In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil narrates the story of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose resignation from Congress President post. Netaji Bose was elected president of Congress in 1938. In 1939 he stood for election again and defeated Pattabhi Sitaramayya, who was Mahatma Gandhi’s Choice. Later Shubhash had to resign from the President post due to resistance from Working Committee members and stalwarts like Vallabhbhai Patel and Nehru. It's clear that Gandhiji didn't want Netaji to lead the congress in the presence of Nehru Ji. Gandhiji was biased toward Nehru Ji which result in Netaji resignation from Congress.
We see this biasness again when Nehru was elected as PM despite most of the Congress committee want Patelji to become PM
All those leaders which resign from the Congress working Committee are clearly under Gandhiji Influence (and may be under Gandhiji guidance)

Gandhi Ji or for that matter Nehru was not responsible for the resignation of Subhas Chandra Bose. In fact, the right-wingers in the congress of the pre-independence era were solely responsible for his resignation. This paved the way for divisive politics leading to the partition of India on religious grounds & acceptance of Dominion Status instead of Purna Swaraj or Complete Independence!
Both anti-national Gandhi and Nehru, agents of Britain, could have never tolerated a true leader and son of soil Netaji. That is the reason Netaji was forced to part his ways.
