Thought it was really sweet how the border collies parents showed such empathy to their mirror-gazing pup. Mum and dad were so worked up they thought he was depressed. Indeed, the whole show is about people that really care about their dogs, even if they are going astray in one area or another.

If your small dog growls, don’t pick it up and cuddle it. It would be better to have it on a lead so when it growls you can remove it to isolate it in another room for a few minutes and when it’s quiet and calm, praise and pet your dog and allow it to come back to the room where it misbehaved. Repeat as necessary. It will soon learn the consequence for growling and the reward for good behavior.
@@themermaidstale5008 but we need to be warned by a dogs growl. Better to growl a warning than the dog suddenly attacking with no warning. It should warn the person or animal it's growling at to back off and leave it in peace. Dogs do growl also when playing or excited. Please don't punish a dog for growling, it can't say go away, leave me in peace.
Check out raspberry ridge sheep farm if you are in the states and want to see if your dog has sheep herding instincts. Doesn't necessarily have to be a herding breed either. Hope that helps.
Bad behavior aside (and good that Graeme helped with it), Norman is one beautiful hairless Chinese Crested (as someone who was not too fond of the breed because of first-time looks).😍🥰
Oh dachshounds😂😂😂😂 and Thor is the example that it is almost always a mistake to give a dog "company" by adding a second dog: they are freaked out, jealous, feel abandoned etc. They are in most cases very satisfied to be with their humans
Thor's just like the jealous toddler when the new baby comes along. Reverting to weird behaviour to be the centre of attention. Eventually they get over it
bit unfair to say "Tilly starts it"... when she went missing while the Grandma was walking her with Bella.. Maybe Grandma hasn't told the full story but Tilly's trauma is definitely showing something happened.. And so poor Tilly is getting triggered every time she sees and smells the ones who were involved in her disappearance.. I think its unfair to say she starts it.. The trauma started it and yes healing it is a must but its not her fault...
Yeah, see stuff like that, the three schnauzers come to mind, there the one who is doing ABSOLUTELY nothing, being a very good boy, even when the other two are going apeshit, , and somehow gets lumped in. He doesn’t get a treat for being a good boy. Same with the two newfies, the little girl didn’t get any treats for being good. That sucked.
Yup, there's a saying I grew up with as my family spent their lives with collies; "If ye cannat get em ta work, they'll find a way ta work ye instead". Impenetrable accent at times but they knew their tykes.🥰
This isn't to do with him working or not working. This is him being like a toddler who regresses or adopts weird behaviour to get attention after the parents bring a new baby home from the hospital, which totally rocks their world. They just teach the dog that to get attention he has to be his normal self.
I think jackets are probably needed for a hairless dog in the UK, which is not known for it's warm weather. But it does need grooming and the matching outfits are silly

That collie is proving the genius of the breed.🤣🤣
yes but this is a form of canine OCD and mental condition where dogs get obsessed over light

The solution to the collie's mirror gazing was wonderful. Well-done all of you. I love dogs and especially this programme with the lateral thinking 😊.

Norman is not a man-hater, he hates everyone that takes her attention away from his owner. The border collie is so smart!
Ah I’ve had two Chinese Crests and they’re the most beautiful dogs 😍

I thought exactly the same😂 Ive fallen inlove with norman❤ Thor though is an absoloute genius
Only a mother can love a looker like that! Best of luck w those fugly doggos!
i think they are as ugly as hairless cats ewwwww

I love Norman he's gorgeous
Border collies see people as just weird sheep....

I guess Norman was born to prevent men from getting trapped... 😮😅🤭

Border Collie is adoring himself at the mirror, such beauty
lmao it’s actually a form of canine OCD
That woman didnt even research the dog breed
People literally just buy a random dog without thinking about it for more than 2 seconds
The family has been hating eachother forever and thr dogs can feel it
That why they war
Norman must be freezing cold! Why has she removed all Normans fur /hair
. Left only a tiny bit on his head! It's driving him mad !
She didn't remove it, that's the way hair grows on this breed. It's known to be a hairless breed.
LOL AT THOR
Norman seems to be more of a fashion accessory than a dog , quite sad
I think Norman might also be pissed off about his name. He is definitely brighter than his owner.
❤❤❤

Why would you let a pair of spoilt dogs destroy a family relationship!
I think neither side is willing to budge. They both think the other dog should have to go
LOL if i would see my date would own such a dog....i would be away anyways lol No bad behaviour necessary lol
Stay strong it’s probably not your fault
It's always the owners fault and its always super obvious
You don’t need a man…you have a dog.

They only live ten years
