressed and crying inside - my heart hurts for them …
This poor woman looks like someone addicted to getting silly work done on their face. She may think it’s making her age slower, but she looks like she can’t have a natural reaction. She could be beautiful if she looked natural. She won’t find true love until she loves herself. Ever. She’ll never have a forever man until she knows how amazing she is inside. Men certainly see that. Her daughter is correct. She’s giving off the wrong impression.
Both women are very nice people. There is absolutely nothing wrong with enhancing your physical looks. It does not necessarily mean that one does not also have self-worth and depth. Don't throw everyone into the same barrel. Many people are well aware that our outer body is just the costume we where, while living as spiritual beings on the planet. At least, that is how I see things. Neither woman should base their sense of worth on a man's opinion.
Amanda thinks she's a 10, but she hasn't done a thing to get her teeth fixed, and that's the first thing I noticed about her. Maybe it's just a British thing. Overall, she doesn't really need anything done to her, she just needs a ton of therapy. It's so tragic when people base their entire value on how other people look at them. They will never be satisfied.
I don’t really care about a person’s looks, it’s the heart connection that matters to me. We can see the most beautiful person who can have the most ROTTEN SOULS. Beautiful is not your looks!!
My daughter-in-law has all those botox and fake stuff done and to be honest she looks beautiful when she is in her natural state, this woman needs to learn to love and respect herself and get rid of the rubber look, I am sure it costs a fortune
To be fair I was probably a bit like this woman in my 20 s not with all the Botox and surgery but I was so insecure and spent so much energy worrying about how I looked and despite modelling at the time couldn’t get a bf lol you get attention but attention isn’t love. It’s better to have one person love you for you than attention from 100 ppl. Now in my 40 s I still obviously want to look good and healthy for my age but I have totally just embraced who I am thankfully never went down any kind of route with cosmetics and embrace a few wrinkles here and there and the irony is now I have a rly good looking bf 12 years younger who adores me and I prob wouldn’t even have dated when I was younger. I don’t actively seek younger guys and open to all ages and looks but just using it as an example that when you love yourself that’s the key. None of these treatments will bring you love. Of course if you have spare money and enjoy them that’s a side issue but doing them to find love will never work. I just wish I had learnt to truly love myself 10 years ago!
If I was Amanda I wouldn't be blowing all the money on plastic surgery. What she needs is to get her teeth fixed and then pay for her daughters college tuition.
Gosh i thought Amanda was in her 50’s… she looked way younger in the family photos and lighter hair… that dark hair is horrible… I’d be Debbie in a heartbeat
I feel bad for the non addicts, the prejudice they might have encountered and to still have a happy view in life is so gorgeous. I had acne since my teenage years and I have been bullied cause of it it took years for me to accept myself and love myself for who I am and stop hating those who looks better than me.
Amanda's face kinda looks like its melting.and Debbie's personality makes her beautiful! amanda u were beautiful before you started doing all the surgery stuff which gives u a false image.
Please be more sensitive in the comments. Amanda probably has BDD I hope she can feel comfortable in herself and put less of her self worth into a mans view. BDD causes people to analyze others too which is why she’s projecting onto her daughter. She just needs someone to love her like Debbie has.
I woke up with Ramsay Hunt syndrome which left me with facial disfigurement and paralysis. I have trouble speaking and eating. My romantic partner took one look at me and hit the road. I am gutted, but lucky I discovered how shallow he is.
I've always wondered what makes women go to such extremes to make themselves so desirable to the world. Who really gives a fuc. What we look like apart from good higene normal clothes etc. The media has a lot to do with our perceptions of perfectionism of the body. It seems a huge waste of time and money to get so much plastic surgery not to mention the pain. Anyway who you are is going to show through no matter how you look on the outside. Well, I too spend money to look nice but I also realize being genuine is important beyond what you look like. Debbie is a genuine person who has come to accept herself and that is what we could all learn. The other lady is on the road to understanding and that's a huge step and a good one. I enjoyed your show, thank you.
Anyone know what year this is from? Im curious 😂... some of these ladies hair and makeup is... 😬😬. Sometimes less is more. Im not against enhancing beauty or getting a procedure or two, but some people completely overdo it and change their face for the worst. Its sad.
Shallow people miss out on the best experiences. They turn away if the experience isn't "pretty" enough for them. They certainly are not learning the life's lessons their souls need to learn.
how do you know they aren't experiencing what their soul needs to learn? she could have 80 years on this earth whereas some only have few so how do you know what she will learn in her lifetime

There’s some stuff I’ve learned to accept
Most of it stems from trauma from domestic violence so my face isn’t really mine
I want my old face back and when I look in the mirror I see the damage he did
Debbie in this is a beautiful woman
However it’s not really about not feeling grateful for what we hav it’s simply about learning to love yourself

@@davisholman8149 cause you’re perfect right?
I’m in the minority here, but Amanda’s voice is quite relaxing at some points
For a single mom with 3 kids, it’s pretty selfish to spend that kind of money on herself when certainly, her family could use that money. Nothing wrong with some beauty treatment but to spend money you don’t really have when your just a regular person is crazy. She seems to put her needs and wants above the kids which is really sad.
So true!
Right!
+ the amount of time she leaves her children alone + using her eldest daughter as a babysitter ...
And sadly all those treatment will only make her look older..
Seems like she has internalised her break-up and the beauty treatments are a coping mechanism.
