For many years Papo was my favorite. They've been dethroned. Rebor was always their closest competitor but with the figures they released this year, Rebor is now my favorite. I have the V-Rex (Vanilla Ice) figure and absolutely loved it. Will be getting the male Jungle T-Rex for sure. I heard they are coming out with a JP styled spinosaurus and can't wait for that.
I have been dripping with anticipation for you to review either of these, both at once is the best for me as I am undecided which one to get, I might wait until the other T rex they are bringing out comes out first to make my mind up.
I received both of mine within 24 hours from everythingdinosaur! Mine were painted fantastically and I just can’t stop saying enough nice things about them. I think considering how cheap they are, it’s pretty incredible. The mouth and teeth look super realistic, and they photograph very nicely. They both appear to be natural versions of the thrasher & Bull Rex from Kenner. But obviously they are based on the Buck & doe from the Lost World. I really wish there were some raptors & Human figures that scaled nicely with them.
Just ordered the Rebor Vanilla Ice: Mountain Tyrannosaurus Rex from everythingdinosaur.com per your channels recommendation, and I CANNOT WAIT to get the Killer Queen (plain) next!
Andy fantastic review of Rexes 😎.And have you noticed the Jungle/Buck as little horn just jutting out of the corners of the upper jaw 😉May be if we are good Rebor may give a Rexling too 😀
Man, I noticed that eye before you even said anything. Time to bring out the acrylics for a touch up, haha. The arms seem a little big for a T.rex to me as well but they look pretty great otherwise. I don't think there is any definitive evidence of sexual dimorphism in T.rex in real life and really I only remember the toys for The Lost World demonstrating any difference between the sexes, definitely hard to tell in the movie to me. I even think in the 2nd Crichton novel he even specifically writes his female T.rex is bigger than the male so who really knows in fact OR fiction. Thanks for another great review, I may look into picking one of these two up sometime.
@@Goong1.618 Yeah, sorry to disappoint. I have a ton of JP bucks already though so it's not too much of a loss. Unless I can guarantee that my figure won't have a miss-painted eye, I won't get it. PNSO is releasing a ton of gold this year and I'd rather focus on putting my efforts towards those.
@Kenan Hamasha Thanks Kenan. It may be an unpopular opinion, but if Rebor doesn't have the QC that it should have when releasing figures of this calibre, then I can't honestly buy from them.
I love them but my two have standing issues :( kinda makes me wish I knew Nanmu's rex was gonna be released this year. I would've just waited for those 2 lol
@@jevil6985 Oh I'm not talking about these rexes, these aren't accurate lol but rebor has made a new line with "scientific accurate" dinosaurs (which will be way cheaper) called grab n go for 2019, and they are making a pretty acurate rex as well there.
I think they’ve suffered financially recently because of bootlegs. Rebor work super hard to sell products at an affordable level. The paint on mine was really good. The best we can do is continue to support there work and stay away from bootlegs.
As much as I'm fine with Rebor, I honestly do not understand why do they ALWAYS tend to make Jurassic Park styled figures in 2019. IDK, it just annoys me alot....
I think it's safe to say either they're big Jurassic park fanboys, or their Jurassic park inspired models sell better than their non Jurassic models. I'm excited the most for their non Jurassic stuff this year, namely the Stegosaurus, and Grab n go rex and spino.
@@andysdinosaurreviews I guess you do have a point, but I don't know whether or not they got a new manager or something because ever since their very first model, (a.k.a., that weird-looking Yutyrannus) they PROMISED to make accurate and up-to-date dinosaur models, but then a few years later.. I would definitely like a JP version of T-rex. I have no problem with that. I think JP version of rex is a the first thing that comes up into my mind when they talk about T-rex. Just my personal preference
Oh yeah, I believe you. Jurassic park really screwed up everyone's views as far as what dinosaurs looked like. Even though at the time, they may have been fairly realistic, as far as accuracy goes those dinosaurs had to stay the same but paleontology continues to evolve so unfortunately most people that aren't heavily into dinosaurs like us are going to have no idea what those dinosaurs actually look like in real life. I will say I am absolutely ecstatic about them releasing other dinosaurs that aren't Jurassic Park inspired at some point, but I do enjoy a good Jurassic Park Style dinosaur again for nostalgic purposes.
Andy's Dinosaur Reviews I feel like what paleontologists are trying to tell us now about dinosaurs is that they look like bird. I personally am reserved on that. Y'all gotta stop comparing every dinosaur model that comes out to Jurassic Park and rating it based on its screen accuracy. Regardless if this was a selling point by Rebor, This is Killer Queen. Not Rexy, not the bull, KQ is its own character.
It's just very heavily influenced by Jurassic park and The Lost World. I do see what you're saying though. However the similarities and obvious attempt to benefit from the Jurassic films with these figures is impossible to deny.
There are an awful lot of them lately, but I'm a huge jurassic park fan so I personally don't mind at all. I do however love rex figures that aren't jp inspired.
1 pin?
I love this figure and the video!
Great work!😀
Thank you!!
😇
@@andysdinosaurreviews I wasn't expecting a rebor new t rex I was hoping for Rebor to make a male triceratops
I can't wait until they do!! It's long overdue!
You're welcome
I really liked the Plain version because She resembled Rexy from the Jurassic movies.
You do Know that the green one resembles one of the rexes from Lost world...
Hence the name. Killer queen. It is Rexy!
No green looks great

