That "G sus" joke was the funniest thing I heard all week. Damn you JHS lol
first time I heard it I went, oh it's an agnostic joke. suspicious of God. but no haha
I think God was speaking through Josh cause that joke was perfection
Yeah i added that to the old repertoire of blasphemous humour.
17:19 "Let's do the same thing, but do it better. With higher gain."
That's a statement I can get behind. My life's motto.
They happened to be saying that as i read your comment and it was a weird overlap... ive had a lot of that happening lately. Get out of my head.
Zach/Mythos oughta put that Treble Booster from the Susmaryosep in its own enclosure. That shit rips!
🤫
So good that I often forget it's about pedals. Even my wife (who's not into guitars) enjoys the channel. Love it, keep it coming!
Jeff is an American Treasure! Great Show! Zach and Mythos rock... Almost as hard as Jeff's mullet/shirt combo.
One thing I love is that it's just one pedal maker talking to another just telling you straight up what's up
If the Gsus line was adlibbed and not prewritten, it might be one of the best lines in the history of humanity.
This was absolutely perfect, your best live yet. Great jams, as well!
One day I will actually watch one of these live, but I love watching them anyway, live or not. Interesting, informative, fun and AUTHENTIC. really appreciate the effort that goes into producing these. Thanks all. 👏🏼
One of the best lives ever, thanks guys!
This was the first time I've seen Zach play guitar after like a year and a half of watching him low key putting down his own guitar playing. He's way better than he claims.
when he was on that pedal show (or maybe it was Andertons? both?) they kept trying to tell him he was a good player and he was having none of it lol
Yeah, he was super great!
Thank you so much
@@MythosPedals my daughter and I watched Dipped In Tone the other day; I’m surprised that you didn’t wear all denim! But I have to say, your dedication to making pedals and expanding your business is remarkable!
@@MythosPedals brother got the feel 💯⚡🤙
Man you guys were on a roll this ep. Very fun and Zach seems like a cool dude
I hit the thumbs up at the “both soloing obnoxiously for a whole measure” part!
Just JHS continuing to be the best content on youtube television. Also shoutout to Mythos; you guys rock!!
I love the live streams more than the 20 minute videos personally. I love the 20 minute videos but the live streams are so much more chill and "hang out" feeling
I loved that "Steven Seagal Style" Blues Jam at 33:30
I didn't see this live, I was on a plane (catching COVID, but I digress) but I have to add in... I really enjoy the Friday shows. But I LOVE - LOVE - the Wednesday lives. They're a little chaotic, but it's like hanging with a group of similarly weird friends.
A suggestion: Zach Broyles needs to be on more. Not for Mythos necessarily, but just because he adds a nice spice to an already great dish. He's funny, self-effacing, and fits in so well with the group. I would be SO excited if he was part of the regular rotation, like Daniel is.
I really do love the Wednesdays and I'll admit to being kind of bummed when there isn't one. You don't owe us one, but please know that a few thousand of us die on Wednesdays when there isn't one.
Thank you!
I like to think I am in the band and politely ripping on everyone too!
Let’s get a slide guitar 🎸 in the house
get yeah boootsa
No idea who gave you flak about the lives, they're my highlight of the week :)
Jamming along with you guys is just a great time.
By far my favorite JHS show recently. Loved all the side convos and the Weezer cover was the cherry on top. Highly recommend more covers with the pedal demos. You guys rock.
Having a Filipina mother-in-law who lives with us, can confirm the ‘susmaryjosep’ is very VERY real.
She denies (however futile it may be) that it means Jesus, Mary, Joseph because she’s doesn’t take the Lords name in vain 😅
that blues harmonica sounding fuzz at 34:45 is one of the best guitar sounds i heard in a long time... Damn, now I need that Argo.
All caught up! Music related RUclips got me through the shutdown. But I had to thin the herd. Jhs Show, dipped in tone, and any DIY vid from vertex are all that I make time for, so this was a treat! Thanks for being silly for a couple hours! Made my day!
Ditto but I haven’t thinned the herd enough. I’ve got to go on long trips to get caught up.
Thanks so much!
@@ScottMcdonaldMusic hahahaha it was really hard! I had to do a couple gigs with a couple bands to realize I was unprepared due to watching JHS, Rhett, TPS, Vertex, Wampler, etc... instead of you know... learning the music hahahahaha
My two favorite builders playing my favorite genre (blues). Best live yet!
Im so proud to be a Fil-am because of that pedal! It sounds pretty good actually!
I like that the jams have really gone full out with Joshua's beat poetry. What started as spoken word has evolved into full blown jam band with vocals. Digging it!
