The plain version resembles the Doe Rex from The Lost World aswell as Rexy. If you look closely both of the Lost World Rexes have different color schemes. So you can portray the plain version however you want.

I think these are superb, but I am going to wait for the other Rebor T rex they are bringing out first which is supposed to be more historically accurate before I make my decision on which to get, I think the plain looks best of these two, the jungle is nice but I dont like the pale patches at the sides of the mouth, either side, it looks from a distance like paint is missing, I know it isnt as its the same on all the jungle ones.
I’m very interested to see what that grab and go rex looks like closer to production. Those scales on the jungle version were distracting when I first saw them. But it is screen accurate. Just not noticeable in the movie just in pics of the animatronic. But I’m sure if they didn’t paint them some super fanboy would point that out lol

Me too. I’m using the dilo base for them but these two definitely needed their own base.

I actually did say which one I would pick towards the end of the video. Plains version is my pick if I could only have one. I have a soft spot for the original JP Rex
I feel like such a heretic for liking the jungle one more. As iconic as Rexy is, I generally prefer the look of the Lost World animals the most. The green just really pops. Rex isn't even really my favourite dinosaur either, but hell yes I'll be getting this jungle one.
It’s great we have options lol. The green definitely looks really good on this mold. You won’t be disappointed.

I got a Jungle one recently. I noticed there's something on the head that made it seem different from the movie design. I couldn't put my finger on it until recently: the Rebor design has too many teeth on the sides, and they're shorter and placed closer together. Also, the front part of the mouth is flat, whereas it should be curved and the teeth should be longer.
None of this is a deal breaker because this model still looks amazingly good, but I recently saw a model by Nanmu studios which seems to get the teeth details correct. Might look into getting one of those as well.

Oh man I hate rebor for how they have treated their fans in the past, like I really hate them. But damn that green rex looks good, wish I could get it, but I swore that I would not buy from rebor until I saw them publicly acknowledge and apologize for their childish behavior on social media 🙄. Ugh i want that rex so bad doe.
They did a few months ago the toy blog. Said they where sorry with past actions and want to be apart of the community. It was somewhere on the main Rebor post.

Jungle in my opinion is better.. don’t be offended, it’s just my opinion.

Jp rex is overated and freaky,arms are to big and pronated, feet are oversized, as is the legs, tail is to flexible, no feathers, body is shrinkwrapped and the face with its angry eyebrows, shorter snowt and tiny teeth.Its like a cartoon chareter. Not to mention it behaves like a mindless monster and the whole it cant see you if you dont move thing. Stan winston basicaly made a cartoon chareter instead of a real animal. Other t rexes like saurians two versions, the one in dinosaur island and collectas and safaris far surpass it
I agree the JP dinosaurs are movie monsters and nothing more. I am a sucker for good JP Dino collectibles. The safari Ltd feathered Rex is one of my favorite Rex figures.

@@tmanbloke6535 jp is not an interpration of the fossils of dinosaurs, but instead jp is intionly inaccurate with thier dinosaurs as outdated as any tail dragger from a hundred years ago
We can never truly know what these animals of the past looked
like. Anatomy, muscle tissue, fat
and skin coloration overlaid on to
skeletal frame with a spash of
imagination. Feathers....maybe.
The feathers T-Rex from safari
is one of my favorites.
