Hi Bob, that's exciting! Just don't cost yourself money down the road by trying to save money on the initial purchase. Buy as solid of a car as you can afford. Rust repair is by far the most expensive thing to fix correctly on these cars. Good luck with your project!
Where did you purchase the trunk pan? I bought one from Golden Star and just mocking it up it looks like I have my work cut out for me. Lines up front and rear but the in between going to need some work. BTW great job on your project.

Is that trunk pan and wheel wells a kit that you can but together?
What kind of body filler do you use
IDK about this shop but the best I have found is 3M platinum plus body filler.
What did you do to get that body stripped to that point?
Looks like he glass (not as toxic as sand) blasted the body.
