Ubuntu DDE is very laggy that's why i don't use it, but it's a very beautiful distro......

Got that core i7 4770 1TB ssd 32GB of ram on a system i try all my linux distros on and I've been using Linux for years so honestly I don't know why it does that 😁🤷♀
@@KidKomic-oq6mx That is not how intel CPUs work... generation plays a huge part... For example, i'd take an 11th gen i5 over an 8th gen i7 any day of the week.

This Deepin 23 is the worst they have done. It's full of bugs. Installing some apps, they don't appear on menu. Others do not launch via desktop (Google Earth, for example). Impossible to edit a .desktop file, because they become read only. I've never seen this on linux world, and, especially on Deepin. I am very disapointed.
This is not a review, but nonsense. Install wine, portproton, drivers, show how the keyboard layout is switched. Then this will be a good review.

it's using deepin desktop enviroment, some people say that looks like MacOS, some say that looks like windows, in my opinion it is just gorgeous

Yes it receives updates. This is based on Ubuntu 22.04, and the ISO build date is August 13, 2023.

Yes, but if you are new I would recommend you to go with Ubuntu
The GUI is obviously different, however on the command line it's compatible with stock Ubuntu. Have you tried KDE? KDE Neon is worth a look, with a Ubuntu base.