What horrible comments Debbie is a great woman she deserves all the happiness in the world lovely family
Amanda, you need a psychotherapie, not beauty treatments! What went wrong in your life, with such a self-destruction? Love yourself, my Dear! That' s important! ♥️
Debbie ist the most beautiful woman! Look at her brilliant smile! And such a loving family! I am so happy for you! ♥️
Amanda’s daughter is gorgeous she should be a model.
We need more Debbie’s!!!
OMG when I first saw Debbie I said to myself she is so beautiful!!! What a beautiful soul. Debbie you are a very special rare and beautiful soul!
Be your natural self God doesn't look at the outside He looks at the heart ❤
Very good video thank you. I love Debbie and her family, wonderful husband and children.
Love from Australia 🦘🦘🦘
If I had awful teeth, I would prioritise getting them fixed over spray tans!
This is the kind of comment from an ignorant person who must be miserable with themselves, you really missed the whole point of the video didn’t you
@@Emily_kayy Well it would seem 47 ignorant people agree with me.
@@kirsten121 yeah there’s lots of ignorant people in the world? Your point, the fact that you have to point out your teeth to validate yourself and happiness just proves my point
@@kirsten121 lol what 💀
@@Emily_kayy Sorry, I don't speak emoji.
I don’t understand why this woman is spending so much money on beauty because she really doesn’t look that good. Plus those people that are attracted to though that kind of beauty are those the people you really want in your life? It’s superficial and it won’t last
Why spend thousands on body.. but ZERO on fixing their teeth!?!
Exactly
Yep...
I was so thinking the same thing .
That's the UK way!
Debbie has a lovely eye color. Such a pretty inside that radiates on the outside as well. A truly beautiful woman.
Debbie has a beautiful smile, that counts for a lot.
"People who are obsessed with how they look are the real beasts." So very true. Can't argue with that.
There’s way worse people in the world than the vain they mostly hurt themselves
I disagree, they are not beasts, they are women who have had the stuffing knocked out of them one way or another. The May appear confident but inside they are jellies, worrying about being left alone in this world, some with the added ‘burden’ of children I don’t think they are vain, they’re just sick of never feeling ‘normal’, never having a loving partner, always feeling second best. Looking at their friends and wanting what they’ve got - not in a jealous way, just pure longing to have that little happy package that they perceive everyone but they have. They are depressed and crying inside - my heart hurts for them …
It's no better to pass judgement on them than it is passing judgement on someone else for their appearance.. Two wrongs don't make a right.
@@junebarber8459 it’s not only women
This poor woman looks like someone addicted to getting silly work done on their face. She may think it’s making her age slower, but she looks like she can’t have a natural reaction. She could be beautiful if she looked natural. She won’t find true love until she loves herself. Ever. She’ll never have a forever man until she knows how amazing she is inside. Men certainly see that. Her daughter is correct. She’s giving off the wrong impression.
Skin deep. How any adult cannot know this truth.
BEAUTY HAS NO FACE. It has a heart.
I hope Amanda follows the new road. It will make her happier
Debbie is extraordinary in the best way.
Debbie has a lot more self esteem than Amanda
It’s sad that Amanda still is sad and lacking confidence. She’d have done better to have therapy.
Amanda needs someone to hug her and tell her that she’s beautiful as she is. Wonder where her mother is
Wow, what a beautiful documentary 😢❤
Both women are very nice people. There is absolutely nothing wrong with enhancing your physical looks. It does not necessarily mean that one does not also have self-worth and depth. Don't throw everyone into the same barrel. Many people are well aware that our outer body is just the costume we where, while living as spiritual beings on the planet. At least, that is how I see things. Neither woman should base their sense of worth on a man's opinion.
Best outcome on one of these programmes that I have seen
We love you, Amanda! Just as you are.
She may have facial disfigurement, but she’s still so beautiful
Debbie: "Butterfly" 🦋 Amanda: "ButterFace!" 😂
I feel sorry for amanda she doesn’t look happy.. it’s sad
Debbie has shiny thick hair. Her happiness shines thru.
Debbie has a heart of gold and really beautiful hair!
She just needs someone to love her like Debbie has.
brilliant doco, thanks.
Nothing wrong with either of these mindsets, as long as you're happy inside.
Shut up
I woke up with Ramsay Hunt syndrome which left me with facial disfigurement and paralysis. I have trouble speaking and eating. My romantic partner took one look at me and hit the road. I am gutted, but lucky I discovered how shallow he is.
Lucky for you he left, now that you’re alone someone worth of you will come
I've always wondered what makes women go to such extremes to make themselves so desirable to the world.
Man, I can't believe that she's putting her insecurities on her kids. That sucks.
I don't understand Amanda. All that surgery and she still looks 40 something... More like 47 than her real age... What was it for then?
self obsessed - look at me - so insecure - How Sad . Beautiful smile Debbie..
Anyone know what year this is from? Im curious 😂... some of these ladies hair and makeup is... 😬😬. Sometimes less is more. Im not against enhancing beauty or getting a procedure or two, but some people completely overdo it and change their face for the worst. Its sad.
I checked online its from 2012
@@cocodrilo4878 thank u 😂
Just lovely!!
I think the name of the show is awful.. like neither are a beast..
Shallow people miss out on the best experiences. They turn away if the experience isn't "pretty" enough for them. They certainly are not learning the life's lessons their souls need to learn.
how do you know they aren't experiencing what their soul needs to learn? she could have 80 years on this earth whereas some only have few so how do you know what she will learn in her lifetime
these women are both lovely, But i agree that true buety comes from within and exudes outwardly. Life is so short.
We all spend money on something, so it's perfectly fine for her to spend it on her looks if she wants to. She's not bothering anyone.
You would think Amanda would fix her teeth before she did anything else.
