Saitama's strength is not 'growing', he is already limitlessly strong but even he himself doesnt know to what extent since he doesnt have any opponents to test it out on.

Rimuru grew strong too but Saitama is much different from Rimuru. Like at the start Saitama is Moon level vs Boro then Saitama would grow to Planet level. Saitama vs Garou to Star Level. After that, Saitama vs Goku then Saitama scale Low Multiverse. That is how Saitama was able to grow stronger quickly than Rimuru. But Rimuru was almost killed by a stronger woman (I forget her name). Saitama never almost killed or lost to everyone when he fought the stronger like Garou.
