It looks like it will be a while until Dragon Ball Super comes back to the small screen or the big screen. While the manga has been going strong, the anime seems to be on hold indefinitely. While this is a sad fact of life for Dragon Ball fans, we know that one day it will continue to adapt manga arcs like the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga and the new one that has just started, Granola the Survivor Saga. While we wait, now is the PERFECT time to go back over some of the best days in the franchise’s history, the days of Dragon Ball Z. We’ll cover the entire epic series as we cover the Saiyan saga to the final showdown with Majin Buu.
Be reminded of some of the greatest battles between Goku and Raditz, Goku and Vegeta, Goku and Frieza and of course, Goku and Majin Buu. We’ll also point out some of the greatest scene stealing moments like Future Trunks’ big intro and Gohan’s world-saving blast. We’ll also cover some of the dark times of the series. Moments where it looked like the Androids might actually do a Terminator and destroy the world. That or when Frieza had all of our heroes on the ropes until Goku decided to make his big entrance. He does like to make a dramatic entrance.
So let’s jump right into Dragon Ball Z as we recount the best days from the second series.

The trailers showed almost nothing of the show. Everything in the trailers is from the first episode, except Madripoor and Zemo's shot with his mask in his hand from the last trailer (which is ironically from the last episode). The therapy sessions are an essential part of the series, each episode starts/is interspersed with them. Ross is watching. Flagsmasher is not a main character, just a secondary character used by Zemo as a distraction. The series generally follows the format of the villain of the week, except for Zemo who is built throughout the 6 episodes. Steve Rogers doesn't die (at least not in this series). There is a funeral, but it's for General Ross (he's not really dead, but he goes into hiding) John Walker is called Captain America throughout his race with the shield. At one point he is called in the dialogue "an American agent", but that's it. He's not a bad guy, he really wants what's best for the country, but he follows orders to the letter and suffers from crippling post-traumatic stress. Race is an important theme of the show. Sam is not entitled to the shield because of Sokovia's chords, but the real reason is that he is black. When Walker goes off the reservation and beats Eli Bradley in front of the cameras, the government tries to give Sam the shield for good public relations. This almost leads Sam to abandon the government completely, but Rhodey brings him back. The show does not at all prepare Rhodey for the tank war. Bucky's bow is atonement and becoming human again by the small means he can. Sharon helps him enormously in this sense. The 5 years following the coup de grâce are explored in depth, as is the impact of returning to a changed world. Omega Red and Batroc the Leaper are indeed in the show. They are the villains of episode 3, which is the Madripoor episode. Omega Red is pretty nerd for the MCU but there is a canonical reason. The word "mutant" is never said. Songbird does NOT appear. Neither do the Inhumans, for whatever reason. Nor is there any connection to Black Widow, at least not one I've noticed." Edit: OP continues in comments "Zemo's plan is to rid the world of superheroes. He escaped and inspired people like Flagsmasher during the snap. He is using the events of WandaVision, the fall of John Walker, and the public's uncertainty about the snap to radicalize an army. Sam reluctantly ends up accepting the role of Captain America, but that's because he does it for himself. Bucky and Sharon end up together. It works better than you think I promise. Sharon is one of the strengths of the series and one of the most capable characters. Ross tries to recreate the super strong serum, which leads to Red Hulk. The last scene (not in the credits, I didn't see that) is a clever Red Hulk who approaches Zemo after Zemo is given a microchip with a bomb in his neck to recruit him for Thunderbolts. Bucky joins the new Shield with Sharon at the end. Sam seeks to reform the Avengers". " Episode 1: details Following Endgame, Sam hands over the Shield to the government and John Walker, Flagsmashers tries to steal biological weapons. With Sharon's help, they stop them. Zemo turns out to be the bad guy Episode 2: John Walker is sent in pursuit of Zemo. Sam and Bucky continue to fight. The three of them fight and Zemo escapes. They come back together and catch Zemo. Episode 3: Zemo captured leads them to Madripoor, they shake Walker in the streets. Batroc and Omega Red attack them in a bar. Zemo escapes on a speedboat, makes a public broadcast Episode 4: Zemo's followers get up in the streets, which leads to vigilantism. The patriot is the main focus. He and Walker attack a gang together, but he intervenes to prevent Walker from killing them and Walker brutalizes him. This was Zemo's plan. Sam meets with Rhodey to discuss being a black superhero Episode 5. Sam still refuses to accept the shield. Everyone has their turn with him, including Sharon who ends the Flashsmasher gang. Walker tries to redeem himself Episode 6 Sam accepts the role of Captain America. He, Bucky, Sharon, Walker and Patriot get dressed together and confront Zemo at his Alaskan naval base where he plans to launch his biological weapon."