I see you back there, Wakko. :)
Great show and good vibes.
The boomer bends were indeed a breath of fresh air, while usually it’s the last thing one wants to hear on a pedal show.
I’ve heard good things about Mythos Pedals… This absolutely lives up to their excellent reputation. I look forward to picking one up soon and giving it a go in my rig. Also, I don’t remember having seen Josh’s Kauer guitar before. Love it. Sounds so good. Great episode!
The Oracle is my absolute favorite delay. It solved so many issues for me and sounds amazing.
LOVE your livestreams! Always watch to the end..
This was one of my favorite episodes. Zach is a great addition to the band, and his energy overall fits well with this show.
I felt strongly that I needed to watch this show to the end, despite not having a two-hour window to fit it into. So, I watched it 10-20 minutes at a time over 3 days. On day two, my browser crashed for some reason, and I had to reload my tabs so I could come back to keep watching this show.
It is my belief that this is totally normal behavior. 😎
I have to agree with Zach. The Kilt is JHS's masterpiece. Way underrated.
GREAT JAMS, BOYS!!! Great show JHS TEAM!!
PAVEMENT is my life. Have been since someone recommended Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain to me around 17 years ago. My GOAT.
Yes Klondike after fuzz!!! I found that sound a few weeks ago and fell in love with it! It works well on bass as well. I’m glad you mentioned that because it’s nice way to mellow out the extra fuzzy parts and the mids make it sound more like vocals in the more raspy singers who I love. You guys have some killer jams together on here. Thanks!
Great show! Lots of fun and I really need another job to fund more pedal purchases.
The Positron Collider is one of the best sounding fuzzes I've ever played. I was lucky enough to grab a slimed version last year on Halloween, too! Also, if you open up the case, not only is there is a nice little text Easter egg, but you can get a good look at the sheer, ridiculous size of that clipping LED. I've never seen that big of an LED in my life.
the footswichable tone-stack lift is a brilliant idea.. super useful as a solo boost.. Can't understand why more builders don't do something similar..
Zach is so much fun. I can’t listen to most guitar podcasts but Rhett and Zach together would be a great listen no matter what they talked about. Check out Dipped in Tone if you haven’t yet!
If Mythos ever do commercial spots Jeff needs to be the face of Mythos
sick band practice, now let's get you guys on tour!
Sparta born! Happy for Zach and all of his success! He’s a hell of a guitar player! Always loved his playing!
I had to smirk when Zach stated that Mythos is pronounced incorrectly. That’s so Tennessean (and I say that affectionately as an adopted Tennessean)! Zach knows what I’m talking about… Lebanon, Milan, Lafayette, Shelbyville… so Mythos, it works!
🤗
I’m a huge Doyle Bramhall II fan. The Argo absolutely does the COB sound and then some. Great pedal.
Nick’s snare tone today is pure fire!!!
Also, extremely jelly of Zac’s new FB!!! May favorite guitar shape/style of all time!!!
I really enjoy the morning zoo vibes of the livestreams
One of the best shows to date, good job fellers
Pleasantly unhinged is what I’m here for
Great Show!!
Nick slayed the drums on that first track. What a nice intro.
That Susmaryosep! Sounds great
Everyone loves the pedals and the playing and everything, but let's focus on what's important and look at the head of hair on that guy. Majestic.
loved the bullshit at the end. One of my fav youtube shows atm! check it every day
Show highlights: Rhett Shill getting burned again about his slide tone, and Jeff....you should do live crosses to Jeff at Mythos every live show form now on....
the Wilhelm Scream in _Zero To Hero_
This seems like the first time ive seen that black and white guitar... im in love with that thing.
I almost spit out my beer @12:53. I think that might have been your best one yet.
zack you killed it , rock on 🤟🏻
Thank you
Loved the extra content
Someone who uses low budget gear, Willie Nelson. His acoustic with a hole so big you can crawl inside, and his Baldwin C1 professional amp. Don’t know about pedals, but he’s been using that gear since day dot.
Several of those jams could drive me to drink. Thank you
Stay hydrated!
I literally do not own a physical guitar pedal and I've been watching your channel for over a year.
Thanks so much! 🖤🖤🖤
I have to know, do you want any? Or are you like a silent observer, because honestly I started with none like everyone else, but have now realized I can use them for everything, I have a baby pedal board for the vocal chain, I have some i use on the computer, drums? Pedal it up!, electric violin? Go for it, the sky is the limit. I thank you for being a part of this community, but as someone who struggles to not buy pedals, i guess I wanted to pick your brain? Have a great day brother
"Trav's Stuff" ad is hilarious.
I still need to try a mythos pedal….and a strymon.