Good review of the Rex models.
I could really get one of those some day.

That would be AWESOME! If you get the Nanmu figures, the humans from those might be to scale. Raptors however is another story.
You might have covered this already Andy, but W. Dragon's JP3 Spino is up for sale on eBay now.
I actually haven't put it in a news video yet, but I have seen that. It's only a preorder as of now though. Thank you either way for the tip!
Wait ???? killer queen?? killer queen bites the dust
DAISAN NO BAKUDAN
BITES ZA DUSTO
Getting the jungle version as soon as they are available on BBTS.

I will buy it next month.
Both look good by I prefer the jungle.

You know it. Should be pretty easy to touch that up.
The plain one just looks like it came with the berserker Rex
Loving these bud! Great review. Same here, must get both of these beauties.
I'm a rex collector, but the sloppily painted eye is enough to make me not want to buy this figure. Thanks for the review!

Still waiting on mine, i even got the parcelforce shipping and still no update.
I would’ve loved to see a King/Queen T-Rex 🦖 size comparison 😊
Is it durabke enough for play?
Like lets say a 12 year old boy buys this and uses it in play
Will i survive the play?
Killer Queen has already touched it
Damn these figures are bad ass I want the green T. rex cause I already have the brown papo T. rex and now I need a green one for my collection
She falls over for me all the time. Can I bend the leg a little without risking breaking?
Another great review.
Is this a lot chunkier than the Papo Running T-rex?
Pin? I just got my pair from everything dinosaur. They are the definite version of JP T-rex figure for me. A masterpiece of Stan Winston T-rex.
I just got my Nanmu Indy, I'm absolutely charmed, but now I wonder how does Killer Queen scale to her? I guess she's too big of a rex for Indy?
Yeah, a little bit too large to be to scale, but they probably look really cool together!
I like the jungle one !!!
AHHHHHHH ITS HERE
And the male is called T-Rex Buck and the female is called T-Rex Doe
W-dragon buck t rex or rebor killer queen jungle variant? What do you prefer?
W dragon, but it's very close!
@@andysdinosaurreviews thank you man, I think I'm going for Rebor... If you say is very close, but way more cheaper!!

What do you think i-toy or rebor
Which one should I get the plain version or the jungle version
I prefer the plain, but it's up to you!
I really want a sciencifictly accurate tyrannosaurus from rebor.

Plain. Not sure why. It's just beautiful!

Beautiful 😍
The male should be called killer king
Fred BOI why not ‘Good old fashioned lover boy’?
Or just ‘Liar’.
Everyone is making a T. rex. Soooo many models out there. I’m passing on commenting on these pieces but will say Andyland has killer reviews.
Thank you so much for the kind words!!!
It's a shame they don't squeek when you squeeze them.
Maybe then some of these children will be satisfied 😂
Sadly, looks like rebor has lowered their quality significantly in terms of their paint jobs :-\
I definitely don't think the paint is as good as their first few releases but I feel like these are better than the last few.

What the fuck!!?
Definitely decent figures, but still not as good as the w-dragon rex
Wouldn't disagree with that.
Agreed 100% w dragon is out of this world!!!
Jesus Gomez basically a sideshow model that scales up nicely with the more typical (and affordable) 1:40 scale models
All the rexes in all the reviews I have seen have sloppy eyes. The lickeness of the standing T.Rexes from Papo is better.
The head looks off when the mouth is closed and almost closed. When the mouth is fully open it looks very nice.
Also one of the overlapping teeth is damaged, on the green rex. I would demand a return on the this one.