Thank you for making this video! I’m 33 and was trying to remember the series from my childhood. When I started rewatching it all, I realized how slow paced it was and why I was always so eager to find out next week. This was a great summary and I felt all of my former knowledge of DBZ flow back into my head after watching. Very nostalgic experience. Thank you for you hard work!

I'm going to offer a bronze medal on this attempt. You skipped over a few noteworthy tidbits throughout, mispronounced some names, but the biggest kicker for me was how you worded the Vegeta confrontation: you stated Goku's Spirit Bomb was used and then Yajirobe cut off Vegeta's tail when you should've articulated the script where the tail was cut off and then the SB was used.
You did alright, CBR; but as the gold medal holder I cannot hand it over. Also, I always critique your DB(+) from a place of tough love, not spite.
This video makes me want to re-watch the series again.

When a guy who has never seen DBZ is tasked to narrate a video explaining DBZ in it entirety
1. Saiyans are a dreaded alien warriors.
2. Frieza is a ruthless alien tyrant.
3. Androids are a evil Red Ribbon robots.
4. Cell is a monstrous green bio-android.
5. Majin Buu is a pinkish bubblegum creature.
Vegetta is a better father than Goku ever be. 😂
The only thing he missed out is after the explosion of Namek during Goku & Frieza last battle, the return of Garlic Junior and his spice boys took place next before Future Trunk came next to intercept the arrival of Frieza and his father King Cold. I didn't like that Garlic Junior in the series. They could have make another DBZ movie for his return. Rather have Cooler and/or Broly add on to the series instead. Lord Beerus & Whis were not apart of DBZ, but they came up with the last two movies for their major participation in DB Super Series.

Episode starts off with another Dr. Agatha PHD scene. She whammies Wanda into breaking into SWORD to steal Vision's body. It's in horrible shape however, and she relents. That's when Agatha convinces her create the Hex, along with another Vision, confirming he's not from another universe.
Agatha makes the Hex disappear entirely, which weakens Vision and causes him to start disintegrating. Wanda goes all out against her and a huge battle ensues.
Strange and Wong arrive. Strange and Peter give each other knowing glances, like they were expecting to see the other. Peter speeds Monica and Jimmy to the rescue encampment.
Wanda defeats Agatha Phoenix-style, but starts losing control. Strange shows up inside her mind and gives a mind-trip "You are better than this!"-style speech.
After Wanda powers down, she kneels next to a dying Vision and they share a final goodbye while Strange and Wong look on.
On the outskirts of town, Agatha is still alive and limping when Karl Mordo appears (the other big appearance!). She doesn't recognize him. Just as she's about to ask him to help her, he strangles her with his staff-whip thingy and extracts all the energy she siphoned from Wanda. As Agatha ages into an old woman, a dark cloud/smoke with purple energy shoots out of her and she dies. He looks on into the red energy in his hands while two teens - an aged Billy and Tommy - appear behind him.
Epilogue has Wanda going with the Masters to Kamar Taj to heal and hone her powers. Peter asks her about her sons, but no one but him has any memories of them. Hayward apologies to Monica, Jimmy and Darcy and gives the atoner routine. Jimmy and Peter both join SWORD.
Mid-credits scene features Wong doing his infinity stone hologram show by himself in the library, looking super concerned. He singles out the blue space stone, surrounded by black swirls (Loki's altered timeline), while a seventh, white stone appears in the center.
End-credits scene has the black cloud quickly wash over New York, lightning speed. No one notices it however. Suddenly hex-shaped portals begin opening in the sky one by one and series ends with "Wanda Maximoff Will Return." Doesn't say where.

amazing work but vegeta didnt become a ssj2 he became an ascended saiyan also gohan didnt "master" ssj2 but he was the first person to ever unlock it during his fight with cell
He said ssj second grade not to be confused with ssj2 which Vegeta didn’t achieve until the 7 years pre Buu…but he still made plenty of errors

Hands down best saga is the freeza saga, my personal favorite moment, Japanese version, spirit bomb is crushing freeza into namek, he is pushing back against it and failing "I'll just take this and....... I'll just take this and....."

Maybe it’s just me but regarding the zenkai boost you kinda made it seem like every time a member of their clan dies the rest gets stronger which is not how it works at all and might misinform some people.

As many video as CBR makes on DBZ you would think they would have someone that actually knows something about it to proofread the script before handing off to some random they hired JUST to read a script
