Hiya Dave .Interesting placement of the Tilt Plate before the Filter Drawer and Camera . Makes sense . I see most others putting it directly on the camera *after* the Filter Drawer. Very nice setup . Sounds like you'll be doing some flokking to try and remove the "ring" . Everybody seems to be doing that right now .Thanks for the video ./SRK

Hi Scott, yeh, want to keep the filter as close to the camera sensor as possible, I don't think it is possible to mount it the other way on the UFC system for this reason. As for flocking, yeh, I'm waying up options at the moment.

Nicely Done! I am currently trying to eliminate tilt from my new QHY600M short BFL on my RASA 8 (yep you heard correct 🙂) using the Baader FCCT II. Amazing it works with manageable vignetting! I just discovered the triangle setting in ASTAP and want to use that to see if it works better than the square since the FCCT basically uses the same tilter you are using but built into the filter drawer. Funny thing is we are doing the same things so now I feel like I am on track, just have to wait for the rain clouds and forest fire smoke to clear from Canada (I'm near Chicago). Thanks for the video and Clear Skies!

Cheers Dave, It will be interesting to see how much adjustment throws things out, that's why I was reluctant to make any changes as this stage, considering the lucky improvements I got just from fitting. Will see how it goes after the next changes.... Keep me posted on how you get on, good luck!
