In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about PV Narasimha Rao, who was the Prime Minister of India from 1991 to 1996, and during his tenure he made significant decisions regarding the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In 1990 Pakistan declared 4 february as kashmir solidarity day and Benajir bhutto raised demands of Kashmir independence during a speech in Muzaffarabad. Pakistan later went to the UN regarding the Kashmir issue.

PV Narsimha Rao was possibly the most intellectually rich PM we ever had, he was the founder of today's economic progress and given full support to then Finance Minister Manmohan Singh. Congress tried its best to belittle him but his contribution was immense.

We were fortunate to have Narsimha Rao as our PM during those tough times.
All times were tough, luckily most of the times we had good leaders ( exception being Morarji bhai, Gujral etc.).

No man it wasn't completely perfect, there were flaws in it. This Guy was scared to even utter the Word नरसंहार (Massacre) of Kashmiri Pandits. Instead he says "कश्मीरी पंडितों को तर-बदर किया गया था"। Whom is Nikhil scared off, Journalist are supposed to talk the truth but looks like he is taking the Orders from the Bosses sitting at India Today.