17:30 those leads from Zach were absolutely wild! 🤯
Nice pedals, cool dude , good picker ( Nashville dialect ) , loved the jams as usual.
Yo that kick drum is thumpin, what's the mic/e.q. on it?
why am i not getting notifications, subbed and bell'd for forever, wanna catch these live shows I always miss
Oh no!
Zack. You know you’ve made it ,when you get roasted by Josh and the boy’s
Nice pedal. Like "Nashville inna box" kind of stuff. Cool!
Soooo… after Josh’s comment on fuzz to Klon, when do we get Golden Fleece/Mjolnir combo? And should it be just one knob? And should the name be “The Golden Hammer” or “Fix It Felix”?
So I was attempting to drink my iced tea, when Josh hit the "Wurds is hard" button. Henceforth I will be careful with liquids when watching the JHS Show. My Iced tea almost went all over my Stratocaster.
This is FREE?
Wow, that makes this show an even better value!
How does Jeff get paid if this is free?
Beat poetry was on point. 10 Shoyles.
I wonder if Josh is a big William Montgomery and Kill Tony fan with that Kirkland Signature shirt?! lol
The guitar riff to hash pipe is the bass line from family man by Hall and Oates
Gsus 🤣🤣 Always a pleasure dudes.
Not enough Denim, awsome pedals. 7/10
My wife and I troll parties with our kids and matching Kirkland shirts.
Oh man DJ Josh at 39:37 was one of the best moments of JHS Pedals. Lol
You should do podcasts about building minimalist gear like 1 guitar, 1 amp, 5 to 6 pedals in pedalboard.
That would be great!!
Hot damn, Zach can play!
Thank you!
What a show!
“My favorite movie is Ken Burns’ Civil War” lol
He's very boring.
Hot take, there is no bad pavement album. I love all of their albums.
I like the Nick-Addison Cam. I have too much respect for both of them to call it the NAddi cam.
But what if that's what they like to be called?
I have three 3 Series pedals. I plan to have them all.
LOL when Josh replied, “it never really happened.” 19:00
XXXL kirkland shirt? good lord
I'd like to see these guys in a JHS Baseball Team. It wood be fun !
That would be tragic.... but kinda funny.
Zach you pronounce susmaryosep correctly just like our vernacular, I would like to buy this pedal though!
I will try to get into a store over there!
@@MythosPedals Sure why not, there will be healthy competition back there. Because there are amazing Filipino pedal builders like you and Josh. More power to your craft and greetings from the Sunshine State. I enjoy the show!
This video reminds me of that old SNL "Schweddy Balls" skit with Alec Baldwin and the two ladies on NPR.
Sorry to keep pooping out comments but Delvon Lamarr organ trio - on the first big live video they dropped dude used a strat (vintage and awesome looking, but) into a JC 120 and would walk over and push. the button. to switch channels for lead.
A little later on he got a blues junior but was still doing the same thing with it. He may have a tuner? But I don’t think so. Straight in, manual gain channel switching. Baller.
TS-808 & Ross compressor - bought at the same time. Trying to make my Stage 25 SS amp sound like a tube amp. The guitar store guy made the recommendations and I didn't know anything about them. They cost about as mush as the amp did. They are gone but the amp remains.
about 36 mins in realised i was listning on headphones through interface and could just plug in my Epiphone Special II through R.Attack RT-2 Little-Bear pedal (turbo setting) be the third man on lead, too poor for blues, barely taupe
i lul'd @ the Wilhelm Scream in _Zero To Hero_
I really like Zach!!!
✌️😊
He's rad!
@@MythosPedals Hey! Also, I think of Greek beer when I think of Mythos. Have you had it? Ugh. Hope to see more of you!!!
Josh is the guy that loves jammin when hes 20db louder than any else..
Edit...
Most cool guy!!
I remember that Buddy Holly video on the Windows 95 disc...that makes me feel so old.
At about 1hour and 49 minutes.... what does it mean if I missed the live, but came back to watch the recording?
That first session was killer. Addison rules!
1:03:23 this is driving me nuts. Some super guitar hero i watched an interview with in the last 3-4 years talked about how they only use boss pedals now cause they can get them anywhere in the world if something goes wrong with one. It was someone like a yngwie, Steve vai, santana etc - like famous, big, guitar hero who you would expect would have 100 unique, rare irreplaceable pedals on their boards but this was just so common sense that it made me reconsider going all boss. Anyone know who I’m talking about?!? Driving me nuts.
Billy Duffy stated he likes boss for the ability to replace in emergency situation, probably many others
Steve Vai
Was it rock versions of Hercules songs or lost CAKE tracks? I honestly couldn’t tell.
